Always call the mw if you're worried, but I did read somewhere if you have a cold drink, something sweet to eat and lie down quietly you should feel it.

I think they do have days of less activity, especially when they start to run out of space :) keep me posted how you get on.

SweetieTime · 23/04/2013 18:48

Can I ask my first paranoid preggo question? Please can you lovelies cast your minds back to when you first got your BFP. Do you remember if you had intermittent cramping? Mine has been focused in my left side next to my hip bone rather than front & centre womble area. It has been going on since the weekend and I just worried it could be something sinister as I don't recall anyone else mentioning it. I am sure it is the twins just settling in but am just a bit wary.

Lovely to see you here Sweetie tis the place for all preggo related mentaling! I had a lot of cramping in early pg, it was usually at the sides too. I was told about burrowing embys plus when your pg you make a hormone called relaxin which softens your ligaments ready for your womble to stretch, it can cause cramping as well as sometimes a sharp stabbing pain when you stand/twist.

Sparks really pleased twinks put in performance for you :)

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 23/04/2013 19:45

Ooh and let's remember Sparks our early cramps were with one emby settling in, Sweetie has 2 or 3 or 4 Grin

I would say Sweetie if it does worry you, contact your clinic, I haven't found anyone yet who minds me asking all sorts of questions (even some really odd/tmi ones Blush)

SweetieTime · 23/04/2013 19:49

Thanks for answering my mentalling I really don't want be a paranoid preggo. Sounds like my cramping is quite normal then. I would have known something wasn't right had I not have tested.

Sparks glad twinks has woken up when shown ice cream, a very good sign in my book

boo all virtual choc is also calorie free - FACT!!

SweetieTime · 23/04/2013 19:50

Boo maybe I should have paid more attention to this fred in the past Blush

I never came here except if someone sneezed, for fear of jinxing too...

I'm still crazy happy for you.

I had cramping too, nothing to worry about. Have you got painful wind yet? Mine seems to have eased, except at 3am last night I was bum in the air again. Sigh. It was Really Painful for a while.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/04/2013 07:18

Well that seems unreasonable Sparks, of course you're allowed to moan about that, would you like us to have a chat with Mr S and explain some rules to him???? Wink

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/04/2013 07:29

Who would like some tmi first thing in the morning?? I have just wiped and I have my 'show' Grin, I also have the start of I stinking cold (thank you toddly boo) which is quite appropriate really as a lady on another thread described he's show as looking like her fanjo had sneezed Blush I am also managing to poo for the second day in a row, which is almost unheard of Blush

Tmi over :):) as you were.

keepitgoing · 24/04/2013 08:16

Does that mean labour's imminent - I've not read that far ahead. It sounds lovely though - ooh, is that the mucus plug? i hate the word mucus

I feel dreadful today, as barely slept last night. Have come back after work at lunchtime to rest, skipping Thai class I can't face it.

But crisps go down exceedingly well

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/04/2013 08:28

Tis a very good sign Keep it does indeed mean I'm at very least getting ready for labour :) at last booby shows signs of wanting to meet us :):)

I think a fair few brookers have found that carbs have been really good at helping with the nausea/sickness, unfortunately insomnia is also common too :(

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/04/2013 08:30

Oh, and yes tis the plug also think mucous is a horrible word I also think saying I have had a show sounds so much more jazz hands and glittery than saying .'good morning my plug fell out' though Grin

SweetieTime · 24/04/2013 09:28

great news boo. I now have an image of bath plug with yellow duck attachedBlush

keep i obviously have those things to look forward to. am just ignoring boo reference to poo or inability to poo Hmm

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/04/2013 09:33

Grin yellow floating duck Grin

Don't worry about the poo troll not visiting, its mostly cos I can't have lactulose (too sugary with the gd and the alternative tastes bloody awful) I'm sure you'll be fine!! :)

keepitgoing · 24/04/2013 10:39

BTW sweetie is your edd around NYE...?

SweetieTime · 24/04/2013 11:23
