The gypsy stuff was rather shocking. Couldnt believe the cig and ear piercing either and the red bull swigger.
I dont like to judge people but sometimes its just wrong. At no point should you be holding a cig in a babies mouth.

Feeling so sleepy but want to wait for dh to get home from games night so i can have a hug.
Feeling pitiful so scoffed some twirl bites!

Yay sultana!

I love a good judge. I do it all the time. But the gypsy things just seem like they're set up to make them look as awful as possible because it gets ratings.

sarahleanne · 01/10/2013 23:22

Any gypsies around that can shed some light on this gypsy situation? Lol

AnotherStitchInTime · 01/10/2013 23:36

Good news sultana :)

Can I just linky for you ladies the Spinning Babies website? Lots of tips for optimal foetal positioning on there. As someone who has had two EMCS for malposition, I recommend you get into good habits early before baby gets bigger as has less room to change position. Not slouching back into sofa (lie on your side and take up the whole thing instead Grin), left side lying, using a birth ball to sit on at home and sweeping on hands and knees are all good things to do, especially after 30 weeks. Same applies in labour.

Just had yummy lemon and blueberry cheesecake and a chamomile teapigs so baby is jumping around now.

Squeeze...

extracrunchy · 02/10/2013 00:21

Just had a long diatribe from MIL about how I MUST invest in a postpartum girdle to help my tummy snap back, especially as it's my second. Confused My instinct is NO WAY but now she's planted the seed I'm thinking how bad is the flab going to be..?! And do these things actually work?? Grr.

extracrunchy · 02/10/2013 00:21

Has anyone else even thought about these things?!

chocoloulou33 · 02/10/2013 02:47

Hello I'm here to tell you off for starting new thread too soon lol. Don't you just love being awake at night. Heartburn this time. Am also having a bit of a worry as haven't felt little man kick much at all 2day. Felt a little movement in bath earlier but he's usually on the go all the time. Especially in evening or at night when I'm awake like this. Got midwife 2moro afternoon luckily x

chocoloulou33 · 02/10/2013 02:53

Also extra not even heard of one of those girdles let alone thought about it?! Hoping I'll go back to normal shape quite soon like I did with dd but wont stress about it too much x

TobyLerone · 02/10/2013 07:28

Apparently they're good, extra. Look up reviews on Amazon. I'm tempted.

Hi loulou :) I didn't feel the baby kick much yesterday and when it did, it was small movements, rather than the usual exuberant ones! This is the 4th time it's happened, though, and I know it's just that the baby has moved around a bit to somewhere I can't feel it as much.
Keep an eye on it though, obv, and see what your mw says.

Mac2014 · 02/10/2013 07:39

Ahhhh! I'm v hormonal this am. Just had a row with my DH on the drive to the station, resulting in me bawling my eyes out. Now sat on the train with red eyes and a puffy face.

Row was about him always being negative and nor being positive / excited about bubs. I just can't start the day (every day) with some rant at the news! Am also quite stressed about work ... Loads going on alongside me recruiting for my replacement!

Ah well, off out with the girls tonight and on a hen do this weekend.

Hope all calls to the MW go well and peeps have good days.

Angelesque · 02/10/2013 07:40

I had been looking at those girdles... The science bit all seems to make sense, but I think I'm see how I'm feeling after the birth... May be in no state to even consider squeezing my poor wreck if a post parting body into a corset!!

Angelesque · 02/10/2013 07:40

*of a post partum

Damn you autocorrect

TobyLerone · 02/10/2013 07:48

Poor Mac :( I hope he paid attention.

Mac2014 · 02/10/2013 07:58

I'm just being a wuss. And trying to fill the thread Grin

MrsVDB · 02/10/2013 08:01

I have also considered the girdles but can't even be arsed with my pelvic floors (which I know ill regret later) so expect my good intentions will end in nothing!

Midwife opens at 8 so wish me luck, feel like an anxious first time mum as no real problem apart from a bit of pain like I've had before and a feeling
