Congratulations to ananikifo and serious
My baby girl wasn't behaving either so they couldn't get a clear view of the heart but what they managed to see looks healthy. I've got to go back on the 20th so they can try and get a clearer view. but I'm certain everything is fine.

TheFalconsmistress · 06/06/2013 16:47

Thats good that what they could see appeared healthy mon s

The weeks are seeming to fly in for me too!

SeriousStuff · 06/06/2013 16:53

Great stuff MoN!

Smitten1981 · 06/06/2013 17:00

Wow, great news MoN, shows how far off their nuchal analysis really is then after all that worry.

SeriousStuff · 06/06/2013 17:14

I am still on a massive high after the scan, to the point where I've even allowed myself to buy something relatively extravagant... [http://www.nordickids.co.uk/bottoms-c1/casual-bottoms-c8/molo-rabbit-sonya-baby-bottoms-p2910] I'm not a massive fan of all pink stuff for girls, but I thought these were amazing!

Tarlia · 06/06/2013 17:22

Congratulations on all the lovely scan news today.

Very cute and Danish, serious. I'm now going to have to go shop as I like the Dalmatian playsuit!

Weeks are dragging for me, as im feeling pants, but I know over the summer time will fly by.

SeriousStuff · 06/06/2013 17:30

Tarlia I know, it was a difficult decision - I might persuade DH to let me get the dalmatian top...sorry to hear you're not feeling great. Is it mainly sickness?

roofio87 · 06/06/2013 17:35

what a lot of naughty babies we have!! I'm re scanning as well, mines tomorrow afternoon!! hopefully see the heart and face well enough this time!!
so glad things look good MoN Smile

Tarlia · 06/06/2013 17:48

serious would def have gone for the bunnies, but I'm having a boy so not sure DP would approve ;)
Can't really complain, but my SPD has been awful as has my BP, I'm getting awful headaches and finding the heat (which I usually love!) a nightmare.

roo will be lovely to see baby again tomorrow!

textbook · 06/06/2013 18:04

Huge congrats to all the scanners - MoN this is such good news, such a difference from a few months ago!

Legally glad to hear everything went well - fingers crossed for plain sailing from now on.

I've been helping draft my maternity cover position advert today, and written formally to HR with my MAT B1 - it's all starting to feel very real! Also, only 9 days until my holiday - can't bloody wait Grin

textbook · 06/06/2013 18:05

Oh, and best of luck for a well behaved baby tomorrow roofio Grin

MrsO27 · 06/06/2013 18:25

All the scan chat is making me excited for tomorrow, albeit nervous at the same time! Anyone else scanning tomorrow? Pretty sure I'm one of the last.

Shootingstarsandcomets · 06/06/2013 18:43

I love those trousers serious!
Mothercare are having a buy one get second half price sale if anyone's interested. I bought some really cute unisex stuff this morning from the little bird rane they do.
Congrats on all the good scans today and yes the weeks are flying by. Guess that's good and bad at the same time as I'm still panicked at the thought of having two babies in my arms!

pinkmoonlight · 06/06/2013 19:20

Congrats ananikifo, serious and mon- chuffed for you all! x Smile

Soupqueen · 06/06/2013 19:54

MoN, you must be so relieved! Congrats to all today's scanners.

We had the second part of ours today and baby was much more co-operative, heart and spine both fine which is great news. However, because of my wonky blood results, I will be having regular growth scans - next one on 11 July. I know I get to see the baby again, but I'd honestly prefer there to be no reason to.

legally, glad the stitch seemed to go well, fingers crossed for you. Am I the only one who wouldn't be remotely bothered by a sex ban?

OrangeBlossom2 · 06/06/2013 20:42

Glad to hear lots of good news today! :)

First of two parents evenings today. Not too bad when it is still light when you come home.

Flyer747 · 06/06/2013 20:46

Great news for all the scanners today.

I have sat on a roof terrace all day, roofio have you ever been to Matau in town, just opposite the Liver building? It was lush, ate Thai food and basked in the sun with my friend, unfortunately I've gone red again and am now itching like crazy! Silly girl I am....only thing missing was a lovely cold beer in hand!

claphammama · 06/06/2013 21:15

great news on all the scans! congrats everyone. And what a relief MoN!

flyer your day sounds so lovely! definitely much better than being stuck in the office. This weather plus pregnancy brain are playing tricks on me - spent 5 min in the office looking for my coat as I was leaving, just to realise that I didn't wear any coat today! yes, first day without a coat - oh miracle!

DP is just making me watch Hannibal the series... is it supposed to convince me it's a good name for a boy...??

Nice summer evening are hard without a drink... just had some pasta with red mullet and kept thinking how lovely it would be with a glass of cold white wine...

claphammama · 06/06/2013 21:20

soup I feel the same - I'd rather know everything is OK and not see the baby again until birth rather than going back for a scan at 32 weeks...

PseudoBadger · 06/06/2013 21:36

I've got my re-scan this Saturday, and then a Doppler scan in a couple of weeks. I'm also torn between being glad to see her and wishing it wasn't needed....

roofio87 · 06/06/2013 21:38

Ooo, flyer no I haven't but have heard good things. a friend of mine starts work there in a few weeks so will have to go at some point!!
I'm loving this gorgeous weather. the gas arrived for the bbq this week and dp built it tonight so.looking forward to a weekend of bbqs!!Smile

Tarlia · 06/06/2013 21:39

Ditto the not needing extra scans. I have a 28 week growth scan due to my pregnancy hypertension. Z was 3kg at 37+5 weeks though, so they are hoping hypertension and pre-eclampsia (which it only changes to as soon as protine is present) do not hinder the way I grow babies. I beg to differ as a 6.6oz baby is tiny for my family, but here it's a good size.

Cold wine..oh what I wouldn't give for a glass. Or a really ice cold glass of apple Somersby :(

Yay for no coat days! Boo for baby brain!

claphammama · 06/06/2013 22:05

Where are you tarlia? not in the UK?
I had no preeclampsia and had a text book pregnancy and my DS1 was 6.8 (2,950 kg) - normal for European standards but much smaller than all my friends' babies! I've read somewhere that babies over 2.5kg are OK and normal weight for a newborn.

Tarlia · 06/06/2013 22:08

Im in Scandinavia, though I'm a Brit. Yes, it's an healthy weight in terms of a full term baby, I just know from history he should have been bigger. Hey Ho, all worked out in the end and fingers crossed this time too!
