How you girls all feeling today? I swear I keep forgetting I'm pregnant when symptoms disappear randomly. But I'm at such early stages, one of the babies of the bunch at just 5+2

I'm glad that everything went well today with scans.

I have mine tomorrow morning at 9.15am very nervous as I haven't had any symptoms all week. So hoping for a good scan tomorrow.

I have an early scan booked for Sunday, so not long to wait now. Excited but equally as anxious!

Exciting news hearing about the scans pain and trinpy. Good luck demented.
Still no letter, I rush in through door everyday to check if post has arrived. And nothing!
I'm looking forward to getting the scan and telling everyone. Although nervous about telling my best friend as she started ttc before me, and I've since started ttc, got pregnant, had a ds who is now 14months old and pregnant again and she's still waiting for something to happen. It must be so hard to be in that position.
Also not wanting to tell work as am just back from mat leave. And my boss is a grumpy git! And seems to be annoyed that I'm taking all my holiday leave meaning that I'm only doing 3 days a week at the moment (and in fact due to my pregnancy have enough days to last me till I'm due to go off again) mind you reason I have so many days is because I worked right up to my due date last time and didn't take any time off while pregnant as he took forever arranging cover! Sorry epic post, had bad day at work today, my boss is not my favourite person today!

Woohoo well done ladies glad the scans went well, I don't know you know with ds2 I was just as excited as withds1, although he's dp's first, I remember looking up at dp saying tell me you can see a heartbeat, before I looked lol. I'm not seeing the mw until 10+ weeks again so my booking in scan officially I'll be lucky to get within the next month, hence our private one. They're crap here in the early stages.

Would I be bonkers to do a 2nd private scan?
I just feel that time has frozen and 12 w seems miles away.

Congratulations on your pregnancies!

I had a miscarriage last year, and an ectopic earlier this year......now find myself 10 weeks pregnant. Saw heartbeat at early scan. Very anxious due to previous losses...........the only people who know are me and my husband! I plan on hiding this pregnancy as long as I can..... I am quite a private person, and had quite a tragic year so far since my mum died in January. Really hope this is a healthy pregnancy for me this time with a healthy baby at the end!

I am due around 14 April 2014.

lovely to hear scans have gone well, and still a few to look forward to. Mine has been changed so now it's on Wednesday (instead of third week of Oct!). I'm also dreading telling work, as I returned from mat leave already pregnant. but I'll have to tell them sooner or later.
I seem to have been referred to an obstetrician this time around. Not sure why, but might be the fact that I birthed a toddler last time. Any previous babies above 4.5kg get a special mention in the mat notes. You wouldn't know he was born the weight of a 6w old baby. At 1 year he's only at the 25th centile. Skinny chap now. Born the dimensions of a watermelon, now more like a banana! it's his dad's genes. he and his 2 brothers were all enormous. (he was 10 lbs and his younger DB was 10 lbs 10 oz

poppy, I'm so sorry for you're loss, what a rough time you've had. Looks like this one is on the right track developing properly. I understand keeping it private, especially with the losses you've had. When do you plan to tell people (how long are you going to let them think you're just getting fat?)

Hello to Poppy (and sorry to hear you've had a tough time) - there are lots of good vibes on this thread so hopefully enough to get us all through the stresses of pregnancy. Good to hear you've already heard a HB. I'd heard nothing til this morning so part of me was convinced there would be nothing there. The other part of me was terrified there would be triplets! I guess none of us will stop worrying til they're all safely out in April. Glad to hear trinpy had good news too. I remember getting so emotional with DD1 but this morning was so weird - the sonographer must have thought we were the coldest/least emotional couple ever! I'm way more excited/emotional this evening now that it has sunk in a bit more. Good luck tomorrow penguin!

Learnasyougo I birthed a huge one last time as well (10lb8) and have to see a Dr instead of midwife for 16wk check. Do you think it'll ruin any chances of a birth centre?? Like yours it came out looking like a 2 mth old sumo wrestler and is now waif-like - people don't believe me when I tell them her birth weight as she is so skinny nowadays.

That's good your scan has been brought forward! Wow big babbas in your family! Hope you're keeping well.

I honestly aim to hide it for as long as I can...... maybe until sometime between 16 - 20 weeks if I can wear autumn cardis and big colourful scarves?! I just don't have the pregnancy optimism like my two friends do (first pregnancies, one currently at 22 weeks and one at 14 weeks - it's great they are so happy, posting all over face book etc and shopping for things, but I am taking it one day at a time).

My husband and I moved in with my dad to help him since my mum died....... my dad doesn't have the best of eye sight so I'm sure baggy clothes and big scarves will hide things for a while! He has asked me why I've not had my head in the wine cupboard these past two weekends though lol!
