I haven't found a Feb 2007 thread yet so thought I'd start one. Just found out I was pregnant on Monday so it is very early days still - but so exciting nonetheless. The due date calculators generally say I am due on 1 Feb, with on churning out 31 Jan and another 4 Feb. I thought it was more like 15 Feb but I will find our more at my first doctor's appointment on 15 June.

My stats:
me 28
dh 35
first baby
due 31/01 or 1/02 or 4/02 or 15/02 ???? (take your pick!)

Anyone want to join me?

Hi peachygirl. You'd be 1 wk pg at the 22nd, 2wks at the 29th, 3wks at the 5th Jun, 4wks at the 12th June and 5 wks on Monday. hope that makes sense.

ssshh · 17/06/2006 14:11

I think i might be joining you...

Only cd 28 today and AF can be anywhere between 3 - 6 weeks. But I'm so impatient... just tested with an old clear blue test that was in back of cupboard. Didn't even have instructions for it so had to look up on internet to see what it meant - faint but definite line in square window and one in round window..

So i'm pregnant aren't I?

Really can't believe it. This is our first month of trying and i haven't felt any different so didn't think i was preg. Had a few glasses of wine last night which i'm now regretting..

Just cannot believe it. Think i'll test again in a few days, but a line is a line eh?

Means I'm due 24th February.

Oh my total goodness!

maazaa · 17/06/2006 16:42

Hello Sshhh!! Go and buy a digital one! No quibble! We did two boots ones first. Had two windows - one was the "Test works " window with one line and the other had a horizontal negative line and the faintest of faint vertical positive line, ie a cross. We went for the clearblue digi and it said PREGNANT in the display. GO NOW!!!!! Grin

ChiTownLady · 17/06/2006 16:43

congrats shhhhh....

i've had an awful 24 hrs and ended up being put on anti nausea medication yesterday as everything got so bad - luckily here in US happy to give you stuff it hasnt taken all the nausea away but has certainlt made me able to function. My poor ds had to entertain himself all afternoon with pretty minimm and miseable input from me - plus he had no tea - he ate 2 weetabix this morning to make up!

really dreading the next few weeks.... was intears again yesterday like first time round thinking god what have i done...just hope things don't get any worse

suzi2 · 17/06/2006 19:11

many congrats shhhhh...

but a wee word of warning... some of the clearblue ones require 2 lines in the 'pregnancy' window that form a cross. One is horizontal and the pg one is vertical. Try a digital one in a couple of days!

P.S. you're due on my DHs birthday - a good day!

suzi2 · 17/06/2006 20:26

Anyone feeling really 'unpregnant'? I'm worrying myself as I've had odd bouts of nausea and sore boobs. But the last 2 days I have felt perfectly normal. I did think that the nausea was nerves... bu I'm still worrying! I'm only 5+2 so early days for symptoms anyway.

peachygirl · 17/06/2006 20:46

me me. I have tender boobs and have felt a bit queasy (as if I don't fancy anything).I am tempted to use the other test in the packet tomorrow to double check!it all feel a bit unreal too.
chitownmum really sorry to hear you are suffereing with the MS. I hope you feel better soon
Thanks for answer to question.

maazaa · 17/06/2006 22:12

Evening all. Glad you on meds now Chi, hope they help soon - are you managing fluids?

I'm feeling really weird. No morning sickness (previous nausea gone after returning to work- see previous threads). Boobs are still ridiculous but nothing else. Even stopped the dramatic weeping although I am still prone to being moody. Anyone with previous ds or dd that can advise? I know 20-30% of women don't get M/S. My appetite is pigeon small but that could just be the heat. Am just SOOOOOOOOOOO paranoid. :(

mumtodylan · 17/06/2006 22:18

flowertot · 18/06/2006 07:36

Hello! CAn I join please. BFP on Friday. 2nd baby, DD nearly 3, me 38 so risks high, but better to remain positive. What will be will be but want to enjoy pregnancy as much as poss, even thought feeling really nauseous already. When should I go see doc? They aren't interested at 4 weeks are they, maybe 7 or 8?

titchy77 · 18/06/2006 09:37

Me too suzi2 i keep thinking do i really feel pregnant or not? I am tired but have always been like that, had no sickness, and my boobs aren't that sore.
When i had my missed m/c i remember i woke up one day and didnt feel pregnant anymore thou didn't act on it as thought i was being paranoid. This is what scares me most as we want it so much, looked into paying for a private scan as dont think the epu will give me one, just to put our minds at rest but i dont think that will happen till our babys here.

TuttiFrutti · 18/06/2006 09:38

Welcome flowertot! I remember you from the Positive June thread. I am 38 too (well, 39 next week) so I know how you're feeling about the extra risks. When I had ds 2 years ago, I was really worried about the prospect of amnio/CVS, but in the end I got a good nuchal test result so didn't go for invasive testing. This time round of course my risks are higher, so I will investigate the tests available at the Fetal Medicine Centre in London - I think they have a series of non-invasive tests there.

Maazaa, don't worry about the lack of morning sickness. I had no sickness at all last time, although am feeling slightly queasy at the moment.

teabags · 18/06/2006 20:32

Hello again
I also have no sickness or pregnancy symptoms. I half wish I did! this is my 2nd, but I'm worried as I have a constant aching in my lower stomach. Is this normal? Never had it last time. It is not really painful, I'm just aware of some discomfort . (I'm at 5 weeks)
Flowertot - I don't think it's too soon to see your Doc. I'm going this week to discuss the above and to just get myself 'in the system' for scan dates etc

Rachee · 18/06/2006 20:43

teabags · 18/06/2006 21:07

Hi Rachee and congrats!
Yes I've also read this can all be perfectly normal but, well it's hard not to worry isn't it?
I'm hoping my Dr will be sympathetic.

this is my 2nd pregnancy although I've not given my stats previously, so here goes:

me: 33
dh: 35
ds: 1
due: 19 Feb

Rachee · 18/06/2006 21:15

i have just started a ' cramps and spotting in early pregnancy' thread in the pregnancy section, getting some good replies.....

peachygirl · 18/06/2006 21:41

Hi
I've also experienced 'aching' type pains almost as if I have a bloated tummy from AF or eaten too much it's not constant but twingey. I work with someone whio is currently 10 weeks PG and she says it's things starting to stretch. It is hard not to worry. I had three days spotting which was now obviously implantation. I'm shocked at the amount of CN I'm getting which I know is just 'plugging everything in'
I feel sort of queasy - my neighbours were cooking a curry this lunchtime (they are from Jamaicia I think) and it smelled really awful (it doesn't usually smell too bad)
I told my parents today. My mum was realy pleased although I was a bit emotional on the phone. My Dad a bit dazed and confused due to my mum demanding he get out of bed and him rushing to find his false teeth!

Munz · 18/06/2006 21:43

Shock feb 07 eh! I was on the march 06 but Joey came in feb 06 - fab itme of year girls! stock up on blankets and a few good snow suits! :o good luck everyone.

bigsurprise · 18/06/2006 23:59

gosh, we're a well-populated thread! I feel very queasy now - have done all evening. I suspect folic acid tabs, I took one on an empty stomach. I cant wait to get out of the first trimester, the worst bit IME

I have had spottingi n all my pregnancies including this one, and some bloody awful cramps too. It is very common and although it is alarming it doesnt mean anything is wrong.

womba1 · 19/06/2006 00:05

Womba xx
