Hi All

Do you mind if I join you? I have been abit anxious about joining in case anything goes wrong etc as it still feels really new and early days. Officially I am 7 week pregnant today since LMP (although I think it is more likely 6 as I ovulated a week later than usual). I have just started to get nausea etc the last couple of days. It has been a relief to read your postings and to know that I'm not on my own with this..

Nemo1977 · 26/05/2006 20:15

mitch hun huge hugs know exactly how you are feeling...have a look at the thread I have started about threatened miscarriages very reassuring.

Mom what judgement hun?

MerlinsBeard · 26/05/2006 20:17

judgement like i already have 2 children and no money, very small house which we will have to move from but doesn't look like we will afford it even if we win the lottery. Was judged a lot last pregnancy for being so young (FFS i am 24 not 12!!!)

Nemo1977 · 26/05/2006 20:21

MOM we had the same especially with small age gaps. When I have told people have had lots of stunned silences or bet that was a mistake..ermm no actually we had discussed ttc!! Our house is only small too and we cant move but then I dont care..our kids will be happy no matter what!

MerlinsBeard · 26/05/2006 20:25

We didn't plan ours yet, a 3rd was planned for about 10 years time!! I just don't think i can handle the awww ur trying for a girl thing either and their faces when we tell them. Also, this pg is much more worrying (altho admittedly not as much as yours :( )so trying to wait until scan

Dragonhart · 26/05/2006 20:41

lol Loubie and Mitch and all those having a scare. Sending loads of positive thoughts!

MOM I am worried about what people wll say about the small age gap. We are very happy and it was not an accident but know everyone will think that. Dont want people to think that our baby was an accident. Told DH but he said it doesn't matter what they think as long as we know but a bit hesitant about telling others.

Have told my mum and MIL and FIL but that is all. Think will tell my sis this weekend but then thats it for now. Just telling all the people I would want to talk to if something did happen.

Dragonhart · 26/05/2006 20:47

Sorry Loubie and Mitch - just checked the acronim list. Ment lots of love!! :( bit of a novice to the lingo

laughalot · 27/05/2006 08:57

Morning everyone hope you are all ok im fine feeling very sick at the minute cant stand the smell of washing powder especially when our heating kicks in if there is some cloathes on the radiator Grin. Try and not worry if you are having bleeding at the minute I had it in my first pg and I ended up in the epu with spotting again the other day my I saw prawns heartbeat and they said im only 6 weeks but I think im 7 who knows..... Well im a bit stressed at the moment we are having a new fitted kitchen there is s*it everywhere. Good luck to everyone who has a scan next week, had my dating scan through for the 23 june yipppeeeeee

trinityrhino · 27/05/2006 10:10

don't like the waves of giddyness I'm experiencing, they suck
can't wait till tuesday to see the docs, but then it's stil be ages till a dating scan Sad

Nemo1977 · 27/05/2006 10:52

hi all
hope everyones sickness, tiredness, general aches and pains are all ok.

My lovely DH let me have a sleep in this morning, although I was up and down in the night to DD as she is full of cold and cries as only a 5mth old can to wake her mummy..lol Why is it men never hear the littlies crying?????????????

Nothing planned for today apart from feet up and try to entertain the littlies. Have toyed with idea of going out but all that walking around etc dont want to tempt fate at the minute. On a positive note havent had any bleeding for a day so just wishing away the time until monday!

2Happy · 27/05/2006 15:41

Crikey, many to everyone having such a rocky time of it xxx
Back from bil's wedding, managed to get through the whole thing without telling anyone my news (dh didn't want me to tell his family yet). ds refused to sleep, so I am pretty knackered now, and dh has sloped off to bed with a hangover. Men! Angry

Hattie2 · 28/05/2006 15:54

Hello all. Everyone must be having a busy sunday - no posts for over 24 hours!

Nothing exciting to say, just thought I'd bump us up near the top again :)

MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 16:01

Hi hattie :)

Been very very tired! m only on now as looking for something online and thought MNers could help instead! we should prob start a new thread soon!

How is everyone? I am aching a bit and very very tired, having to keep on eating to stop the nausea but still carrying DS2s weight and have had probs with my weight in past so worrying about it all already!!

trinityrhino · 28/05/2006 17:27

hi all, tuesday is taking forever to come and I know that even then it's just a docs app so I'll have to wait forever for a dating scan Sad

seem to be eating tons, seems to stop me feeling ill but it has to be what I REALLY fancy so I was making Chilli con carne at 10:30 this morning and eating it at 11 Smile

hope evryone is ok Smile

LadyTophamHatt · 28/05/2006 17:50

OMG...I honestly thought I was about to drop dead yesterday. I have never felt so ill in all my life. Banging headache, couldn't eat or drink(even water tasted wierd), felt sick, dizzy...Uugghh bloody awful.
Dh was at work from 12:30pm so i had loads of fun trying to entertain the ds's while I laid flat out on the sofa.
I don't think they have ever watched so many dvd's in one day everGrin

Felt better this morning so not sure what it was, still feel sick but not nearly as bad as yesterday.

