Oh no petty :( trapped wind is horrid! Alas mine isn't very trapped! Poor DH has to put up with my farting away with lots of "sorry - I'm pregnants" - pay back for his years of farting mwahahaha

ch1134 · 14/08/2013 11:42

I haven't had trapped wind in pregnancy but I get it when I'm really really nervous (the night before I moved to Spain, the night after I got mugged), and it's so very painful - I feel for you... and hope it doesn't last.

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 12:13

Shropshire come backkkkkkk! We love you... And baby Percy! I swore I always wanted to call my child Cosmo throughout my teenage years, alas I now know that as it won't be going to private school it will get the shit kicked it of it in the playground!

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 12:15

Oh ok then. Seeing as there was such a massive outcry for my return.

Petty LOVING Pom. I'm obsessed with all the characters names from Babar the Elephant .... Pompadour, Cornelius, Celeste, Zephir.

Actually there's a bit of an elephant theme going on. I like Nell for a girl. But as soon as I say it I start humming the song off she went with a trumpety trump, trump, trump, trump

Which coincidentally I have also been doing a lot of too trump, trump, trump. Especially at bed time. Poor dog DH.

marzipanned · 14/08/2013 12:28

Ooh I like Cornelius! Definitely passes the Percy test.

Actually, Cornelius Percival [surname] sounds quite good..

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 12:37

marzipanned if you think just one middle name will suffice you are very, very wrong! I have a four initial minimum!! The way things stand my little boy has the initials W.A.P.S though, DH loves it and thinks potential DS will too!?!? Oh the hilarity.

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 12:53

ah a CLUE! Wilfred Albert Percy? Walter Abraham Percy?

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 12:56

Wayne Axel Percy? I could go on.

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 13:00

Sooooooooo close, A* for effort.

Wish I hadn't built this up so much now.

Wilfred Arthur Percival.

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 13:03

oh I SO nearly put that. Love it. He's going to grow up to be a knight with a name like that, it's awesome.

marzipanned · 14/08/2013 13:04

Oh my God I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Okay, you better be having a boy.

We are definitely a 4 initial family too - I've got 4, DH has 5... we are dropping one of his surnames (surname that's become a middle name over the years) otherwise our baby would end up with 6...

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 13:09

Shropshire that is so cool! He need a knight outfit and a horse and everything!!!!! I can just see him riding around searching for maidens in distressGrinGrinGrin

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 13:13

OH MY GOD, my house is 400 years old and was built using the stone from a local castle IT ALL MAKES SOOOOO MUCH SENSE!!!

He is ACTUALLY going to be a knight.

I'm off to buy a round table whilst praying its not a girl (shit creek and paddle if so). X

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 13:14

And before you say, no, I do not like Guinevere for a girl.

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 13:14

I'm so excited!!! What's the girls name? It needs to live up to expectations now!

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 13:15

Will you call him willy for short?Grin

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 13:15

Marian for a girl? Wink

Can I have your house please? sounds awesome. Oh go on...

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 13:17

oh hang on - wrong fable.

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 13:17

(hormones)

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 13:19

Ok so - king Arthurs sister (I've not been on wikipedia honest) was Morgana le Fay

PLEASE! you have to!

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 13:26

There is no girls name Confused!

Apart from loving Nell. Cornelia?

Ooooh la la, might just add La Fay to whatever I chose. In fact might just add that to my name, Shropshire la Fay.

Oi laura, just because you're gagging for it stop dragging little Wilfys name into disrepute.

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 13:28

Grin Totally gagging!!!!

I'm eyeing up the big issue man in the town centre!

marzipanned · 14/08/2013 13:32

No not Morgana!! She was an evil witch who coerced Arthur into having incestuous sex with her!!

laura I'm sure Mr Big Issue would be well up for it.

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 13:33

Will if you want to append La Fay then it has to be Fifi

vix206 · 14/08/2013 13:43

In terms of names, DS has told me that this is a boy and that his name is George. He's been saying that for weeks. Luckily I happen to love the name, so if it is another boy I imagine we will go with that. DS is an Alexander so I think it goes together nicely. I am the least royalist person you will meet, by the way!! I'd like the middle name James as that is DHs name and I love it, but I doubt DH will agree (will say its arrogant to name him after himself)

If its a girl, I have no idea because there are literally hundreds of gorgeous girls names to choose from. I find boys easier since my list of names is very short and I like to go for 'good, solid' traditional names :)
