...although, I am very conscious of my own class, so...

Fuck it. I'll shut up now.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/09/2013 15:10

Oh Prammy you make me Grin. I really want a Griggs sausage roll. I really do

And there's no such thing as a kids party without sweets and fuzzy drinks. What is the world coming to?! If the kids aren't sent home climbing the walls, then you're work is not done Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/09/2013 15:10

Who the fuck is Griggs?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/09/2013 15:10

Fuzzy? Really? I'm giving up and going back to bed.

FoxMulder · 01/09/2013 15:12

I used to be middle class but then I married a builder & he dragged me down Smile

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 15:20

Grin at Fox being gutterised by th'usband.

Marbie, what have I told you about proof-reading? Everyone on here is going to fink you're fick and not the medical-writer-once-a-neuro-scientist wot you really are. In two posts you managed 'Griggs', 'fuzzy' and 'you're' instead of 'your' Grin

IceNoSlice · 01/09/2013 15:52

OFFS people. Yesterday you made me want chip shop chips, pies, gravy, the works. Today? A yummy, super fattening, piping hot, greasy, cheesy bean filled Greggs pasty. Can someone please make carrot sticks or summat sound enticing before I end up the size of a house?

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 16:17

Ice Grin Can anything beat the bean & sausage pasties from Greggs? Yes: the steak bakes drizzled in HP sauce and slapped on thick Warburtons white bread with Lurpak

Rockchick1984 · 01/09/2013 16:19

Mmmm, sausage and bean pasty from Greggs... Think I know what tomorrow's lunch will be!!

FoxMulder · 01/09/2013 16:28

Cheese & bacon wrap way better. There is not enough sausage in a sausage & bean pasty.

I just went out for lunch in the Yorkshire Dales followed by a walk on the river bank and then cake. Thank fucking fuck this sickness is lifting.

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 16:31

Fox, that sounds nice. Do you live around them there parts? Describe the cake, pliz..

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 16:31

P.s..'wraps' are gay.

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 16:33

Frank, I've been coveting musing your absent-for-most-of-the-week husband situation. Will he be away that much when your baby comes? How will you cope with that?

FoxMulder · 01/09/2013 16:43

Oh, they are so not gay. You're jus jealous cuz you can't pull off the cheese & bacon wrap look like me.

Yeah, I live wedged between Yorkshire dales & lake district national parks. It's nice, convenient for both but with neither housing price tag.

FrankelInFoal · 01/09/2013 16:44

It all depends on his next posting Pram. He's already said he'll take a month off when sprog arrives (2 weeks paternity & 2 weeks annual leave) and then we'll plan from there. He can work from home now and then so he said he'll try to do that on a few Monday's & Friday's, as well as try to come home 1 night during the week when his meetings etc will allow. It takes him 2 hours to get from home to the office and he has to start work at 8am, so it's just not feasible for him to commute daily and keep his sanity!

Our next problem comes in June/July when he's due to be posted to a new position. Best case scenario it will be somewhere closer to home that he can commute to. Worst case is that he'll be sent to a certain sandy location in the Middle East for 6 months. We'll probably find out in February/March and will have to plan from there.

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 17:21

Ooh, Frank, he sounds like an ambassador or summat.

apprenticemamma · 01/09/2013 17:22

hmmm my pie craving of the day has been salmon and asparagus quiche :) With Cranston pickle nom!

apprenticemamma · 01/09/2013 17:22

branston natch.

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 17:23

Fox, your location sounds lovely. I live nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by tors and reservoirs but also only a few miles from some shit-holes where the natives actually live off Greggs and Frosty Jacks.

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 17:26

Apprentice, you need to bring that middle-class quiche shit down a notch.

Marbles, you make me laugh Grin

Two measly pieces of Toblerone have sent me tumbling into bilious hell Envy When, when, when will I learn??

PramQueen1971 · 01/09/2013 17:27

...salmon and asparagus quiche

MummyPig24 · 01/09/2013 17:29

A piece of lemon drizzle cake with strawberries, raspberries and cream this afternoon was delicious but I felt really sick afterwards.

FoxMulder · 01/09/2013 17:33

Did you know that New Look does maternity wear? I thought New Look only sold stuff for teenagers.

FoxMulder · 01/09/2013 17:34

Oh, wait...I think I just worked it out. Anyway, it's pretty cheap.

Are bump bands any good or should I go straight for maternity trousers?
