Hi everyone.

It's such a miserable day here today. Wet and windy. It doesn't help that I'm sick.

Ds had a great day yesterday and got so spoilt. Although we have had to unplug the quad as its doing my head in today. Trying to persuade him to play with the rest of the toys.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

keepitgoing · 15/09/2013 16:11

Oh great, I'm on the wrong freaking bus :(

pen glad yesterday went well.

Will message sparks if I ever when I get home.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/09/2013 18:00

Oh no Keep! Where were you trying to go going?

Pen it's miserable here too. Spent all day in a blanket on the sofa. MrM is cooking himself a roast and is under the impression he is going to make me eat some.....

keepitgoing · 15/09/2013 18:18

Aw, well even if you have a tiny bit...
Was coming home, but got confused. Ah well :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/09/2013 18:20

Oh no! Are you home now? You poor thing!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/09/2013 18:24

Oh Keep hope you got home ok. Maybe still no better? You will be soon, I promise! BrewBrew for you both.

Pen sounds like DS had a great day :) tis Toddly boos next week, he's having his party the week after! I think some sort of post natal madness has set in, I've got him a bloody drum kit Shock Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/09/2013 18:33

Boo, are you mad??!! Or are you planning on taking yourself of for a little 'me time' every playtime Grin what's the theme for his party? I bet he is so excited!

No, I'm no better. I had an hour of no nausea earlier, and I got so excited! Only for it to return with a vengeance. But I will very happily accept that Brew

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/09/2013 20:21

I think I might be Maybe, he will love it though! He's having a racing car party (joint party with his best friend) they have little racing cars, bouncy castle and slide and a soft play area for the little ones :) I can't wait :):):) even if I'm seeing checkered flags in my sleep

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/09/2013 20:24

Oh and yes he's beside himself with excitement, every bloody morning for the last 2 chuffing weeks we have had the same sodding conversation 'is it my party today' 'no Toddly it's a bit longer yet' 'is it my birthday tomorrow' 'no Toddly it's in xx sleeps time' 'oh ok mummy' Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/09/2013 20:44

Oh, I love him!! He's going to have the best time Grin

keepitgoing · 15/09/2013 21:24

Aw, is he coming on Sunday?
Am home fine. V tired and off to bed ready for work. maybe you're still signed off for next week, yes? Did you even manage a few mouthfuls of roast?

Have been slightly terrified by friend's non-sleeping much-crying 1yo. The 3yo is v good, and they thought it was their parenting and were smug, only to get no 2... Argh, brooking our babies will be good 'uns...

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/09/2013 21:28

Keep he's not this time, just me and K. He gets very bored very fast and I want to enjoy a chat and policy with you all Wink

keepitgoing · 15/09/2013 21:38

Grin yes I expect he's rather...demanding! But yay to baby cuddles - am sure you won't see much of K!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/09/2013 22:25

Keep we are having brooking babies. They come with a perfect sleep manual. Don't they?!

I'm calling GP again tomorrow, my initial certificate was for 2 weeks, but she said she would extend it. I had a toast potato and that was my lot. I can't abide meat at the moment. Or veg. Or fish.....

Boo I'd keep your eye on baby K in case she accidentally finds herself in someone's handbag....Wink

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/09/2013 22:39

We'll she is rather scrumptious Wink

Of course brooking babies come with a sleep manual, as well as an off button and self cleaning bums Grin do not look on the post grads thread! :)

SweetieTime · 16/09/2013 07:58

Boo I cannnot wait to see how much K has changed, she was such a teeny tiny baby last time I saw her. And of course meeting R in person too who look a little cutie pie in every photo Sparks posts.

Keep I have similar fear on the new arrival too. My biggest fear by far is the lack of sleep. I just don't know how I will get through it especially if it is prolonged. I know we will get through it as we have to but it does worry me scare me rigid at times
We went out for Sunday lunch yesterday with my family including DB and his 2 kids plus DH niece. I am not sure how patient I will be as a parent. The constant getting down from the table, crawling under the table, sulking when told to behave really did my head in. DH has a theory that when they are your own you shut off from it and you have evolved with the situation rather than dropped in to the lives of a 5, 7 & 11 year olds. I hope he is right as it is a bit late now if not!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 18:00

Brrrr. I've made you all Brew and Cake to warm you up. Autumn is here brookers, and I'm excited Smile

keepitgoing · 16/09/2013 18:21

Autumn? Then kip, dib and dab won't be long.

sweetie I am such an impatient person... I hope your dh is right...

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/09/2013 18:36
