Is it between 12 and 18 weeks we're supposed to really pop out?

On another note...the dog stood on my womb-area earlier. Owie Sad

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:11

Bionic - I haven't been signed up long enough to have encountered a Gregs opinion yet...I'm assuming Gregs are the devil incarnate?

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:14

Told DH about pornographers earlier - he spent ages Grin

NOOOOOOOOO! DH has just rung to say he has tried about 5 different chippies and they are all shut - BOO! Sad

NoMaybeAboutIt · 31/08/2013 23:16

Bionic you need to live here!! We have a number of late night chippies. Mr rams kebabs being one of them. But fancy fry is the best Wink

But I am so off chips it's not even funny Envy

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:18

Well mostly they take offence at Greggs Sausages rolls, so maybe you might just about get away with a pie! Though always feel guilty if have one - rather like the cheese and onion one.

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:19

Bionic are you sure it's chips you're after? I thought I was for days but had a brain wave that it was the other chippy food I wanted...hence my mission to fill the freezer with pies today. Bit late for most chippies...this is more kebab hour Envy

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:21

What's up with the sausage rolls? Just the fat content and the fact it's not filled with all the best cuts of pig? People are weird. Nobody goes to Gregs looking for a salad!

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:21

Sulks about no chippies being opened and not convinced DH is trying hard enough.

He's not returned home yet... probably panicky as I went (in sad voice" "You have failed your mission..." Grin

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:23

Ah he's back... having failed his mission. Hmmmph!

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:23

NoMaybe so am I. Took me ages to work out my craving wasn't for chips and that's why I was off food as soon as I saw them. Weird considering it's a beige food. It seems all the foods I crave are beige and starchy...so far removed from my normal eating habits it's not even funny.

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:25

His new mission...home made chips Wink

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:25

No it's definitely chips... will just have to root in cupboards and see what there is... Sad

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:27

Think the house would burn down if I let the DH loose in the kitchen... not known for his cooking skills! Tee hee!

This was the man when he made his 1st meal for me, forgot to drain the water out of the vegs and was wondering why I was staring at my plate looking confused at the food floating in water. Grin

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:31

Haha! Probably best not to then. Asked my OH to chuck the oven on to prehest earlier while we nipped to the shops. Got back to a house full of smoke with the dog sniffing for air at the bottom of the back door.Confused Turns out he also felt the need to turn the grill element on full. (The pup is thankfully completely fine but I suspect we need to see what's up with the smoke alarms)

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:31

Have put some oven chips on... not quite the same but guess will satisfy craving a wee bit.

Jolleigh · 31/08/2013 23:38

They'll still work on a butty...especially if you have Lurpack in. (I really am having a slightly food obsessed evening...sorry for being such a bad influence on everyone)

BionicEar · 31/08/2013 23:44

Think my hunger is made worst by fact we went to friends for tea and as usual (which DH find funny) they gave me a really small portion, him a reasonable size and then piled their plates with food. Hmm

We had Echilada. Mine was basically the wrap, with a little bit of rice and some mushrooms in it. Only found one small piece of chicken in one of the echiladas. Everyone else was massive, jammed full of food. It wasn't like mine was the last portion either as got it first, and when I wandered into the kitchen later there were a few big ones left on the side, for their meal tomorrow.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 31/08/2013 23:55

That's not on Bionic!!! How dare they!

Joll I am really off beige food. I cannot get enough of fruit. The more sour the better.

I have discovered my new favourite beverage. Kia ora and sparkling water. Oh my.

Jolleigh · 01/09/2013 00:05

Shocked and appalled Bionic . Do they know you're pregnant?

Jolleigh · 01/09/2013 00:07

NoMaybe - I am actively hoping the day comes soon where I feel capable of eating a piece of fruit. I can at least manage juices and smoothies, but pieces of fruit and salads, I'm really starting to miss despite the thought of them really making me green.

BionicEar · 01/09/2013 00:08

Yes as told them prior to the meal.

It happens every time. At first Dh thought I was being daft, but every time we go the same thing happens.

I thought by telling them I was pg, they would bulk up my plate, but no still a little portion!

It's my friend DH who does the cooking. I thought at first maybe he thought women should have smaller, but then that went out the window when I saw the massive portions he gave my friend!

BionicEar · 01/09/2013 00:09

Told DH next time we go, we're swapping plates!

Jolleigh · 01/09/2013 00:14

Offer to bring dessert next time, then you plate up...reverse the treatment and see what they say Wink (will work better with a dessert you know they love)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/09/2013 00:36

Love that advice Joll!!

Bionic I just can't get over that!!! It's so mean!! Why would they do that?! You should come to mine. I'm such a feeder. People have to roll out of here Wink

MummyPig24 · 01/09/2013 06:34

Bionic why are they so tight with food? How rude! I would not be impressed, not that I can eat much right now, but still they should give equal portions. 1 measley enchilada!

Dd did her first night with no nappy. I got her up for a wee about midnight when ds called that he needed one, he never usually goes in the night but it was lucky he needed to! Then about 3 she called that she needed to go. In hoping this goes well and we can be a nappy free house for 6 months!

We told the kids about the baby yesterday. They were pretty excited. Ds has been asking loads of questions.
