tooth I had the same issue and took a gamble on amazon and amazingly my jeans fit with a belt.... I have such a hard time finding clothes normally as am always between sizes so really surprised! Will post the link when I find it....

Sultanajo · 15/06/2013 21:18

Well done humpty - you properly derserve massive amounts of rest! What an achievement!

enormouse thats amazeballs! Fantastic! Wine for you!!! Bet you are floating on air!!!

book I feel for you! What a fabbie midwife you have! Thats very reassuring....Thanks

Mac2014 · 15/06/2013 21:19

bunt that is dire! I'm sure you'll be able to sort it ... Particularly if you give them the full force of your pregnancy rage!

humpty fantastic - glad you made it through you conference.

pea yay for your fab scan news!!

tooth asos maternity have a really good range of stuff too

enormous whoooooop! You must be over the moon, a first is amazing!

Hope all of you are coping with MS today. I've just been eating my way through it and have realised I'm going to be more of a Catherine zeta jones sort of pregnant, putting on 3 or 4 stone. In my head I was going to have a neat bump rather than the more whalesque proportions I'm developing! Grin

bettyboo83 · 15/06/2013 21:20

Well done enormouse!!

Last pregnancy I got most stuff from Asos or New Look and my bottom is def more J Lo than Victoria Beckham! Blush

I have told work already as I'm a nurse so there are some things I can't do (x-rays, etc). There is a girl I work with who has the exact same due date as me! I wonder if she's on here???

Sultanajo · 15/06/2013 21:22

Well just about made it thru the evening with DH and his mate. Have left them to it downstairs and gone to bed. Great to be able to slip off early and them not think I am weird because its only 9pm. Grin They both had homemade pizzas with the works and I managed to force down most of a cheese and ham toastie and some pureed apple, so that was something. Smile

Off to sleep now - cant keep my eyes open. Not looking forward to tomorrow nights party, but hopefully we can slip off early now the family know I am preggers.....Confused

Sleep well gorgeous ladies! Xx

BookTart · 15/06/2013 21:26

Congratulations enormouse, that's fabulous news!

Thanks pea, that is a reassuring statistic :) I'm sure if there was really a problem the sonographer would have said something, and definitely wouldn't have played it out loud for me twice. Having Googled extensively (which is always an excellent idea, as we all know) I reckon it was about 120ish, so not so bad really. If it does mean it is a girl mythreeknights then partner will be thrilled!

sultanajo Fantastic midwife also referred me for an early appointment with a consultant about my knackered cervix without me even having to ask. Either she is amazing, or she just didn't want to upset the crazy lady. Either way, I win :)

humpty, will you get a chance to take a break now? You must be knackered!

LittlePeaPod · 15/06/2013 21:58

You are welcome Book. Smile

Really chuffed just received an email accepting me onto this new MW trail.... Gin. Yeaaaaaaa

Sultana, you're all about the apples, aren't you? Wink We watched Despicable Me yesterday and every time the bank manager guy crushed an apple, I could practically taste one! And we didn't have any.

enormouse, well done! Fantastic news.

humpty & mythree, well done on surviving! :o

Great news on your scans, pod & book :)

Sorry if I've missed anyone. It's early! I've been awake for an hour already :(

My mw is coming round today. Must hoover before she comes!

Went to a family BBQ yesterday. 3pm nausea was right on time and I felt awful when we got there at 4.30. It passed for long enough for me to shove down 2 pittas with grilled halloumi, then came back with a vengeance. DH had a good time, though. He got to talk geeky shit with my sister's bf and his mate :o

Sultanajo · 16/06/2013 08:25

book - win win then! Lol!

pod thats fantastic! How excited are you???

Toby apples are about the only fruit I can eat without them trying to kill me, so am very much all about them! Wink Well done getting through your BBQ. I can imagine how you were feeling! Good luck tidying up for the mw! Wish mine came to see me (although I do only have to walk to the end of the road to see her...)Blush

Happy 12 weeks Penny! Grin

Yonionekanobe · 16/06/2013 08:48

Hi everyone! Lovely hearing all the news. I'm sorry not to have written much recently but work has been horrendous as I'm getting ready for 2.5 weeks off from Weds and a much needed holiday. Doubt it will be super relaxing (long haul with toddler) but quality time with DH and DD is much needed!

