Hmm starting to really wish I had found out now!! After 2 DS's the odds are 70/30 BUT only one of our boys was put there by DH, so I think that can change the odds as it is DH's contribution that decides the sex.

keepitgoing · 21/04/2013 11:28

Ah, I didn't realise. Ooh that's high, but yes maybe it's the sperm. Or I've heard it's your, ahem, environment. Ah well, we'll find out soon WON'T WE BOOBY!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/04/2013 11:36

Oh gosh now I am confused, we will know soon enough!!!

Ooh sounds lovely Sparks booby will be sharing with toddly so at the moment it is cream with accents of pirate and Thomas the Tank engine Grin but not for a while s/he will be in with us.

Put pics on our FB when it's done also, I think we are overdue a twinkle bump pic???

keepitgoing · 21/04/2013 11:46

Nice! We think at the moment we won't find out. I always thought I would but I think all the intervention makes me want a surprise. But I will have to be stern with the clinic I think.

Make MrS get you some....
I just had a lovely swim, it really helps with nausea, I only have low level though, and assuming it won't get worse, ie if it was going to be hideous it would be already...?

Extremely jealous that you are so hot you need to hit the pool!

Sparks I'm so sorry you're still having problems with your sleep, it is miserable when you're tired

Still no sign of booby, at the midwife for a check up (fx she will try another sweep) 7 days till induction :):)

What's a sweep, do I want to know?

I am going with all the drugs I can get. Let's bookend this pregnancy with drugs. I don't see any point to suffer any more than you have to.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 22/04/2013 11:37

I like your theory Keep :) a sweep is nothing to worry about, just a little tickle on your cervix - don't read the next bit Grin

Just got back from the mw, and the news is tmi warning my cervix is a little thinner and booby is fully engaged Grin she could still only fit one finger inside but she did say she finds it quite hard to reach cos she has really short fingers Hmm she said she tried to push the head back a bit to see if it will move but it wouldn't budge, so we are ready to go go go:):) she couldn't say if this sweep would have done anything but it will all be over in a week one way or another.

keepitgoing · 22/04/2013 12:07

Ps I think swimming would be amazing in late pregnancy. Unfortunately I'll be home, and cold, by then...

Oh boo that sounds like good news.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 22/04/2013 12:16

It is good news Keep Grin. I was swimming until a few weeks ago and it is very odd, booby loved it and the water takes the pressure off your joints but because I couldn't feel the weight of the bump I kept rubbing it to check it was there Blush Grin

I know Sparks it has showed actual interest in coming out. Nothing exciting to report after my sweep though. I had lots of back ache and increasingly painful BH's yesterday but today seems to have gone back to normal Hmm

Where are you on the count down? About 5 weeks??

Ooh, 4 weeks, that's really soon :):) I would invest in some tops that are maternity/breast feeding tops (if you plan to breast feed) so they will last a bit longer than just pregnancy iynwim.

I am also getting quite impatient now, I really thought there was some hope yesterday but only 6 days to wait!!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 23/04/2013 09:17

GreenOlives · 23/04/2013 10:13
