Lol @ bean time hahaha.
pod good luck with your scan! Not long now :)
Am hoping 2day is a better day. I don't feel too bad atm but know I need to go eat something now which I'm dreading! Hope you ladies all ave a good day x

Sultanajo · 01/06/2013 09:16

Doh! Grin

Penny31 · 01/06/2013 09:45

Good luck pod!

Well I've had 12 hours sleep and I feel no different. My house is a complete mess and I have a ton of washing to do. I have no energy whatsoever! Can't wait for the second trimester now, it gets better then, right? I am sorry to those with HG, that's far worse than me and you deserve a medal!

Where has the nice weather gone? That might have lifted my spirits. Instead it's raining and grey :(

I'm obviously suffering from The Rage today, sorry folks!

Mac2014 · 01/06/2013 09:55

penny I'm with you on the rage. We recently moved into a new house... Old dilapidated cottage... Which we're doing up. I've been stomping around all morning, irritated by everything. I'm in the middle of sanding walls and just want to sit down, eat crisps and work out who to pay to do my share of the DIY.

enormouse · 01/06/2013 10:12

I third you on the rage penny and Mac. Atm, we have an old friend of my DP staying for the weekend. They've known each other since they were about 4 and as such regress to 4 year olds when they're together. Last time they sat around, played on the PlayStation till 3am, watched dvds and ate me out of house and home whilst I looked after DS, cleaned and cooked for them. This time I've confiscated the PlayStation PlayStation and delegated childcare. I've been looking after DS and working from home all week so I'm entitled to a weekend. plus I feel like I've been run over by a bus. up with it, I will not put.

Penny31 · 01/06/2013 10:14

mac we have a viewing today in a dilapidated house! I don't envy you having to do DIY with The Rage. I feel ridiculous sitting on the sofa with a face on when lots of you have no choice but to get on with your day. I don't know how I got through the week at work!

lovelilies · 01/06/2013 10:17

Mornin all Grin
Back is killing me, house is a bomb site, going to France today, haven't packed, dd and friend want pancakes for breakfast Shock

MrsGSR · 01/06/2013 10:36

pod hope your scans gone well :)
Great new thread name to :)

MrsGSR · 01/06/2013 10:39

My house is also a bomb site! We went out and bought a tumble dryer when dh got paid, it's been really rubbish weather and I've been really useless so he was running out of clothes.
I forgot to buy a pot noodle the other day then really fancied one last night, and found one in the back of the cupboard dh had bought a while ago. It was even the right flavor!

extracrunchy · 01/06/2013 11:12

Mrs that is a small miracle!!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/06/2013 11:17

GrinGrinGrin at 'bean time' and 'Salad Dodger'.

pod good luck today!

penny mac and enormouse I am so joining the Rage club again. Had to get up at ten to seven as drunken eedjit DH was snoring like a buzz saw, had my 2 hour motorway pass plus driving lesson, and went totally the wrong way at a roundabout (I thought the 'straight on' exit was 'right', so went left...) and nearly cried. Also nearly shat myself on the M25.
Got home needing a wee to find DH in shower, house still a tip. Am going to wait until he gets out, wee and go out shopping. Leave the bastard in his own stinky mess. He's been utterly selfish this week and I am VER CROSS. There.

Hope everyone else okay?

Mac2014 · 01/06/2013 11:41

penny good luck with the viewing - hope it's what you want! I love our house it's just horrid doing DIY like this.

enormouse they are such wallies! I bet when you come back it will be the same as when you left!

My DH (just realised this appropriately also translates to dickhead) is off for 9 hours of cricket... Leaving me with instructions on which bits to get done on the house. I'm downing tools at 12 and going for a walk with the dog, then going to come back and watch shite on tv! I love a good crime drama ... Fx midsummer or some such is on!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/06/2013 11:51

pod also, meant to say, check out Bottlegreen ginger and lemongrass if you like the elderflower - I live on it now. Gentle tasting, IYSWIM. Might work!

