Lie = Your glowing vs Truth = Your sweating, freezing, puking and an emotional basket!

Lie = After the first trimester your ms will disappear vs The truth = It will be there in the second trimester and the third..... and probably after you give birth! Get used to it!

Lie = You don't look even look pregnant vs The truth = whatever, you look pregnant from space!

Lets see what we learn from the second trimester! Grin Wink

Your neighbour skins horrible Bunt. If it makes you feel any better, my BIL and his partner have been maliciously reported quite a few times by her family who don't approve of their relationship. SS let them know each time it happens but always tell them that they don't have an concerns. Unfortunately I think they get a lot of those kinds of calls!

MrsGSR · 19/07/2013 20:36

*sounds not skins!

BuntCadger · 19/07/2013 20:39

The sw said she didn't have concerns but I feel so stressed by it all :( can't be good for the kids or zom (baby). I'm just so upset to the point I want to move

SarahJayne321 · 19/07/2013 21:03

Thanks humpty ill have a look x they do
Yes, my boss is also a family member. Ouch huh.

Bunt that's awful, ill have a look for the thread now

MrsVDB · 19/07/2013 21:09

bunt that's awful. What a nasty cow

SarahJayne321 · 19/07/2013 22:32

bunt what a bloody malicious cow!!!! Please don't get upset by this, easier said than done I know xxxx

Sultanajo · 20/07/2013 07:10

Grrrr bunt! She sounds like a very bitter and twisted person! We had a neighbour like her when I was growing up - she didnt have the guts to talk to our parents, but she branded all of us kids as out of control hooligans and told me on numerous occassions how disappointed my parents must be in me! Stupid bitch!

It must be awful to live so close to her bunt. I am not surprised you are upset! Can u stick up a 6ft fence so u cant see her when you are in the garden? She will definitely be looking for a reaction, so if u can restrain yourself and ignore her she will hopefully get bored and move onto someone else....Thanks

Sultanajo · 20/07/2013 07:13

Yet again, the one day I can lie in I am wide awake!!! Hmmm, what to do today....stay out of the heat!!! Ended up having a mini nap yesterday after doing all my chores because the heat wiped me out! May as well do my cleaning now while its still cool and then....look at reviews of prams and baby monitors! Grin Grin Grin

BuntCadger · 20/07/2013 08:19

Thanks lovely ladies. Feel daft as I actually want to move as I can't see her relenting.

On a Smile note, I'm fairly sure I've been feeling Zom dancing around.

MrsVDB · 20/07/2013 08:28

Wow bunt how exciting!!! How far gone are you?

I think I've been getting ligament pain since 13 week exactly. Especially when I'm walking around

MrsVDB · 20/07/2013 08:30

Also have any of you looked into the nub theory? I'm 99% mines a girl looking At scan picture. This is what I thought as soon as got bfp but recently have been calling it freddy (build a bear related story!)

Pop2014 · 20/07/2013 08:51

Bunt, sorry about stupid neighbours!!!
Ou how exciting feeling movement! I've got an anterior placenta so will probably have to wait a while longer for that 1st kick.

MrsVbd I have been obsessing over the nub theory for the past month, looking at millions of nub scans, but i still cant tell with mineHmm. I can't wait to know because I really want to start shopping.

Hope everyone else is ok I cant remember anything else specificConfused. Stay strong in this heat, im finding it quit hard to cope! But hopefully only another week of it.

Ou, any news keski? Fx for you.

enormouse · 20/07/2013 08:53

MrsVDB what's the nub theory?
Bunt what a cow!
MrABC I had a terrible time with m&s. Insisted a 34A/B would do as they didn't stock maternity/nursing 28Ds. I felt crap trying it on.

Does anyone know if pods set up the new thread yet? Or is she under orders not to. Smile

am taking DS to a teddy bears picnic today. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

lovelilies · 20/07/2013 08:55

Sorry about your stupid neighbors bunt.
What's the nub theory?! We could have found out from the CVS but OH doesn't want to know Sad
I'd like to have a guess from this theory though Grin Grin

Sultanajo · 20/07/2013 08:57

Omg bunt! Thats so exciting! How would u describe it? This morning I have been wondering the same thing. Am 17+1 today and while cleaning the bathroom I was feeling what I can only describe as tiny bubbles - then again when I was eating my breakfast I had the same feeling. Now it could be wind....but I have never felt it like this before. Trying not to get too excited as its bubba, number one....will just have to see if it keeps happening....

