Lie = Your glowing vs Truth = Your sweating, freezing, puking and an emotional basket!

Lie = After the first trimester your ms will disappear vs The truth = It will be there in the second trimester and the third..... and probably after you give birth! Get used to it!

Lie = You don't look even look pregnant vs The truth = whatever, you look pregnant from space!

Lets see what we learn from the second trimester! Grin Wink

Ekkk, loads to catch up on (why am I always shocked! Lol!)

Book so sorry about the shits who broke into your garage! As Toby says they can fuck off! Great thought that you are seeing a nurse to get swabbed! What is up with GPs sometimes!!!

Frizz glad you have contacted your MW. I still knicker check on a "pee by pee" basis and even sometimes when I feel something down below I run and check! Don't think I will ever stop! I know people who have bled throughout pregnancy and some who have had nothing at all. As my MW said, it's not "normal" but is very common and often it's nothing to worry about. At least you made contact and made her aware. Fingers crossed it goes again quickly. It's so stressful! Even without bleeding now at 14+5, I am finding things to stress about! As you say, I was hoping to relax a bit after the 12 week scan, but I have resigned myself to constantly worrying now....

Frog loving the mouse in a bag! So thoughtful! Grrrrr scangate! It's unbelievable! Can you call them???

Frying I felt your rage about the zoo! The kids you can kind of forgive, but the adults - that's just frickin disgusting! People are sometimes sooooo unaware of others around them, it really gets on my tits!!! Fantastic news re: the doppler. I am really tempted to give it another go myself today, but I know I will stress if I don't find it, but am really tempted as it's nearly two weeks until MW appointment!

Penny31 · 03/07/2013 16:49

Have we heard for Toby?

Penny31 · 03/07/2013 16:49

From not for

Sultanajo · 03/07/2013 17:14

MrsAVB grrrr your maternity leave issues! I completely agree and you should totally wait until they sort their shit out before giving them answers! Fuckwits!

Toby ekkkk good luck for today!!! Loving your rage post earlier! Brilliant! Grin

Pod what a horrible nightmare! Am having some really vivid dreams at the moment too - some quite nice and some horrific! I too am a complete wus and can't believe I actually fantastised about a HB! Will be back to freaking out later I am sure! These hormones are doing funny things!

Enjoying congratulations on your wiggling scan! Woop woop!!!

MrsGSR OMG - your dream! No wonder you are going to look for a travel cot!

Enormouse we are definitely going to be going for neutral colours so we can use them again if needed! Go for it!

Apparently you have tons on, plus the crazy hormones! Don't feel you are alone in your feelings! I certainly have good days and bad days where the hormones are concerned - at some point you won't need so much sleep and everything will hopefully feel much better. (That's what I am hoping anyway). Glad you have some support!

Betty woop woop! Another great scan! How exciting! So happy for you!!!

MrsRA vomming on your plate with no notice sucks! Poor you! Perhaps the flueyness is making it so much worse! Really hope you start feeling better soon!

MrsVDB · 03/07/2013 17:29

All of mn is going to hate me!! Just randomly touched a lady at works pregnant belly!!!

Toothfairy78 · 03/07/2013 19:23

Oh dear MrsV! Where's your solidarity? Grin

DH has said if anyone touches my bump he wouldn't be surprised if I have them doubled over with their arm up their back. He must think I'm intolerant or something!

So were they bothered by it?

Toothfairy78 · 03/07/2013 19:25

toby loving the rage! You could hire yourself out as a special rage assassin, you know going round putting cuntpuffins right back in their place or into submission!

fryingpantoface · 03/07/2013 19:30

Anyone heard from Toby?

Penny31 · 03/07/2013 19:31

I'm worried about toby....?

chocoloulou33 · 03/07/2013 19:54

Was also on here looking for toby's update. Hope all is ok x

enormouse · 03/07/2013 20:02

Ick, I hated being touched by strangers when I was pg. Felt like yelling "I'm not a lucky buddha!" It's bearable when it's people you know or have asked permission, beforehand. But random touching shudders

Hope you're ok Toby x.

