Good Luck legally and skull today!

and to fav and tarlia for scan hospital appts.

How are you this morning falcon? if your not busy having baby already... and nelly any news?

tarlia definitely not getting my hopes up about being in labour. Managed to sleep and have had a couple of period type cramps alongside braxton hicks this morning bt need baby to wait till Saturday anyway so can go to the midwife led unit. Am feeling very jealous of you all with induction/c section dates, I think knowing a date would give me a kick to actually just a) rest or b) get on with housework (my nesting instinct seems to have run out this week) plus im impatient and a control freak and the idea it could be any time from Saturday or up to 5 weeks away stresses me out.

rubytwosday · 10/09/2013 07:38

This thread is getting very exciting now! Best of luck with the babies legally, skull, nelly and falcon. Hope hospital appointments go well fav and tarlia. And I hope everyone else has a good day. X

TheFalconsmistress · 10/09/2013 07:42

Nothing and I mean nothing has happened over night Sad not much hope for me today!

Good luck to legally, skull, nellys and any one else I have missed in the mad dash of the last few days xxx

JellyCurls · 10/09/2013 07:44

Good luck today ladies, hope everything goes to plan and can't wait to hear your updates in a day or two when you got time. Actually will be a year or two before any of us have time to be in MN again

Nothing to report from camp Jelly other than my midwife called me yesterday to say I need to get my WC vaccine before Monday - thanks for the advance notice. Oh she also said that when I saw her last week she thought I was in early labour but she still let me go home I feel she is a little scatterbrained

Still getting strong BH that are becomming more regular and upset tummy but no real signs of baby, now telling myself 5 weeks to go then I wont be disappointed if still here on due date

MrsHoratioNelson · 10/09/2013 07:54

Good luck for today ladies, babies by the end of the day, eek!

SeriousStuff · 10/09/2013 07:57

Good luck today one and all!

35+4 today and have my next MW appointment - hoping my baby is no longer back to back. Not holding out much hope though as my stomach still feels quite soft...

Shirehobbit · 10/09/2013 08:13

Good luck today, Legally and Skull x
Hope things have/are progressing, Falcon and Nelly.

I bet a new thread does get started before the news of babies breaks!

Back from another (and thankfully last) epic wedding weekend. At 35wks, it was definitely the last time I could really have made the 5hr journey and survived the 12hr party - so looking forward to doing nothing this weekend.

Was joking with DH that we'll need a morning register/check-in system soon, to keep track of our individual pregnancy/labour/baby status.

He suggested using acronyms...
SC - still cooking (pre EDD)
SFW - still f*ing waiting (post EDD)
OWT - on way to theatre (CS)
IP - induction in progress
SWIL - somewhere in labour
LIT -lost in transition

What do you think? Wink Grin

Natalieand · 10/09/2013 08:31

Good luck with today's appts tarlia and fav

Sorry things haven't progressed as well as u would have hoped over night falcon but the end is in sight xx

I've woken up with a chesty cough and ear infection so I will not be wishing labour upon myself in the next few days apparently being 35+2 isn't reason enough not to wish labour on myself

Natalieand · 10/09/2013 08:33

Haha I love your dh suggestions!!! Especially the OWT can u just imagen one of us being wheeled down the corridors to theatre whilst mums netting Grin

My morning check in is = SC

HotSoupDumpling · 10/09/2013 08:37

SC! Great suggestions, DH of Shire!

Had an awful night's sleep. Bleughhhh

This thread is going to be v exciting over the next few months (not that it hasn't already been exciting for the last seven months!).

roofio87 · 10/09/2013 08:45

hope eveything goes well today legally can't wait to hear news of the twins!

I'm so unreasonably jealous of those of you who's babies are imminently about to arrive!! I just can't wait for mine to be here now!!

TheFalconsmistress · 10/09/2013 08:53

Lol love it shire Thanks nat I started contracting again this morning Hmm thinking this is going to be a drawn out process!

SWIL here Grin

JellyCurls · 10/09/2013 09:01

falcon get bouncing on that gym ball to encourage baby down and out.

I am SC Smile

TheFalconsmistress · 10/09/2013 09:04

Will do away to dtd again when DH gets in too Blush got to do it all!

Natalieand · 10/09/2013 09:06

Desperate times desperate measures falcon lol

We so need a new thread before babies r born so we can name it something relevant :-)

PseudoBadger · 10/09/2013 09:12

Ok I'll suggest a Friends quote for the next thread: "High five! The babies are coming!"

pinkbuttons · 10/09/2013 09:21

haha love it shire
SC here.
Love the dedication falcon Grin

takingachance · 10/09/2013 09:37

Morning everyone, still keeping up with all the exciting news Smile

I'm SC here, 35+2

Good luck to all those getting to meet their babies today - have to admit to being a teeny bit jealous Envy

Can't wait to hear all the news later xxxx

Wickedgirl · 10/09/2013 09:42

Good luck ladies......how exciting!

These threads are going to even faster soon as the babies start being born and we all get over excited. I can't wait!

Loving the abbreviations shire....... I'm SC at 35+6. I need to get to at least next Wednesday if I want the MLU.

Natalieand · 10/09/2013 09:47

Love the thread name idea pseudo and post the acronym list as the opening message with spread sheet link just incase we forget what acronym we need :-)

takingachance · 10/09/2013 09:57

It's interesting reading those of you who have to get to 37 weeks to get to use the MLU,

I have to get to 37 weeks so I don't have to be flown to the mainland Shock as they don't have any NICU facilities here.

Can't even Imagine the logistics of that- I.e dh would have to stay here with dd and I would have to go to Glasgow on my own..... So this baby definitely needs to stay put for another 2 weeks!!

Natalieand · 10/09/2013 09:58

That sounds scary taking what would they do if u weeds 37+ and a complication occurred requiring nicu? Fly the baby to mainland and leave u at your current hospital?

takingachance · 10/09/2013 10:04

Yes Natalie, any problems with baby it is off to Glasgow by air ambulance... I think if I am too ill to travel, dh would go with baby, and dd would have to stay with friends until my mum could get here (but she lives in Manchester!)
Can't really think about it, have to stay positive!

The only other option would be to go to the mainland at some point, to have the baby over there, but that doesn't really help the logistics either!

PseudoBadger · 10/09/2013 10:05

Good luck today Tarlia. BP was 135/90 this morning but rather than panic I'm going to take it again in a while.
DS was a complete angel this morning and he's now at the childminders and I'm pondering whether to sleep then do supermarket, or the other way round. Decisions decisions!

Natalieand · 10/09/2013 10:09

I say supermarket the sleep pseudo also my bp was always around 135/90 with my last pregnancy and I was on daily aspirin to reduce the risk to me. I'm also on the aspirin this time but my bp hasn't been as high. Did u have PE last time? X