Sultanajo · 20/07/2013 08:58

mrsv whats the nub theory?

Pop2014 · 20/07/2013 09:17

The nub theory is a way of predicting your baby's gender from the 12 week ultrasound scan.

'The nub theory is basically about 'the angle of the dangle'. Between 11 and 14 weeks' gestation both genders have a penis-like protuberance between the legs. They look incredibly similar at this point, except for the angle at which they are pointing. Sometimes there are males and females at this stage which are in the 'grey area', but essentially a boy's 'dangle' is 30 degrees up relative to the backbone and a girl's is below 30 degrees.'

Sultanajo · 20/07/2013 09:23

Ah thanks pop. Cant see my little wrigglers nub on my scan pic, so that will stop me obsessing!,Grin

enormouse · 20/07/2013 09:52

I think there might be a nub but then I was staring at the scan for a long time. I may have imagined a nub into being there. I'll get DP to have a look.

Thanks for the explanation pop. I love 'angle of the dangle' Smile

enormouse · 20/07/2013 10:34

Ok so, persuaded my very cynical 'is this even scientific?' DP to look for the nub. He did after a lot of complaint and thinks it's a girl.

Then he looked at my grey, icky complexion and greasy hair and said "that does look about right".

I may kill him, but after the teddy bears picnic. No need to spoil DS's day.

Penny31 · 20/07/2013 11:04

bunt I'm furious with your neighbour! I admire your restraint, I think I'd have gone and had words with them! I wouldn't be aggressive or anything. Id actually be sickly sweet and say i hope her mind is now at rest after the terrible misunderstanding. How embarrassing for her that she got something so wrong and wasted SS precious time when they could have been investigating proper child abuse. I'm also sorry her life is so boring she has to invent stuff! Grrrrrrr

I think I also felt the odd movement but its very occasional at the minute. It's very exciting. Im 18+1 today! 2 weeks until anomaly scan. We have gone from definitely having a surprise to definitely wanting to know the sex! I think it will help us bond better. The downside is I will buy way more clothes!

Had a bit of a childish strop this morning. Our house is tiny and I'm desperate to move. We have 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom. 1 nice sizelounge and a kitchen that only has room for a 2 seater table. I have no storage left and to make room for a nursery we need to get rid of the PC and desk. The house is cute with a very nice sized garden though. We could try and move before Xmas but I think it's cutting it fine, don't you? That means we have to wait until I'm back at work this time next year because I doubt we'd get a mortgage when I'm on maternity? next year we will have a dependant so mortgage offer will be lower. Also, we don't have room to entertain the endless visitors we will get when baby arrives. I love having people round but any more than 2 at a time is impossible.

Gosh I'm being very materialistic here and sound like a right spoilt brat! Sorry for that I'm just starting to hate the house and need someone to tell me to get a grip!

Sultanajo · 20/07/2013 13:25

enormouse that totally cracked me up! After the teddybears picnic! Grin

penny its so hard when the space you have isnt ideal or what you want it to be! Have you talked it through with your DH? What does he think? My mate sold her house and actually completed and moved 2 weeks after bubba was born, so it can be done.... You are in a bit of a catch 22 position at the moment.

DH and I spent the morning confusing ourselves, looking at Which reviews of travel systems! My head feels much fuggier than it did when we started! Can anyone recommend any?

qumquat · 20/07/2013 14:07

Defo recommend bravissimo or John Lewis for bra measuring. M and S always comes up way too big in the back and small in the cup. I'm a 30h and for years m and s had me something like a 36d or dd, looked and felt awful; now I love my boobs!

MrsVDB · 20/07/2013 14:18

First baby purchase made!!! All the big things are too confusing so I just opted for this cute cardy.