Sultanajo · 03/07/2013 20:10

Hmmmm....Toby really hope you are ok. Keeping everything crossed.

Sultanajo · 03/07/2013 20:22

frying I gave in and tried my doppler just now and was shocked to find it first time - counted 150bpm. Wow! Hope that will now keep me going until midwife appointment on the 16th! Grin

TobyLerone · 03/07/2013 20:24

Sorry, all! I have had an utter bitch of a day. I'll catch up properly later, but everything was fine :) NT measurement was 1.7 and everything looked normal (apart from the fibroids, the largest of which has grown by over 1cm in the last 4 weeks, and one of which is entirely blocking my cervix at the moment. Grrrr!).

Sultanajo · 03/07/2013 20:30

Tobylerone! Dont do that to us! I was partly concerned in case you had decked bitchface and were now in a police cell! So pleased your bean is good! What have they said about the fibroids? Are they just going to continue to monitor them?

MrsVDB · 03/07/2013 20:31

Glad you're ok toby

I know it's awful, I'd hate it if anyone did it to me!! It was just instinctive!! She said she was pregnant (over 6 months) and I just reached out and groped it! It was so awkward I could have died!

Just been to an early pregnancy open evening at the hospital and spoke to the most lovely midwife from the birth centre who said we could go for a look around but 5 mins later she got a call saying all rooms were full so not to send us over. Plenty more time for a nosey!

Penny31 · 03/07/2013 20:36

Phew toby we were getting worried! Glad everything is ok!

TobyLerone · 03/07/2013 20:39

I'm so sorry to have worried you all!

The ultrasound dept was running over an hour late. Then the baby wouldn't co-operate and I had to go and have a wee and wriggle around a bit to see if it would move. Then I had to get bloods done. I was there for 3 hours in the end.

Then I had to drive 1.5 hours to take DH to his mum's and come home again.

Then when I got home, DD had hurt her arm and I had to take her to A&E. Another 3 hours in the hospital. Got home just after 7pm after having left for the scan at 11.30am. I actually cried in the hospital when they sent her for the 2nd set of x-rays because the first ones were the wrong ones. I was exhausted and starving and so annoyed. I cried quietly, obv. But there were tears all the same.

Sultanajo · 03/07/2013 20:47

Oh Toby! It all happens at once doesnt it! You poor thing! Not surprised you ended the day in tears! Is your DD OK? Really sounds like the day from hell! Sad

Naturegirl82 · 03/07/2013 20:49

Goodness toby you have had an eventful day. Glad your scan went well and I hope your dd is ok.

So I just came across this and thought it very apt for this thread. Made me chuckle!

Argh I'll get there eventually!

Frizz1986 · 03/07/2013 20:56

Omg toby I have been trying to check the thread ever few mins as noticed u hadn't posted and was worried. Sorry it has been such a tough day, but so happy ur scan went well.
Am jealous of those hearing a heartbeat. When do u get to hear it normally? Is it the 20 week scan?
I def don't think this whole sickness getting better at 12-14 weeks is true. Mine has been at its worst since I hit 11 weeks and it seems that everyone else has found it has worsened too. Sorry to those vomming without warning in awkward places. Be some great stories for when the kids grow up.... You made me vom in my bag! Etc lol.

Am just chilling on the sofa whilst Dh walks the pooch as midwife told me to rest as much as poss. I told my boss about the spotting and she was really nice and told me to let her know if i needed help with work.
Spotting seems to have stopped as have the cramps. Fully expect them to return at some point as at 8 weeks the spotting lasted about 24 hours and was intermittent.

Tried to book my 16 week midwife app but they don't have the appointments available yet as the manager who sorts them is off this week. Have to call next week. Will be booking my 20 week scan tomorrow tho as I have to book within 7 days of my 12 week scan. All seems a bit too soon to me.

bettyboo83 · 03/07/2013 21:01

frizz the sonographer let me listen to the heartbeat today at my 12 week scan otherwise it's after 16 weeks with a Doppler with my midwife.
