thanks for that Vix - I didn't know that about milk - it's probably bloody making mine worse and i just don't realise! Will keep a closer eye on it.

Champagne - sorry your feeling crap again. I'm similar in that I thought I was loads better and getting back to normal but seem to be regressing a bit. Lets hope by 16 weeks we're all right as rain and bouncing around with energy!

Milkandtwo · 09/08/2013 12:38

LittlePandaBear HA! I just spat tea all over my keyboard.

tinypolkadot · 09/08/2013 13:14

Have a lovely holiday EeyoreIsh!

I only got up to the toilet once last night, it was amazing! Maybe I will start sleeping through soon?

Still feeling a little nauseous in the evenings and averse to some foods, but feel like I'm slowly improving and ready to introduce other foods into my life. Although, I know as soon as I say that it'll come back worse tomorrow!

14+3

barebranches · 09/08/2013 14:10

im so tired with running to plus apparently i make a lot of fuss each time i get up for the loo... DH hasnt heard me swear so much!!

think i might have baby brain too... keep dropping stuff... spilt a whole bottle of water in my car abd then dropped a glass of coke 2 mins later...

HarlemWobble · 09/08/2013 14:13

Have a wicked holiday Eeyore! Gaviscon does the trick for re with heartburn. I usually have a couple of the liquid sachets in my handbag for during the day...very handy after lunch! Smile

Another one getting up to pee in the night! Only once or twice for me. Still bloody knackering though.

I'm clock watching at work, this afternoon is dragging!

mrscookie78 · 09/08/2013 14:20

Hope your ok today Zazou and all goes well! I'm still peeing once a night!I used to go through so many rennies last time with ds! I havent had heartburn or anything like that yet! Smile

laura0007 · 09/08/2013 14:22

Littlepanda! GrinGrinGrin

Shropshiremummy2b · 09/08/2013 15:34

4 Times a night?! Thats Laura0007's dream!

As a 1st of Feb girl, Im 14 + 7 today and exstatic to report that I have finally ceased getting up in the night. It will stop soon girls, promise.

laura0007 · 09/08/2013 15:46

It is my dream Shropshire!! GrinWink Although that's probably how I ended up on this board in the first place...Smile

misskatamari · 09/08/2013 15:52

Awwww Shropshire I'm due 1st feb too GrinI'm definitely peeing less in the night than I was. Heart burn is doing my head in at the mo - gaviscon time! I must get some rennie - I actually quite like them. Much better than the gaviscon tablets!

Shropshiremummy2b · 09/08/2013 15:55

Yes, it disturbs me, as queen of the prudes, that you know i've done it! Blush Blush Blush

Shropshiremummy2b · 09/08/2013 15:59

misskat woop woop, ive probably spoken too soon and il still be waddling around mid Feb whilst everyone else on here is gushing aboout their newborns! Or even worse you'll have all left here to look after your babies and i'l be like 'guys, where are you? Guys, did you have an epidural? Guys, helllloooooo.... Panda, Champagne, Littlest, Laura, Bear, Bare, Tiny, Vix, ANYONE!!!!'.

vix206 · 09/08/2013 16:34

Eeyore hope I'm not too late to wish you a lovely holiday. So envious Grin

Timpani · 09/08/2013 17:14

Talking of breasts, is anyone still breastfeeding? I am. My nips are all sore and sensitive and boobs have started to hurt which hasn't happened since I had DS! I'm not sure what to do, whether I should wean or now before baby #2...

My bump is still pretty much non-existant. I was big at this point last time... Trying not to panic that something's gone wrong!

Morien · 09/08/2013 17:36

I'm peeing less in the night too (14w tomorrow). Just wish this tiredness would go away! Mornings and evenings are fine, but I lose the whole of each afternoon. Have been on leave for 4 weeks, last day today Sad - really not looking forward to going back to work..although I'm thinking maybe it'll be better in a way as I just won't have the option of sleeping all afternoon so I'll just have to get on? Confused

barebranches · 09/08/2013 17:42

morien im the same! i loose 2 hours most afternoon. but im more tired now than when i was at work. Being on holiday makes me lazy!

starting decorating babies room tomorrow. i know its early but come september ill have 30 four year olds to think about so i want to get lots done now! Grin

tinypolkadot · 09/08/2013 17:43

I can't help you with that I'm afraid timpani would be interested to hear advice for future reference though!

Speaking of breasts....taking my bra off is my favourite moment of the day at the minute. As soon as I get in the door it's off! Heaven Grin

Has anyone started taking bump photos? I've bought a pregnancy diary, it's really lovely but as yet I've been too sicky and tired to fill it in. I really must or on the beans 18th I'll be saying "I bought this to give to you when you turned 18, but I was just too knackered to do anything with it"

EeyoreIsh · 09/08/2013 17:52

Thanks for all the happy holiday wishes Grin we're on our way now! v excited to have stopped work for a few weeks. I charged my blackberry ready to take and then decided to leave it at home. I'm such a rebel, me Wink

I'm definitely stopping off to get some gaviscon though. I made the mistake of not eating for hours because of it, and had both heartburn and nausea at the same time. Not good.

I got one of those body length boomerang shaped pillows, its really flexible (you can bend it and fold it etc) and so comfy, I love it. I've even caught Dh cuddling it when I've not been in bed!

I got mine on amazon, it's a theraline maternity and nursing pillow

mrscookie78 · 09/08/2013 18:44

I used to sleep with a pillow between my legs, so a bit like the pregnancy pillows. you do find it hurts your knees and hips when you lay on your side. Sad

Sassy20 · 09/08/2013 19:16

Well we're back from center parcs. Had a lovely time but glad to be home though as nice to have my own things around again. Feeling tired though so plan to rest this weekend as possible. Smile

I can def recommend gaviscon - it was brilliant in my last pregnancy when I had awful heartburn.

I noticed some of you with dcs were sharing birth stories. My dd was a ventouse delivery after 24 hour labour. I was put on a drip to speed things and given an epidural at that point as well. I do remember saying straight after I could do that again and I'm pretty sure at some point not long after I told someone the pregnancy was worst than the delivery particularly the first trimester! Hope that helps reassure those first timers. Smile

pettyprudence · 09/08/2013 19:34

champagne I think you can sleep on your front or back until it becomes uncomfortable - ie that's the sign to stop (weight of baby) - and then lying on your side with pillows between knees and quite frankly all round you is the only way to get comfy.

I could never get comfy last pg and I tried EVERY pillow going. I found dh to be just the right height and firmness though and I use to sleep on my side with one leg slung across him. Great for me, not so much for him Grin I might search for a dh sized body pillow this time....
