Treating myself to a bottle of fruit cider. It's never tasted so nice. Making it last me hours lol

Shropshiremummy2b · 13/08/2013 22:44

Fuck. You're all a bunch of twats. Percy is a middle name. I'm leaving. And taking Percy with me. And you can fuck off if you think I'm revealing the poor sods first name now!!!

Milkandtwo · 13/08/2013 22:47

Hahahahahahaha!

Milkandtwo · 13/08/2013 22:48

I'm not laughing at Percy btw, 'tis a fine and sexy moniker indeed.

Awkward.

laura0007 · 13/08/2013 22:58

So my guesses weren't right? Glad I didn't put money on them now! Smile We are a bunch of twats though you're right GrinThanks

Somanychanges · 13/08/2013 23:05

I was feeling in such a low mood but reading the thread tonight has had me laughing out load and wiping away tears of laughter. dawn you especially made me laugh so thanks for cheering me up.

Loving the names, even the more 'out there' ones.

It's my scan tomorrow morning FINALLY I think I am one of the last has felt like forever. Will check in after scan hopefully with good news.

Somanychanges · 13/08/2013 23:05

Out loud not load grrrrr!

Somanychanges · 14/08/2013 07:27

Morning all,

Wow I actually managed to sleep from 11pm until 5:45am without waking for a wee. Very happy with that apart from I couldn't get back to sleep. Looking forward to my scan Smile

vix206 · 14/08/2013 07:32

Good luck Somany! I hope it goes well today Grin

Timpani · 14/08/2013 09:16

Good luck somany

Absolutely rolling with laughter at some of your posts!

As for names, we have a girl's name sorted from last time (DS1 used or only ever liked boy's name!). We like names from the Thomas the Tank Engine collection ;) and he has one of those though not the 'usual' ones (and no he's not called Skarloey or Percy!! So names we like this time are hard but we're liking Edward (Ted/Teddy) and Henry. Won't use James as know a James who's a d*ck. haha. Also like Arthur.

Shropshiremummy2b · 14/08/2013 09:18

I'm only back to wish Somany good luck. I still hate you all.

tinypolkadot · 14/08/2013 09:24

Good luck somany!

HarlemWobble · 14/08/2013 09:24

Hello you chatty bunch! Have been popping in to catch up, but by the time I've read all the posts I've run out of time to actually post myself. Must try harder Grin

Don't get me started on names. Everything I like DH has vetoed and vice versa. Good job we have 6 months to decide! We're off to Greece in 5 weeks and will use that time to put together a shortlist. Fingers crossed it doesn't cause too many arguments!

Petty I love Sian as a middle name, but I'm biased Wink

Good luck with your scan Somany Smile

ChocoFrog · 14/08/2013 09:29

Is he called Sir Handel then Timpani?

Good luck somany

I like Flora for a girl, as one of my favourite books is Cold Comfort Farm, but it even makes me think of a tub of margarine so I think I'll have to re think!

15 weeks yay!

littlestgirlguide · 14/08/2013 09:44

I had a friend at Uni who everyone called Flora... Because it spreads easily.... Bless her she didn't deserve that, she was lovely.

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 09:45

Yes Choco and I had the rather unfortunate nickname at school of 'flora spreadable' for reasons completely unknown Blush or maybe not so unknown as the case may be lol!

misskatamari · 14/08/2013 10:42

Has anyone else had sharp pains? I've had some just come on. First instinct is to freak out obvs but rational brain knows its probably normal. Could it be round ligament pain?

laura0007 · 14/08/2013 10:55

Yes like someone is stabbing you? I get that mainly when I stretch, it feels like I've just snapped something!

Milkandtwo · 14/08/2013 10:59

the worst for me is sneezing when I'm curled up. Brings on the most incredible sharp cramp for about 30 seconds! presuming that's all ligament stuff...

misskatamari · 14/08/2013 11:02

Yep that's what it's like. Was horrid! It's gone now thankfully! Gosh being pregnant is just one long ride of new symptoms and worrying isnt it!

misskatamari · 14/08/2013 11:03

So glad we have this thread to hear that everyone else is going through the same!

pettyprudence · 14/08/2013 11:18

Aw shropshire so long as the first name isn't Pomroy as I want that but daren't (also, it wouldn't work with Percy) Grin. I could nn him Pom, Pommy bear or Roy. No sexiness to my boys name! My sons will never love another woman as much as me

I woke up at 5am with such awful cramping.... which was wind Blush I do remember first time round having to crack open the window and windeze! Seriously, who knew that wind could be so painful????

jazzcat28 · 14/08/2013 11:21

shropshire don't ignore us please come back, Percy is a fab name... and if you're using it as a middle name it doesn't need to be yelled out in the throws of passion either....!

Mild panic this morning as none of my normal work trousers do up anymore, even the big ones from before I lost weight. Normal tights very uncomfy. But have squeezed into some and wearing a wrap dress which just accentuates my tummy and makes me look about 6 months pg. Off on a mission tonight to find maternity tights (and buy more maternity trousers!)

Had a VERY vivid dream last night that I was introducing my son to my grandparents and called him George. DH not keen he thinks it's a weak name and too faddy what with the royal baby.
