Meant to say, Tommys line is there mon-fri 9am-5pm. X

enormouse · 03/06/2013 15:02

frizz I have no advice but offer virtual hand holding.
Welcome betty Smile
Hey MrsGSR , hope you manage to work something out.

The rage has lifted with DP and his friend acknowledging they've both been cuntpuffins (love that word - want to use it more from in conversation). Cue much grovelling, cleaning, meals cooked and hot drinks offered from both of them. DP has noticed I'm finding this pregnancy tougher than my first and has booked me a full body massage.

Frizz1986 · 03/06/2013 15:30

Thanks guys.
Have been to the loo loads in the past few hours to see how it goes and it seems to have faded in colour a bit. Am going to wait it out for now but if i still have it in the morning I will call either epu or that tommys line just to make sure it's nothing I should be worrying about.
Hopefully it might just be the uterus stretching or something.

Sultanajo · 03/06/2013 16:00

Fingers firmly crossed frizz! Its good its not getting any heavier. I have used the Tommys line twice now and both times they have been lovely!

What a result enormouse! You totally deserve it! X

MrsAVB · 03/06/2013 17:59

Hey all,
frizz I hope you're doing ok and have got some answers... Flowers
Welcome and congrats betty!
Have had a mega busy day at work, and combined with taking sickness meds am absolutely zonked. Hoping DH will have dinner ready and slippers warmed when I get in. But only 1x vomming today (so far), woop woop!
9 weeks today, 1 week til booking appointment, 18 days til scan, 18 days til telling my parents Smile

Sultanajo · 03/06/2013 18:25

Hey mrsavb thats fabulous! That must feel great - despite the exhaustion! Grin

MrsVDB · 03/06/2013 18:35

Scan letter came through today!!! Was told I wouldn't hear until 10-11 weeks but at 6+3 I get my letter woooo hoo! 16th July so ill be 12+3. Haven't had my booking in appointment yet but assume I will get that in next few days. Soo excited! Just hope we make it that far... Fingers crossed :)

sarahleanne · 03/06/2013 18:50

HI EVRY1- sorry ive gone into total hibernation lately , I had 2 days of feeling great ( which made me worried) then the exhaustion came back with avengeance . dropped the kids off to school this morning and genuinely thought I was going to puke in my car on the way home, sorry TMI.I have never felt so tired in my whole entire bloody life!!

I'm glad everyone is doing ok and getting closer to scan dates now :) so exciting.
dh had a job interview in Scotland today so I have to cope with the kids on my own, nnnooooooooooooo haha.shame, its only a few hours after work I have them before bed time but with this exhaustion the minutes feel like hours.

9 days until my booking in appointment with MW, cant even remember how the scans work down this way...I think I have to ring and book it myself.

I have been reading all your posts, I just havn't had anything interesting to say lol. sorry to those who are spotting, stay positive.

MrsGSR · 03/06/2013 19:19

My new vitamins have days written on the packet, which at first I thought was really clever but it doesn't actually help me remember, it just stops me taking them twice and confuses me when I can't remember what day it is.
I've also just realised that the exam I thought was in 2 weeks is next week. oops.

I hope everyone else is functioning better than me!

Penny31 · 03/06/2013 21:13

Yey scan date is 18th June! Will be 12 weeks. :)

MrsAVB · 03/06/2013 22:01

Yippee for scan dates!
sultana, am still weighing up the vom vs tiredness pros and cons. Have vommed this evening and I think the meds are giving me headaches too. But hopefully it won't be for long and I've definitely been more productive today from the not vomming. Just collapsed in a heap when I got home though!

chocoloulou33 · 03/06/2013 22:44

Evening all. Saw my midwife 2day. I quite like her so that's a bonus. They wanted to know mine & OH's life story & full medical history!!

Fx that my sickness getting slightly better. Not been sick 2day or yesterday x

Frizz1986 · 04/06/2013 10:23

Well called my midwives office this morning as had cramps last night. Am not sure if they are like period cramps or worse as when you are worried about something everything feels worse than it probably is.

Anyway the midwife I spoke to was lovely and told me that I should just keep an eye on it as cramps are normal but if they continue for too long it's worth getting checked out. She told me I can call my gp if the spotting and cramps continue or if they get worse and they would prob refer me for a scan at the epu.
Hoping that it all goes away, but am feeling very sick and uncomfortable today after very little sleep and I have random cramps again, but the spotting seems to have almost stopped but looking more pinky (not sure if that's because there isn't much of it now so the colour isn't so strong)

Glad some people have got scan dates thru
How exciting! Something to really look forward and countdown to!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 04/06/2013 14:51

frizz fingers crossed that it's all okay - I'm sure the midwife would have sent you to EPU if it were a serious risk.

