Just popped by to see how sweeties scan went, really hope all is well, and she is just quiet as still in shock from how many are in there!

I have just posted this in the TTC thread.

Sorry for keeping you all waiting, we went out for tea straight from the clinic. So you can imagine it was good news. We saw not only one little fluttering heartbeat but two!!! OMG we are having twins. She also said she couldn't tell if either had split again as they were both in their own sacks. It was amazing to see, we were both quite emotional. I still can not quite believe it. I know there is a long way to go yet but I am stunned.

Off for a lie down in a dark room now xx

She still could be Sparks they said they couldn't see the other 2 babies, not that they weren't there

I ignored that point you two when the nurse mentioned it. I can not believe there are even 2 in there at the moment.

I really can not believe it to be honest. I wouldn't have been shocked if she had said there was nothing to see. I think the lack of symptoms have made it more difficult for me to believe. Amazing.

I have rung my gp this morning and am booked to see midwife on Friday. Apparently I don't have to see the dr. She did ask where I would want to have the babies I haven't given it any thoughts. I am sure the midwife will talk me through it on Friday. Does dh need to come to this appointment? I forgot to ask

loopy my official due date at term would be 31st Dec but they said twins are often earlier at about 37 weeks.

Your booking in appointment is a lot of information given, full medical history taken some history about Mr S too so it might be helpful to take him as second pair of ears as I suspect your information will be double different to what I had as you're a twin mummy. At mine I also had to do a urine sample (you might want to get used to having a little pot of pee in the bottom of your hand bag ) and blood tests. You should also be given your notes to keep hold of.
