Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm hungry and sick and I can't think of a single thing I fancy. Not even noodles! And if I don't eat something I'm going to feel even worse. Bleurgh. Fuck this!

LyraSilvertongue · 10/08/2013 22:39

Hehe. Look what I started Grin

rosyryan · 10/08/2013 22:58

Frosties. The midnight feast of champions.

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 23:04

What a lovely, pragmatic message, Pirate, fanks Smile

Rockchick1984 · 10/08/2013 23:37

Pram I'm an only child and it was amazing growing up, I never wanted siblings!! Always said I'd only have one because I loved it so much, unfortunately I decided after having DS that I wanted another baby because I'm selfish but please don't think your little bean will miss out on anything if you don't give them a sibling!!!

SoSurprised · 11/08/2013 06:16

Rosyryan we are having the exact same symptoms. How far along are you?

Teddybear4 · 11/08/2013 07:20

Thank goodness I missed Noodle-gate! I am however loving the relaxation of the peanut rules and crumpets with peanut butter are the order of the day!

Pram, a good friend of mine could only have one. She has so much more time and patience with her little girl than I have for my kids. I think the benefits her little girl gets from that time and patience equal the benefits my kids have from each others company. She never gets bites, scratches or whacked round the head with a lightsaber and I'm not sure a sibling could claim such a thing... You'll be grand I'm sure of it.

I might have to go shopping today. I am going on holiday next week and can only do my shorts up with the help of a hair bobble...

firsttimekat · 11/08/2013 09:04

Just caught up on the thread and feeling like noodles and sushi for breakfast now!

Told a couple of friends I'm preggo and they were really lovely about it, none of them have kids yet so thought I might scare them off... Just hope my mum responds as well when I tell her today.

Bean is called buggiba here, it's a town in Malta where we were when we first thought we were preggo.

HamwidgeAlive · 11/08/2013 09:50

I've had bran flakes. Not quite noodles but it'll do for now. Seems to be the only thing I can keep down in the morning!

Grey I PMd you. On my way over Pram!

Volleyfeet · 11/08/2013 09:55

Hello everyone! Can't believe how many posts have been added since I last looked!

Sorry to hear some people's sad news. Thinking about you.

My scan is due on 27th August so seems to be in the middle of the scan dates. Have had really bad nausea and vomiting, 6 times on Thursday was a particular low! Desperately hoping that weeks 9-10 are the worst and it will start to settle soon! Otherwise am impatiently waiting to hit 12 weeks and being able to have an explanation for being so tired and grumpy!

No name for bean yet, think DH still finds it all very abstract as apart from throwing up all the time I look no different!

mimili · 11/08/2013 10:22

Has everyone now got a scan date? I feel like I am the only person without one.

Just finished catching up on the threads to head downstairs to find PIL's who are staying and hubby have gone out!! There is no note or anything!! Shock Actually I'm happy - back to bedGrin

rosyryan · 11/08/2013 10:31

SoSurprised I'm 7+6. Time is dragging!

FrankelInFoal · 11/08/2013 10:40

I still don't have a scan date mimili Angry

Slept a ridiculous amount yesterday - 2 hour post-dinner nap then went to bed and slept for another 10 hours Grin

rescoonetwothree · 11/08/2013 10:51

so many scans on the 27th!

hope you get yours soon frank and mimili, is there anyone you can chase?

FrankelInFoal · 11/08/2013 11:10

I'm going to call my midwife tomorrow to chase the date up. I'm sure it is all in hand but it can't hurt to follow things up.

SoSurprised · 11/08/2013 11:14

Mimili you aren't the only one. I haven't got one yet either

SoSurprised · 11/08/2013 11:15

rosy I am 11 weeks today :/ I hope I am towards the end of the nausea vomiting

LyraSilvertongue · 11/08/2013 11:46

Do I have baguette and Brie for (late) breakfast or two bowls of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes? I can't do one bowl, has to be two Grin

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 11/08/2013 12:08

Not Brie! It's on the banned list!!

PiratesMam · 11/08/2013 12:10

If we lived in France it wouldn't be Confused I'm so desperate for a brie and onion chutney baguette

HotCrossPun · 11/08/2013 12:14

Oh Pirates that does sound tempting.

It's only 12 oclock in the afternoon but I've got a real hankering for Prosecco. You always want what you can't have don't you!

I say March 2014 should be Prosecco month. We can come on here and raise a glass for each baby that is born. Twill be a hoot!

MummyPig24 · 11/08/2013 12:15

Oh god I just feel horrendous today. Sick, tired, dizzy, breathless. I'm useless today.

LyraSilvertongue · 11/08/2013 12:18

Pasteurised Brie is fine. I bought some last night Smile

Rockchick1984 · 11/08/2013 12:23

Lyra have you checked with the midwife about it? Just that dr google says its still unsafe during pregnancy (although I know its not always correct :) )

littleABI · 11/08/2013 12:27