So glad everyone likes cuntpuffin it's my favourite swear.

Feeling awful today, but my POAS habit is still in full swing. Only 15 more left though...

MrsAVB · 04/06/2013 17:36

choco glad you got on well with your midwife and are feeling slightly better. What kind of questions did she ask you? I know (very helpful and lovely toby posted a list up thread but wondered if there was anything different? Also, am surprised you're not going apoplectic at all the posting on thread 4 (or was that the other choco?)
frizz FX - hope you feel better soon. X
humpty can't believe you're still POAS!
Vom count has approximately halved since have been on the meds, although this morning was pretty bad.
And today, I think I look fat preggo! It's probably what I'm wearing, but normally my fat is on my hips and it seems to have migrated to my tummy. Everything still fits fine and I know it's way too soon for it to be baby, but it does feel a little weird; a bit exciting, and a bit, "oh no, I'm fat".
Hope everyone's having a good day
Xxx

MrsAVB · 04/06/2013 17:39

Ps, does anyone else have funny whistly ears? I know this is probably totally unrelated to being pg and I prob just need my ears syringed or something, but they don't feel blocked, just whistly.
X

Sultanajo · 04/06/2013 17:44

Great stuff frizz! You are gonna worry about every niggle and spotting u get, but the fact its getting lighter is positive! As u say, when u focus on something its hard to know if its worse than it would be normally. If it doesnt clear up then get yourself referred for reassurance, but fingers crossed it will bugger off as quickly as it came!

Got my last private scan tomorrow - 10 weeks! This is exciting and scary as if all is ok tomorrow I will have got past the point it all went wrong last time! I am still feeling nauseous so praying I will see a wriggly 10 week old bean with a strong heartbeat!!! Blush

Sultanajo · 04/06/2013 17:48

Lol mrsavb! I actually got a bit excited about getting a bump - I look preggers already, but its bloat/mini cheddars related! Looking forward to getting an actual baby bump, rather than just looking like I have eaten one too many pies!!!

No whistly ears here.....x

stickortwist · 04/06/2013 17:57

I have whistly ringing ears too! How odd 9w 5d ish today.
This is my fourth pregnancy. I am really suffering though as well as ringing ears and nausea and tiredness i also have had nosebleeds !?! hip pain abd bloating. Plus the most awful taste in my mouth.... I am actually falling apart!

MrsAVB · 04/06/2013 18:07

How bizarre stick. I feel like I sound like darth vader in my head. I googled it and it seems tinnitus is quite common in pregnancy, great. However if you googled "leg falling off and pregnancy" or "green nose and pregnancy" I'm sure you'd find something too. Might ask the midwife when I see her on Monday if it hasn't stopped.
X

Sultanajo · 04/06/2013 18:14

Lol! Green nose and pregnancy! Very common apparently!

stick I too have had several nosebleeds and my right hip is intermittently painful when walking - never had that before so assuming its something to do with the loosening of joints....

extracrunchy · 04/06/2013 18:34

Noisy ears is increased blood flow!

chocoloulou33 · 04/06/2013 18:39

Hi mrsavb I didn't see tobys list & can't find it. They wanted in depth medical history of my parents, oh's parents lol. Just sooo much about my past m/c's. Wanted every detail! All past medication I've been on. Details of dd's birth & what drugs I took. The list just seemed to go on & on!
Another day of not being sick so far. Can't win though, I'm worried now coz I'm feeling a bit better. Geez roll on 12 wk scan x

stickortwist · 04/06/2013 18:50

Well im glad its not just me. :) i darent google all these symptoms because it will only freak me out!

Frogcatcher · 04/06/2013 19:47

I had a private 8 week scan today & everything hunky dory in there despite my lack of sickness! So cool to see little heartbeat. I was dated as 8+2. Anyway some good news this week compared to yesterday when I got told by work that my role in a satellite office wasn't working out & they were offering me a voluntary pay off. Great timing eh? Anyway I'm going to go back & say I'm pg (I don't think the bosses knew but a couple of colleagues did) & try & get more money. Not like I can just go out & get another job is it?! Lots of stress & tears yesterday.

Good luck tmrw Sultana & sympathy to all those with tinnitus! I just have sore boobs still!