Scan before we go in Tuesday. Much more nervous than I was with DD - cant really believe I could be lucky enough to have two beautiful children. Plus the work dress can't be too good.

Enjoy Father's Day if you're celebrating with you own Dads, FILs or already have children. DH is getting a lie in, bacon sarnie in bed and then we are all off for lunch at PILs with my parents too. DD's head will explode - all devoted GPs together for first time since Christmas!

Sultanajo · 16/06/2013 09:19

yoni once you are there it will be fabulous! Sounds blissful! Know what its like trying to get work sorted before going!!! Hope your scan is fabbie on Tuesday! Loving your DDs head exploding! Bless her! Grin

LittlePeaPod · 16/06/2013 09:19

Congratulations Sultanajo & Penny. HAPPY 12 WEEK CELEBRATIONS.... You are now starting the first week of the second trimester.. Flowers Wine Grin. 9 days and counting for DF and I.

Toby well done on BBQ.

Yoni. Good luck for Tuesday and sounds like the holiday will do you good. Lots of rest for you hopefully.

enormouse congratulations and well done on your achievement!

Congrats to those who had good scans too!

Today I mostly have housework to do before DH gets back from the Download Festival which I wussed out of this year on account of being pg. I am hoping it wasn't a total mudfest like last year!

TobyLerone · 16/06/2013 09:37

Oooh, where are you going, yoni? I wanna go on holiday!

Penny31 · 16/06/2013 09:37

Ooo happy 12 weekssultana! Feels like I've waited forever for today!

Sultanajo · 16/06/2013 09:52

Thanks pod! Doesnt it just Penny! Over a quarter of the way through now and not long until you see wriggling around at your scan!!! Grin

MrsAVB · 16/06/2013 11:35

Happy 12 weeks sultana and penny, YAY!
Hope everyone is doing ok. Have had 3 whole days with no vomming now, although still feel pretty nauseous and still taking meds. But feel positive!
Having a quiet weekend as we have a few very busy weeks coming up... including telling families etc., I can't wait!
Enjoy Father's Day everyone xxx

qumquat · 16/06/2013 11:57

Hello everyone. Haven't written for ages as feeling so wretched with sickness. I've lost half a stone so far which is a bit worrying, but I know others have it worse. I feel starving and parched but neither food nor liquid don't agree with me. I haven't had any fruit or veg for weeks, chips and crisps are pretty much the only things i can stomach. 12 weeks on wed and really hoping things start to get better, all I do these days is vomit and cry!

LittlePeaPod · 16/06/2013 12:13

Qum sorry to hear you feel so dreadful. I have/am pretty shitty too and lost half a stone but put a pound on last week. I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Have you spoke to MW or doctor about your sickness and weight lose? I would recommend you do if you haven't. You may be able to get omething to help like MrsAVB and I. Flowers

MrsAVB really delighted you have gone three days with no sickness.

qum I second pea! Especially if you're not able to drink much, and combined with weight loss. The anti-sickness meds really helped me. & don't worry about only eating chips and crisps, the baby will take what it needs. Rest up xxx

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 16/06/2013 12:53

Morning! Grin
Just got up, DH made me brekkie in bed, with Sunday papers, and is now making lamb and caponata for lunch. So, yes, I am getting the chance to relax now!

Happy 12 weeks, lucky ladies! I am 12 days off 12 weeks - cannot wait! Booking in on Weds, which DH is coming to as well, yay.
Might watch more Game of Thrones later, or nap. I like today.

Sultanajo · 16/06/2013 13:20

qumquat thats really awful! Take these ladies knowledgable advice and seek help....

mrsavb thats really amazing! Bet you feel relieved!!! Grin

humpty thats great! You thoroughly deserve some pampering and relaxation!!! Grin

MrsAVB · 16/06/2013 15:32

Waaaah... So 4 days vom free was not to be. Hey ho.
humpty I am having a similar day. Been online browsing maternity wear, despite the fact that all my clothes still fit and it would be barmy to buy anything now. I think I may do some sewing of hair bobbles onto buttons for trouser extension though so I feel like I'm doing something without spending any moola.
Hope Sunday is treating you well ladies. Xxx

MrsGSR · 16/06/2013 15:45

Sorry to all those who are still feeling crap. Still coming and going here!

Has anyone found a nice supportive non unwired bra? The wires are becoming really uncomfortable!
