Ladies I am struggling to keep up with the witty banter and baby chat. Forgive me , knackered from work /life imbalance and looking after my boys Shock & getting organised for a Fri 13th wedding . I too am wondering who is going to win the Martian twins lottery.. who is left to scan? You lot do seem so organised with all the baby equipment. .I'm planning on nothing so far other than a loft salvage operation Shock . In other news of excitement me and oh have just now booked a durty weekend in Dublin in Oct (well aside from mum and stepdad staying at hotel as we are also having a family reunion). My not so good news is that today I had a cold and did two mahoosive sneezes....which resulted in aherm piss dribble in pants .... (insert embarrassed face). Slightly concerned that my pelvic floor is already collapsing WTF!!! At 15 weeks? Lyra mummypig and other mummies to many kids please offer me comfort!!!!!

apprenticemamma · 12/09/2013 22:21

ew bump cringe moment from last time ...my then 20 year old step son taking to his brother through my bump and touching bump. I'm quite a tactile type but this just freaked me out Grin . CRINGE.

OwlinaTree · 12/09/2013 22:37

Lolling so much at comparing baby size to a curly wurly!!

PiratesMam · 12/09/2013 22:42

apprentice don't worry, this is third time for me and every time I've puked or retched in the last 3 months, I've had to grab my crotch à la Michael Jackson so I've not pissed myself. Dignity? What's that??

apprenticemamma · 12/09/2013 22:46

thanks pirates..so there really is no hope! Shall employ Michael Jackson move in the future, duly noted! SHAMONE !!

SoSurprised · 12/09/2013 22:57

Almost done with the thread! No way can I keep up.
So no so far hve had twins? I always wanted twins but it's so hard coping with the one I am glad that I am not having any.
Why would anyone touch random bumps?that seems completely inappropriate to me.

My work situ is getting more and more stressful. I raised concerns with the manager about the boss and there is now constant low level aggression from him and it's really stressing me out. It's nothing overt just little things he says that make me feel crap. I am wondering if its worth it raising it again with the manager or will the boss start acting even more shitty. He makes me sound like a whiner.

Coolhand · 12/09/2013 23:34

SoSurprised sorry to hear things are still so difficult in work. I would keep a record of the low level stuff, then take that to the boss so there is something concrete to work from. Please look after yourself!

My workload is pretty full on at the mo so hadn't got on here for last few days and there were 18 pages to catch up on! I'm afraid I just read the last 5 as wanted to be in bed before midnight - so tired at the moment.

Anyway, good to hear some positive scan news. Good luck tomorrow scanees!

LyraSilvertongue · 12/09/2013 23:54

Apprentice, just give up on the pelvic floor. It's ruined forever! Helpful, ain't I? Grin

MummyPig24 · 13/09/2013 05:35

Morning! I can't sleep so I thought I would catch up on last nights posts.

Welcome Happy and Panto.

Bump rubbing- I don't have a visible bump yet really so no one has tried to touch my tummy, and a lot of people still don't know I'm pregnant. We are going to dhs friends for dinner tonight and I expect he will be the first to touch it, he was the only person to touch my bump last time at his birthday party when I was 39 weeks! I don't really like the idea of people doing it so I was pleased that everyone seemed respectful enough not to try.

MummyPig24 · 13/09/2013 05:36

I'm quite pleased that my pelvic floor seems to be holding out so far. Even though this is my 3rd baby I have never had any weakness at all, of course by the end I could be pissing myself all over the place.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/09/2013 05:42

Morning all! Mummy I can't sleep either. Even though I'm so tired!

So I'm sorry to head things aren't getting any better at work. Is definitely make a note d everything that's happening.

Good luck to all the other scanees today Smile

SoSurprised · 13/09/2013 05:49

Everytime I read the word pelvic floor I start the exercises, otherwise I have completely forgotten to do them.

I started making a note of everything that happened yesterday, thank you for suggesting it. He says the most sarcastic and patronising things with a big friendly smile on his face that even sometimes I am confused if he is ridiculing me or not. I am really trying to hang in there as I got this job after a lot of searching but am wondering if its worth all the stress.

Wonder77 · 13/09/2013 06:14

Morning. Had my scan yesterday. 1 baby all ok. 12 was 1 day. Good luck to anyone else having scan. Even though its number 3 it was still amazing to see :)

SoSurprised · 13/09/2013 06:18

:) congratulations Wonder77

Wonder77 · 13/09/2013 06:23

Thanks so surprised. Just been reading thread. Definitely write everything down and date it. So awful you're having to put up with such cr@p in this day and age. It's hard enough without idiots like that who shouldn't be in their job.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/09/2013 06:41

Brilliant news Wonder!

So I fad such troubles with my old boss. I still am a year on, so can totally sympathise x

Wonder77 · 13/09/2013 06:46

Thanks nomaybe

Wonder77 · 13/09/2013 06:47

Bump rubbing.... No. Unless permission given no!! People would be rubbing my tyre of flab right now anyway!!

justmuddlingthroughit · 13/09/2013 07:34

so, I had problems with a former colleague, who constantly looked down to me and made inappropriately suggestive comments. When I tried to pick him up on it he would just say he was joking and make out that I was being over-sensitive. I never took it further, because each comment seemed minor in itself, but the cumulative effect was awful. I still feel angry when I think about it, and that I could have reported him if I'd kept tabs on his actions. I'm so sorry that you're going through the same thing, and am glad that you are taking action on it.

justmuddlingthroughit · 13/09/2013 07:35

Talked down to me, not looked down to me. Not sure if I can blame that on auto correct or my tiredness...

justmuddlingthroughit · 13/09/2013 07:37

Oh, and congrats wonder!

apprenticemamma · 13/09/2013 07:40

congrats wonder everyone......flex your pelvics on the count of three...!! I'm off to a wedding, catch up tomorrow Wink
