MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 22:08

no, dp wishes and has been hinting but haven't done that, not recently anyway ;)

Is it wise to wait until morning and keep an eye on it do u think? or should i have another look for the number and ring now? or failing that ring my mum (who doesn't know) to come up and watch the biys while i leg it to A and E!

Feel so silly but never had any complications b4 so don't really know what your "supposed" to do!

Nemo1977 · 28/05/2006 22:10

mom what you are supposed to do is completely up to you. If you think you can wait till morning then do so as you are possibly more likely ot get scan there and then. Are you having any cramping or anything to go with it? Is the bleeding heavy or getting heavier?

MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 22:11

slight cramping but have had aches all along anyway, not heavy at all, like a light period but is heavier than this afternoon IYSWIM.

sorry to panic, feel very silly for doing it

trinityrhino · 28/05/2006 22:14

mum, don't feel silly, we all know what's like to worry about this kind of thing

hope everything is ok HUGS Smile

Nemo1977 · 28/05/2006 22:14

dont be sorry panicking is normal hun at end of day these are our little angels.
If you go to epu tonight they will probably do an internal and check bp check for water infections etc then book you in for a scan in next 72 ish hours. I say probably as in all my mcs or scares this is what has happened. It may help for the reassurance but you may however want to wait until your dp or a friend can go with you!!! It really is up to you hun

MerlinsBeard · 28/05/2006 22:17

thanks Nemo. Can't go tonight as DP is gigging and won't b back til the wee hours probably.

jessddibs · 29/05/2006 07:52

Good morning everyone! How are you all? Nemo and mum, hope all is ok..Smile Went to the inlaws last night for dinner, felt a bit sick and am still completley shatterd and my mother-in-law only bloody turned round and said "it's not an illness you know! when I was pregnant....." AngryAAAAAAAAAHHHH could I have screamed and thumped her or wat!! What would she say if I showed her this thread?!?! LOL! It took all my energy to keep my mouth shut! Gonna have to keep a wide birth till I am feeling a bit better.

Answer to the question, are you going to find out the sex? Yes, I think we probably are. First time round it was all alot more exciting, but now I want to be pratical! I don't want to waste time thinking a name up for the wrong sex! and I want to get the nursery painted to represent the sex, not just magnolia! And my partner really wants a boy this time...I don't mind...but he said it will give him a few months to get used to the idea if it's a girl!!

laughalot · 29/05/2006 11:06

Hi everyone hope you are all well im not to bad sick and tired !!!!! Mom hope the bleeding has stopped. We will find out the sex again this time did with my ds but had a amniocintisis with him due to high level risk for down syndrome, I keep thinking im having a girl but im starting to feel more like i did with ds so who knows. 4 weeks untill my holiday Grin

MitchMatch · 29/05/2006 11:14

Still bleeding (since Friday PM) and have had some bad clots so am pretty sure that it's going to be bad news at the scan tomorrow. Have tried to take it easy on the weekend but it's always in the back of your mind. I've been down the "what did I do wrong" and "this is just nature's way of dealing with things" routes, but none if it makes me feel better.

MoM and Nemo, you're both in my thoughts and I'm hoping for positive outcomes for you both.

Dragonhart · 29/05/2006 11:15

Morning all!

Just the thought of chilli at 7 in the morning has made me feel sick so I dont know how you ate it TR!!:o

Lovely dh let me have a long lie in this morning despite being crippled from pretending that he is young and fit and playing a game of rugby with old boys from his university! Last time he played was last year for the same competition. Think he has retired from rugby now!!

Feeling rubbish now though and just keep thinking that last time it took 14-15wks before I felt better and that seems ages away! Started a thread to get any advise for morning sickness and someone gave me a links to a hyperemesis gravidarum websit and made me feel like a bit of a moaner! Guess it is not as bad as that.

Big hugs to mom - hope that all is ok.

Dragonhart · 29/05/2006 11:16

Big hugs to you too mitch- sending lots of pos vibes for tom. and to Nemo too!

Mitchmatch hope all goes well tomorrow xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Loubie37 · 29/05/2006 11:58

MitchMatch, MoM & Nemo, I really do hope that it's good news for you at your next scans.

I've got one tomorrow morning but I feel like a bit of a fraud now as apart from the red blood when I wiped on Friday which sent me into panic mode again, there hasn't been anymore.

Does anyone know whether we'll see the heartbeat or not? I'll be 6+3 so it could still be early days? I don't want to expect to see it if it's not likely and then panic if I don't if you know what I mean.

I've been lucky morning sickness wise so far...although I've felt prestty sick at times, I've not actually been sick yet, I suppose there's time yet! Having said that, with my 2 I was fine for the first 3 months and then as sick as a dog for the last 6 months which I'm hoping won't be the case this time!

My boobs are still killing me, although I'm not complaining as it's the only sign I've really got that I'm pregnant at the moment, so it can continue for as long as it likes :o

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the Bank Holiday :)

Loubie xx
6+2

Nemo1977 · 29/05/2006 12:38

Mitchmatch and MOM thinking of you both hope everything is ok.

Well we had our scan and saw baby very very clearly. I am soooo relieved but have had my due date put back by 2 wks so now due 15th Jan. To be honest thats fine by me as gives me a slightly bigger age gap..lol

Will catch up properly later have a ton of cleaning and washing I need to catch up on.

Loubie37 · 29/05/2006 13:02

Brilliant news Nemo, so glad everything is OK :) Take it easy - don't do all that housework & washing in one go!

Loubie xx

Dragonhart · 29/05/2006 13:42

Great news Nemo!

Hope everyone has such god news!

Dragonhart · 29/05/2006 13:42

That should be good news! Not religious news!

skerriesmum · 29/05/2006 14:06

Afternoon all, well it's still morning here in Canada. Not feeling great today, think I did too much at the weekend. Bad headache and don't want to take anything... drinking water now hoping that will help. God bless the TV for ds!

2Happy · 29/05/2006 14:33

Hi,

Hope you don't mind me joining you, i am i think 6+4 and this will be my 5th baby. I am feeling quite anxious at the moment as i have had 3 previous mc's over the years and just want to get past 12 weeks so that i can relax a little.

I mentioned on another post that i was concerned because i felt that some of my symptoms were going, mainly the sore nipples, and was worried that this could be a bad sign. I have still been feeling quite sick over the last few days though. It seems to be mostly after i've eaten something and lasts for a couple of hours and then comes and goes throughout the day, so i suppose thats a good sign. I will be 40 in a weeks time so i feel that my age is a higher risk for miscarriage also.

I'm sorry for being so morbid, i'm a born worrier! Just want to add that i became a grandmother for the first time 7 weeks ago when my eldest DD had a little boy 2 months early, he weighed 2lbs 12ozs and is the cutest little baby i've ever seen.

Just hoping that other people will say that they have had experience of symptoms lessening aswell and that everything was ok.

Tracey