Sultanajo · 01/06/2013 11:52

Humpty I have been driving for nearly 20 years and I shit myself on the m25 everytime! I hate it and also always get stuck in a two hour jam on it! I avoid it like the plague! Can feel the rage building just thinking about it!!! Grin

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/06/2013 12:15

sultana phew, it's not cos I lack confidence behind the wheel then! All those lanes, it freaks me out!

enormouse · 01/06/2013 13:00

Finally turfed them out with DS so enjoying some well deserved peace and quiet at last. Mac wally is the right word for the pair of them. I like them both separately but when their together there's an odd male mentality thing going on. Luckily both are being quite considerate and caring this time. no doubt due to DP telling practically all his friends I'm pg!

humptydumptybumpty I'm doing advanced driving here in NI (no pass plus available) and I find motorways and dual carriageways terrifiying

chocoloulou33 · 01/06/2013 13:23

pod how did u get on? X

Mac2014 · 01/06/2013 14:08

enormouse hope you're enjoying your peace and quiet. I feel mush more human after a walk... It's blown the rage away!

LittlePeaPod · 01/06/2013 14:22

Hi ladies

Hope everyone with the rage feels better soon. Although you all made me laugh Grin

Penny I so empathise.. It's awful resting so much and waking up feeling shit..... Hope it improves for you..

Mac ohhhh that would send me into a complete meltdown. I would down tools and go on strike too. Ohh a bit of Colomobo.. Woman after my own heart...

Love have a fantastic time in France and worry about cleaning when you get back...

Humpty thanks for ginger and lemongrass tip. I will try that..

As for me today is a particularly bad day.. DF had to keep stopping so I could get out and gag/throw up on the way back from the scan because of all the water I had to force down myself this morning. Scan went really well and it made all the illness worth it. They didn't change my dates i was re-confirmed as EDD 7th January which makes me 8+4.

We saw chickpea's head, body, little arms and legs. Chickpea was also jigging about which really surprised us as we never expected him/her to have started moving yet. Best 20mins by far over that last two weeks. Grin. Will post pictures later... Chickpea has grown from 0.66mm to 20mm and Chickpeas heart beat has increased from 120bpm to 160bpm in two weeks.. So really pleased and relieved. Hope you ladies are having a lovely day...

pod brilliant news... You must be over the moon. Congrats.

Frogcatcher · 01/06/2013 14:59

Great news pod. I also have rage today according to DP & have bickered with poor SS all morning

mac I think you have my life as my DP has also buggered off to play cricket. I should be playing golf but he booked house viewings this morning which meant I couldn't go. Funny how he made sure he'd be back in time though Angry whilst I get to do washing & food shopping.

Anyway we've given up idea of doing somewhere up now bubs is on the way & been looking at newer places. At least he is really taking nurseries & schools into account tho.

MrsGSR · 01/06/2013 15:09

That's great news pod! Really pleased the scan went well :)

LittlePeaPod · 01/06/2013 15:26

Thank you ladies.... scan photos uploaded onto profile.... Off to go and try and eat.... Sad

I second the ginger and lemongrass humpty the sparkling kind for a lovely cool drink and the cordial with hot water makes a good substitute for tea or coffee.

pod so pleased your scan went well! I and 10 weeks tomorrow and I'm waiting for my appointment for my 12 week scan. Can't believe I've made it this car without giving I and having a private one. Think my Doppler helped with that. I've used it three times now and it's reassuring hearing the heart beating away very fast.

Went to see the house and its nice. Huge potential but needs new kitchen and bathroom, decorating throughout which I really don't mind even in my condition ;) assuming the rage and tiredness improves. Good school catchment, close to beach, famly etc. The downside is the east facing garden and its really rather a small garden. How important is a large garden? The one I have at the minute is larger and I don't use it all. I guess with a child it would be different. Ho hum.

Mac2014 · 01/06/2013 16:32

frog I think we might!! Sounds like a familiar story. Whereabouts are you looking at moving?
