Morning all!
Seona, hope things feel better today.. I found that walking made pelvic pain a LOT worse, but stationary cycling, cross trainer machine was fine. It's now gone away almost completely after not walking anywhere and just doing fixed exercises and pilates vid. It seemed to be anything that waggles your hips made it worse..
So we're all feeling moany! I too thought this was supposed to be the 'sweetness and light' trimester. My mum said 'don't worry, you'll just feel bovine, like a lovely happy cow!' well maybe, but definitely an angry bovine! I get so impatient at work and swear quietly all the time, sure I wasn't like this before
flying back to UK for mat leave on 4 August, as want to make 100% sure I do not have the baby in Kazakhstan, but have hols with DH and ILs planned for italy for end of Aug, will be flying back at 34 weeks so a bit apprehensive about the baby coming early, but the alternative was driving to Italy in the heat (or not going of course, i hear more sensible people say).
Isn't it a pain how people literally stare at your belly? And ask you silly questions. I'd love to get some t shirts printed that say'
'Yes, I'm pregnant.
It's due October 12
It's our first.
Don't know the sex.
Do know the father.
Feel fine, thanks.
Now goodbye and have a nice day!'
It would just make my day so much more efficient. (there we go, more nasty impatience). Time to hide behind my desk sulking..