Have gone right off tea... Bllllluueeghh even the thought of it makes me want to puke. Didn't go off tea with the ds's so now I think this one is a girl.

Is anyone going to find out what they're having when the time comes?
we're not going to this time, which is odd for me as I don't do surprises.

Have a small but noticeable bump when in the nudey, which and 7+4 is shocking.

LOL, watched the last 30 minutes of Sister Act 2 on BBC1 earlier and cried at the end when they won the competition(Have you seen it?? blimey that girl can sing!!)....LOL.. Thats pregnancy hormones at full throttle for youGrin. The thing is I've seen it before about 50 times so it was hardly a surprise ending.

Hi all.

Def with you LTH on the crying thing. Blubbed whle watching neighbours last week (when stef had her baby for all those other saddies who watch it too!) Luckily was just with ds so no explaining required.

We didn't find out the sex last time and it was lovely finding out after all that work. Won't this time either I dont think. Think it is a boy again as I am feeling exactly the same as last time.

Last time most people guessed that I was pregnant when I went off tea as I was such a tea fiend before. So this time I have been making myself a cup of tea or saying yes to one when in company then letting it go cold and pretending it was an accident! Would be easier to just tell everyone!

saltcod · 28/05/2006 18:52

Hi all,

Can defintely identify with the eating tonnes to keep the nausea away....... I only put on 1 stone with dd..... but this time I think I'm gonna end up looking like an elephant! Can't bear the smell or idea of cooking though, so we're living on sandwiches, microwave meals, chelsea/hot cross buns & ice lollies (the last 2 being my current cravings!). Also have zero energy - didn't have this total exhaustion last time round either. Why do the models for maternity clothes never look like the beached whale that I feel I look like?!

We're not going to find out the sex of this one. We didn't last time round (but weren't given a choice then). I like the boy/girl guessing game!

MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 19:04

We will find out the sex LTH, i already have 2 boys squished in a small bedroomso if its a girl we need a new house super quick and if a boy then we can take our time (ish).

Bleeding today tho so unsure if we will get that far, is only light and is brown blood (old blood = brown blood = not too worrying??) would be having a period around now anyway. Haven't told mw yet as its light and period would have been around now ish and no pains other than the ache i have had from the start but will if it gets worse. I still feel slightly nauseous tho which has got to be good, hasn't it?

Sorry you feel so ill LTH, i was really sick with DS2 for ages and ages.

Nemo, will be thinking of you 2mo xx

Nemo1977 · 28/05/2006 20:54

hello ladies

eating tons and cant stop..currently munching through nachos with cheese and salsa...mmmmmmm

Bit scared about tommorow but generally feeling quite positive which is odd!

WE will try and find out babys sex this time but if anything like DD then baby will refuse to play although if you asked me now I would 99% say boy. Am also panicking a little about having 3 under 3.2yrs how the hell will I cope???

trinityrhino · 28/05/2006 21:21

hey all, I've just told DD1 that we're pregnant............and now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have. I dunno wjhy, she is over the moon but what if something happens or what if it was a false positive (can that happen)

oh I don't know, naybe it's just that I'm still getting used to it, so thrilled but a little scared, she is absolutely over the moon though.
When she went to bed she said "there are two things that are sooooooooooooo exciting happening"
" what are they darling?"
"you have a baby in your tummy..............my first tooth is starting to wobble a tiny bit"

How cute is that Grin

we weren't able to find out about the sex of dd1 cause of the area we lived in and with dd2 I was going to try and find out and then changed my ind the night before the scan so I'll see how I feel closer to the time with this one.

Have not stopped eating today, hugs to all Smile

trinityrhino · 28/05/2006 21:25

please talk to me Smile

MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 21:57

bleeding got worse :( thinking this could be the beginning of the end. am in limbo now :(

Nemo1977 · 28/05/2006 22:00

oh mom...i know its tmi but are there clots or anything? Go to your epu now and get checked out they can tell you if cervix is closed etc hun
thinking about youXXXXXXXXXXXXXXooooooooooxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 22:02

no, no clots just (close eyes if u don't want to read) was brown and light, now pinky browny red and not as light but still like a light period if u see what i mean. can't go to epu tonight i am alone with the boys (are they even open at night?)

have searched for number for hosp but until i calm down i won't find much!

sorry to post it on what should be a positive thread

Nemo1977 · 28/05/2006 22:05

mom dont be silly...honestly try not to worry that is exactly what I have had. I know it sounds mad but I feel more reassured by others having it.
TMi but have you been doing the deed lately as that can bring on bleeding on early in pregnancies
