OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Sultanajo · 02/06/2013 09:48

Frog am probably closer than I would be normally as am cat sitting for my parents at the mo and I love it down here. Grew up round here and its bliss when the sun is out! DH doesnt get on with sailing so cruising wont ever be an option for us. I can imagine how hassle free it would be!

enormouse · 02/06/2013 11:26

frogcatcher I got mine on Friday. It's for the 1st July. So excited. When's yours?

I am so pissed off this morning. The boys cooked last night so my kitchen is a tip. Likewise the living room and bizzarely my office/ the dining room. I had to get some order In the rooms as mess pisses me off and put out the laundry they didn't bother doing yesterday.

The worst thing is I'm now banned from my own living room. We're expected at DPs parents for lunch today so I was quizzing DP re the arrangements - is it still on as his DM was I'll during the week? What time is it? Should we bring dessert? Etc. I was told in no uncertain terms to shut up as they were watching a DVD and DPs friend does not like people talking over his film viewing. I've huffed off and left then to it. I was summoned down again to deal with DSs poopy nappy as DP couldn't manage it alone.

Phew, rant over. Sorry, I am just really annoyed. Don't really want to go to his parents (aka caffeine and booze central) either. I don't want them to know I'm pg till at least 12 weeks.

TobyLerone · 02/06/2013 11:30

enormouse, it sounds like you live with more than one child :(

loulou, that means I'm 9 weeks today, too :o I'm glad someone's keeping track!

enormouse · 02/06/2013 11:37

toby only when they're both together. It's pretty rare that they see each other now. I was prepared to suck it up as the friend is off to America and it was just a weekend. I forgot how odd this friend is and how fussy he is on certain things. I like him well enough tbh just not over an extensive period. I also may have blocked out the mess from the last time they were together. They do regress mentally together, both highly intelligent usually, the friend is doing a PhD for God's sake. Yet they become 5 year olds together.

I can hear my toddler babbling away loudly so I'm glad he's doing his bit to disrupt the film viewing. Smile

Sultanajo · 02/06/2013 11:45

I am feeling the rage for you enormouse! Thats just rude! Not surprised you are super pissed off!!! Angry

TobyLerone · 02/06/2013 12:35

I definitely have The Rage today. I just shouted "OH, JUST FUCK RIGHT OFF!" at the tupperware cupboard because things kept falling out.

Sultanajo · 02/06/2013 15:29

That cracked me up Toby! Hilarious! Well, I have major rage now! Popped out for a relaxing walk and to grab a Strawberry Lemonade from Costa. Well not only did the girl short change me by a pound and then argue the toss making me look like a dick until she finally realised her mistake, but as I was walking back to the car I got hit by a bunch of teenage boys football! How I stopped myself picking up their ball and either kicking it really hard at them, kicking it onto the roof of a nearby building or just walking off with it while yelling "does this look like a fucking football pitch!" I will never know! To top it off I then drove to the beach for some chill out time and it was so packed I couldnt park so came straight back again! Finally ended up in Tesco trying not to heave to try and find something I fancied to take the nausea away and seemed to forever be moving out of other peoples way! Cant wait until I have a visible bump and then hopefully people will start moving out of MY FUCKING WAY for a change!

Should never have gone out! Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

MrsGSR · 02/06/2013 16:02

Haven't had any rage today which is good. But corn on the cob is the latest single thing I can think of that doesn't make me feel sick. Just about to send poor dh out to buy some corn!

Sultanajo · 02/06/2013 16:20

Dammit! Corn on the cob! THAT'S what I should have bought in Tesco!!! Shock

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 02/06/2013 16:21

Feeling the rage for enormouse that sounds so annoying.

toby I have been known to shout a utensils/things in cupboards that won't stay where they're put on occasion... Grin

sultana I know what you mean - I HATE moving out of the way all the time, it twists my back and makes my lower belly hurt. So now I put on a belligerent look, put my bag in front of me, and NEVER make eye contact. Subconciously this makes people move out of your way, as they don't think you've seen them. Otherwise I end up frantic with rage that I don't have any right to walk where I want to, and that's not healthy Grin.

Feeling dreadful today, have managed a bowl of cereal so far.

Penny31 · 02/06/2013 16:39

Took the dog out this morning and have been on the sofa since I got back. No exaggeration. I haven't moved. It is sunny and warm outside, I can hear people in their gardens and I just can't be bothered to move. There is so much I wanted to do today but just haven't bothered. I've wasted the whole day and I'm annoyed with myself. This is normal right?

DP just came in from the garden and said he is going to take me out for some air. I burst into tears at the prospect!

