I am struggling to keep up. Need to work most evenings now and don't get through everything until after 11, so have 1 catch up point for this thread a day. Just had 8 pages to read!

Thanks Nomaybe for recipe - will find it online and may even have the book downstairs. Thanks Pram as well - will check that out.

Far too much to comment on but glad to hear good scan news though Imeg that's frustrating being on hold until next time. Good luck for scans tomorrow.

People keep telling me how massive my bump is for 14 weeks - can't really remember from last time. Will take photo and put on f/b soon - then want some other 14 week bumps to compare. I'm still fitting into size 8 loose dresses (though I'm well into maternity jeans - skinnys went weeks ago) so can't be massive but think it's just very pronounced. Maybe it stands out more because I am a narrow frame or maybe I'm just in denial

Rockchick1984 · 03/09/2013 03:53

Cool I've been googling 14 week bump photos - they seem to vary between nothing and huge so fairly sure you're normal no matter what size you are :)

Insomnia strikes again... Soooo tired all day, awful headache, so went to bed at 9.30, woke up at 2.30 for a wee and now can't sleep Sad

x0gawjus0x · 03/09/2013 06:46

FrankelInFoal · 03/09/2013 06:53

Morning all, found out last night some friends of ours are also expecting in March - their second. If you are in here my comments about DH's job should have outed me to you Wink

FrankelInFoal · 03/09/2013 06:56

How rude of me to neglect to wish all today's scanees good luck.

Are we about halfway through everyone now? I'm one of the early March due dates and its almost 2 weeks since my 12w scan, so I figure we've got about 2 weeks of scans left? Maybe?

Beccadugs · 03/09/2013 07:04

Oh wow finally got to the end of the thread! You ladies are very chatty!

Trying to drag myself out of bed to get ready for work. After six weeks of holidays, and three weeks off sick before that I am feeling a bit blue about going back!

MummyPig24 · 03/09/2013 07:13

Good luck to today's scanees. I don't want to drag myself out of bed but I think I heard the kids stirring. I must clean the Bathroom today, need to get me some cillit bang, the limescale situation is getting silly.

Beccadugs · 03/09/2013 07:28

Don't use villus bang mummypig, use alkaseltzer in the loo, and vinegar mixed with bicarbonate of soda everywhere else... Cheaper and more effective!!

MummyPig24 · 03/09/2013 07:39

Thanks for the tip becca!

Think we are going to make a banana cake today, ds starts school tomorrow so we need a little treat for his lunchbox!

commsgirl · 03/09/2013 07:43

Becca Hope you have a good first day back!

Thanks for all the good lucks. I'm so nervous to have this scan without DP being there.

PiratesMam · 03/09/2013 07:51

Good luck all the scannees today! comms you will be fine, we will be here virtually!

cool I'm showing a lot too, am nearly 14 weeks. I am normally 8-10 but I have a short torso, so I think it's got nowhere to go but out!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/09/2013 07:58

Good luck to all scanees Smile

Hope your day goes ok Becca

Can I have some advice you wise lot. Do you think it's worth me going to the GP? I can't eat anything as feel so sick. I'm not actually vomiting, but I passed out this morning. A 4 hour commute every day is just adding to it. I've only been in this job 7 weeks and feel like I'm on a massive guilt trip, to the extent that even though I passed out, I'm still going in (though I've come home for another hour first). It's just making me so sad and I don't feel like I'm coping. Can someone slap me please Smile

commsgirl · 03/09/2013 08:08

Maybe You poor love. I'd definitely go to the GP, especially now you're at the point of passing out. Don't worry about work, you and baby need to come first! Look after yourself x

commsgirl · 03/09/2013 08:09

Also . Don't feel like you need one as you're coping brilliantly but you did ask :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/09/2013 08:10

Thanks Comms. DH has just made me feel like I should work no matter what. That makes him sound awful, but the rest of the time he is amazing.

TMI, but everytime I manage to eat something, I get awful diarrohea. What is that about?!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/09/2013 08:10

Grin Comms

TotalShock · 03/09/2013 08:12

Ohmaybe you poor thing. Go to the gp. I am like you feel guilty about work and go in anyway but in this case you passed out lovely. The lack of food and energy and with that commute must be horrendous. You must look after yourself. Take care xx

Good luck with all today's scans

mimili · 03/09/2013 08:16

Good luck to fellow scanees today! I've not slept a wink worrying (tell me to stop being silly ) 2 hours to go!

mimili · 03/09/2013 08:17

maybe please go to the gp. Look after yourself

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/09/2013 08:21

Thanks Total and Mimii. You're right. Now to do battle with the GP....

Rockchick1984 · 03/09/2013 08:23

Maybe I had no morning sickness with DS but near-constant diarrhoea. Midwife said it was basically just my body's version of sickness! This pregnancy however I've had both Angry

Please remember though that your work don't actually care about you. The individuals there may but the company don't - if you left you would be easily replaced. You need to put your health above work, you are the only one responsible for your little baby!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/09/2013 08:28

You're so right Rock. Thank you, I needed to hear that. I spoke to the receptionist and she has got me in straight away. I think she was surprised I'd let it go for so long! So I don't feel so silly now.

I just feel that when the nausea passes enough for me to eat, it comes straight out the other end again Grin. And who says pregnancy isn't sexy?!

MTBMummy · 03/09/2013 08:37

Good luck to all the scanees today, is it 4 of you today?

Mines on Monday at 8am, so going to have to take DD with us as it seems a bit unfair to drop her at any of our neighbours at 7am as they all have kids that need to get off to multiple schools.

MTBMummy · 03/09/2013 08:42

Maybe def go to the GP, just tell them you're pregnant and have passed out, that got me an immediate appointment when it happened a few weeks ago.

I'm normally a drag myself into work no matte what type, but as DP and a very good friend pointed out, it's no longer just me, but the baby I'm carrying, health I need to worry about. x

MTBMummy · 03/09/2013 08:43

God that makes no sense... I blame being woken up by the neighbours washing machine at 4am!

Only 18 days until I move house - yay!
