still no sickness here, had a few slightly nauseauous moments but feeling like a fraud. Is there any other explanation for positive tests and no AF??

lulu25 · 20/05/2006 14:43

Hey ladies. May I join you? Due 18 Jan, my first.

Feeling generally OK - exhausted and sleeping weird hours but only a bit of nausea (at least at this stage). I'm also freezing cold, all the time - anyone else get that?

jessddibs · 20/05/2006 15:02

i have been feeling really cold aswell! not sure if it's normal! But my guess is that nothing we feel is going to feel normal to any of us! No pains or probs and we wonder if we are actually still pregnant! hey ho, to me it's just a waiting game and the rest is in the hands of the gods.(unless of course your trampolining, drinking and nightclubbing every week Grin)still got my back ache will sharp pains round my tummy and groin but have woken up positive today and am trying to block the worry out.

jessddibs · 20/05/2006 15:03

sorry..hi lulu!
Welcome to the crazy mental world of pregnancy!

jessddibs · 20/05/2006 15:07

Also..BB is a nightmare! I can't stay awake to watch it! Have to sky plus it then find time when my 5yr old isn't around to see it! That Sharaz or whatever his name is is soo annoying!! The girls all seem pretty cool but the guys are a bit off the wall...or is that just my hormones talking!

lulu25 · 20/05/2006 15:22

With you on Shahbaz. Reserving my position on girls - liking Lisa and Nikki, but went through so many reversals last year that's not really a reliable indicator.

Just think, by the time it finishes I/we will be nearly halfway through.

magnolia1 · 20/05/2006 16:06

I am also blooming feezing all the time!!

Not feeling too sick but am exhausted to the point of having a blood test on Wednesday coz I could sleep 24hrs a day and still be tired Sad

Not easy with 4 kiddies running riot lol

neolara · 20/05/2006 17:29

Hello. Can I join you? I'm due 19th Jan. I have a DD already who is 22 months but after two miscarriages I'm feeling a bit wobbly at the moment. The last was a missed miscarriage (no sign that anything was wrong until we went to dating scan) so now I'm being super sensitive to signs of any changes. TBH I thought I was doing OK but today have lost that metalic taste in my mouth and am feeling paranoid. From reading all the posts I know that we all seem to have days like this so I should probably just try and calm down. Easier said than done though! Hope everyone else is feeling OK this raining Saturday afternoon.

elliepippamummy · 20/05/2006 18:00

Hi to Jessdibs & Neolara congrats on your BFP!!

Well are we all counting down weeks to the infamous 12 week stage I know I am. I'm 6 weeks today so just need to get thru the next 6wks we are going on hols to spain with friends who have dd same age as ours and I fly home the day I'm 12 weeks so when we get home we can tell all our friends and family that don't know.

good news with my ache that it has moved from the right side to the left side so Dr is sure it isn't ectopic as pain would stay the same side but still going for scan on weds to double check eveything (fingerscrosssed)

No other symptons at the moment apart from tender boobs(was only sick for 2 days yippee!!)

Hope everyone has agood weekend and we should all ty to relax and stop worrying (easier said than done)x

me23 · 20/05/2006 18:17

hi just popping in im due 31/12/06 but of course I could on on till jan,
so might pop between boards if thats ok?
regarding the cold feeling me too! today I had heating on full blast dp was roasting lol.
today I've had some niggly pre period type pains too, which worried me a bit, don't remember those with dd (11 months)
I'm exhausted and getting headaches too.
the tiredness is the worst though as I cant just relax when I want to!

neolara · 20/05/2006 18:19

Thanks Elliepippamummy. Very pleased to hear your doctor thinks it isn't an ectopic. That must be a huge relief! You replied to my one and only post on the TTC after miscarriage thread so I was very pleased to see you also had a BFP. Have a good weekend.

Loubie37 · 20/05/2006 18:44

Hi everyone and welcome to the new girls. Well, I'm still spotting and ended up going to the Out of Hours GP Unit this morning at the hospital. They did a pg test (and it's still +ve thank god) but other than that they couldn't really do anything to reassure me. I'm having a scan on Wednesday morning and going to stay off work until at least then, and just try and relax....easier said than done! I keep telling myself that if Iwas bleeding because I've lost the baby, I wouldn't still keep getting +ve pg test results - I've been spotting since Tuesday. I also feel really sick on and off and have sore boobs too, so they must be a good sign?

Hope everyone else is well?

Loubie xx
5+5

2Happy · 20/05/2006 21:45

Hello! mumofmonsters found me on a random breastfeeding thread announcing my pregnancy (long story as to why it was on that thread) and told me there was a Jan '07 thread. I think I'm about 6 or 7 weeks, but don't really know, so I may have to bog off to another thread Grin Can I stay for the time being? Kind of want to share my excitement Smile

LadyTophamHatt · 21/05/2006 08:11

Has anyone heard from Nemo?

Don't think she's been on since the other day when she was going to the doctors.

Hope everything is Ok Nemo.....

jessddibs · 22/05/2006 07:26

Hope nemo is ok, havn't been here long but did read about everyones worries. It truley is one of the hardest things a women can do in life. Well my pains are still present, but dare i say subsiding a little. Have found a local clinic that offers 10-12 week scans privatley, so am gonna book in with them, can't possibly wait till 20 weeks! Love to all you expecting mothers.x.

posyparker · 22/05/2006 08:58

Hi everyone, especially to all the new Jan07 threaders (lulu25, jessddibs, noelara and saltcod, hope I haven't missed anyone!)

I am absolutely freezing too! After 3 weeks of being like a bl**dy furnace (according to DP) I am now a fridge. I am also getting back ache and quite sharp pains in my lower tummy, in fact I had to curl up in bed for half an hour this morning when kids were having breakfast, kind of like a sharp throbbing. It was on one side, but yesterday I had the same thing on the other side, so I'm not too worried about an ectopic. I have a sneaky suspicion it is something to do with the raging constipation I have (sorry if TMI!) as it really seems to kick off when I eat something. Not great, as I have started to feel quite sick when i am hungry and the only thing that helps is eating (which in turn sets off the pain). I am turning into a real bag of symptoms!

loubie, yes it is easier said than done, but try not to worry, I really hope the scan on Weds goes OK, I will be thinking of you!

Loubie37 · 22/05/2006 11:50

Good news (I think!). Have been to the docs this morning for my 2nd hcg blood test and got the results of the first one...the average for 18DPO (which is what I was last Thursday when the blood was taken, presuming I OV'd the day after I got my smiley face) is 292 and my level was 628!!! Maybe it is twins afterall.....bearing in mind I conceived on Clomid :)

Still spotting so still worried but feeling much happier and more positive today :) I should get the results of todays blood test on Wednesday, which is when I have my first scan too.

Hope everyone else is well?

Loubie xx
6 weeks today (but more likely to be 5+)

elliepippamummy · 22/05/2006 12:43
