Serious I am the same with the zzzzi had about 3 hrs tops. My sister is staying with us as she is on a training course in Liverpool, the other 2 bedrooms one is nursery and the other is dp's home office so I had no where but the sofa to go last night when dp was snoring....literally pulling my hair out. So I thought sod it and the extra £££ I would get from working an extra 2 weeks I just want to relax and sleep in the day if I feel like it.

HeffalumpTheFlump · 09/09/2013 14:36

flyer iv only gone and bloody found some!! Grin just enough for one rediculously strong cup. Grin I love it when stuff like that happens!

Flyer747 · 09/09/2013 14:39

JellyCurls · 09/09/2013 14:54

Feminist my DD was 5 days early and my DS was 5 days late so think this one will come on due date only time will tell

claphammama · 09/09/2013 14:54

flyer why get dressed at this point?

I'm very jealous of your lazy day. My week is going to be really full on as I have so many handover meetings but I think it's better this way. I also have to write my own and my team's annual performance assessments this week... the American corporate bulls* I hate with a passion every single year... I should have finished last Friday!! arrgh...but now I have to stay here and write how amazing I am etc... correction - "awesome". feeling slightly nauseous already...

I'm getting the strongest kicks ever today - literally feels like the baby is drilling into my stomach with his foot. I think it's going to be a big and strong little thing... ouch

JellyCurls · 09/09/2013 14:56

Wickedgirl · 09/09/2013 15:16

How exciting falcon

This time tomorrow we should have more babies on the thread!

Smitten1981 · 09/09/2013 15:17

Good luck Falcon so exciting! Keep us updated!

Soooooo after a day of messing about I just spoke to my MD. The new plan for mat leave is that I will finish in the office as planned next Friday, work from home until my due date then if the baby hasn't come by then I'll start using my holiday entitlement and any leftover days that I can't take because the baby is here and SMP has kicked in, they'll just pay me the money instead, so I don't lose out either way really.

Is that all above board mat leave experts?

Flyer747 · 09/09/2013 15:19

Clapham totally cringe factor, I sometimes want to crawl up my own arse when I hear yanks saying such phrases. They can be a bit deep for us British stuff upper lipped folk Grin

Yeah it 3pm and I'm actually embarrassed to admit I'm watching Jezza Kyle in my bathrobe (that's turned orange from my fake tan) I'm a right scumbag at the moment GrinGrin

Flyer747 · 09/09/2013 15:20

Stiff not stuff

Sparkeleigh · 09/09/2013 15:25

oh, I haven't been on for a couple of days and I've missed so much!

Best of luck skullbabe, falcon and legally! We need pompom smileys Grin

Warlin I hope the baby turns for you!

clapham we have to do that awful 'I'm so awesome' stuff too, but don't forget you're still eligible for payrises and bonuses when you're on mat leave so it's worth it for that. At least it'll be the last time ever for you if you're changing careers, I'm so jealous Smile Envy

ananikifo · 09/09/2013 15:27

I'll de-lurk for a second to say most North Americans wouldn't use awesome in a performance evaluation...

Also good luck Falcon!

Flyer747 · 09/09/2013 15:30

Ana are you Canadian or from the USA? Didn't mean to offend btw.

pinkbuttons · 09/09/2013 15:31

Hope things are progressing well falcon how exciting!!

and Good Luck to both legally and skull tomorrow! Going to start getting exciting checking in in the mornings and seeing who's had babies. Cant believe were so close.

Has anyone got any experience of losing mucous plug? Don't remember losing it last time although I guess I did at some point and think I might be losing bits today but not sure... Also been having Braxton hicks since DTD last night, had about 4 hours sleep after DH moved into the spare room complaining about me being too fidgety Hmm May have to avoid DTD until Saturday if its going to make me feel like this, at least then will be 37 weeks and happy if labour actually started.

Hope everyone who has just started maternity leave are having a lovely day, some of you need to rest though! Your putting me to shame doing so much housework! Grin

ananikifo · 09/09/2013 15:34

I'm Canadian. I use awesome verbally all the time but the idea of it being in a performance evaluation makes me cringe, too. We're not all like that!

Flyer747 · 09/09/2013 15:37

In my experience I find Canadians totally different to Americans. I usually find Canadians more like Brits, like to clear that up before I offend anyone further..Shock

Smitten1981 · 09/09/2013 15:38

Wahhhh Pink jealous, I can't get DH to go anywhere near me anymore, let alone DTD. He tells me to get off him every time I even touch him on the arm. Grrrr.

I don't blame him though, I do look like a weeble at the moment!