TobyLerone · 02/06/2013 16:48

You lot need to adopt London Rules -- never move, never apologise, never deviate from your intended path, never make eye contact.

I've just had a 2 hour nap, Penny. It's not just you.

Sultanajo · 02/06/2013 17:22

Sorry u r feeling shite today humpty. I am liking your technique!

Toby I think u r right! I am always making eye contact!!! I cant help it and it really pisses me off when shop assistants/waiters/check out staff dont! Who the hell trains people these days in the catering industry? Do they all come from the college of "I dont give a flying fuck"? Its just rude! My god, the rage is properly taking over!!!

Penny I really feel for you! I was the same about a week ago and now of course am freaking out because I have actually been able to make it out of the house for the last few days without feeling too horrendous! It pisses me off I cant be excited about being preggers in case it all goes wrong again! Arghhhh! Where is something I can throw (apart from my toys out of my pram!) Confused

On the plus side Hawaii 50 is on tonight so get to see some eye candy (well I would if I could actually stay up past 9pm....)

Frogcatcher · 02/06/2013 17:24

No rage today - that was so yesterday for my hormones. Today I have had the tears instead. About EVERYTHING!

Oh & when I was in Sainsburys yesterday I really fancied those mini mozzarella balls. I bought some & scoffed the lot when I got home Blush.

Frogcatcher · 02/06/2013 17:26

Oh & enormouse mines for 19th June. If it was any later than that I'd be asking why as I'm 10 weeks then.

Frogcatcher · 02/06/2013 17:28

Yes sultana it is lovely down here when the sun shines. I moved back to the South Coast from London almost 2 years ago & no regrets yet.

enormouse · 02/06/2013 17:32

frogcatcher I love mozzarella atm too. I wasn't sure if it was on the banned food list so I had to doublecheck. Every time I cut some up for salads and pizza I end up scoffing the lot! What I really want is baked camembert with bread to dip in it and full fat coke Sad I think mozzarella is my compromise.

TobyLerone · 02/06/2013 17:34

Oooh now I really fancy a salad with avocado, tomato, mozzarella and basil. Lots of salt and pepper.

Frogcatcher · 02/06/2013 17:42

enormouse baked Camembert is allowed I think as long as its piping hot all the way through as the heat kills the bacteria. Says so on the NHS website so fill your boots!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 02/06/2013 18:25

Toby yes, the full London I don't give a shit about you, I won't move out of your way, I will continue to walk even if you implode in front of me, I am barely aware of your existence is needed. I just don't have the right 'hardness' yet - I'm all soft, me Grin.

Meant to post yesterday but forgot Hmm - I was changing the sheets with DH, when I put the duvet cover over my head (inside out) ready to put it on the duvet, I did the 'wooooo, I'm a ghost thing' which induced IMMEDIATE UNSTOPPABLE hysteria. I had to lie down on the bed, inside my sheet, laughing like a hyena. I honestly couldn't stop. Then when I did, I started sobbing. For NO REASON. There was nothing I could even pretend say was wrong, the air was the right temperature, I wasn't feeling too sick, no one was making unnecessary noise outside, nothing. Just full on WAILING for 10 mins. Then I was fine. I also found it funny that I was crying, so was sort of laughing at myself at the same time. Pregnancy is weird Hmm

Tigglettchic · 02/06/2013 18:33

hi, am 5wk +6, my sickness seems to have disappeared. I am worried??

going yo the gp on Thursday to hopefully make all this official. have a constant dread though!

Sultanajo · 02/06/2013 18:44

frog cant beat the south coast!

humpty thats hilarious! Its so random isnt it!

Tig congrats and welcome! Try not to worry too much - lots of us have had symptoms come and go, particularly around the 5/6 week mark! Wink

Penny31 · 02/06/2013 18:50

humpty your post made me laugh out loud!

Well I've got up off the sofa put some washing on and helped DP make dinner. Spicy sausage pasta :) excited. Feel like I've accomplished something!

I suppose do manage a full week at work so I can't be too hard on myself. I think I just get frustrated

TobyLerone · 02/06/2013 18:59

Humpty, you basically just described me at all times. I am NAILS!

Mac2014 · 02/06/2013 19:19

humpty I'm the same, nearly cried as I had to leave the house, penny i wanted to stay on the couch... Which I did all of yesterday afternoon... Apparently 'wasting the day'.

Today had to go to DH's family lunch 2 hours drive each way... Had to hold the puke in the whole journey.

I cannot wait for a bump and a baby on board badge for the commute, so I have an obvious reason for the rage on my way to work.

Glad we're all in this together, otherwise I would think I was personally bonkers!!
