I'm finding carbs are my friend - pizza and pasta for tea tonight Blush

I'm not actually vomming, just feeling permanently sick - like travel sickness. It's been better today, which of course worries me that symptoms are subsiding

FriendofDorothy · 16/07/2013 22:20

I had a Dream Genii pillow. I loved it. It was like a threesome in out bed.

The Mister, me and the Genii.

Nokkie73 · 17/07/2013 13:36

That there pillow I bought is now my best friend. I want to take it everywhere. I had a fantastic night's sleep and even woke-up dribbling

I have just been to a training session and I think I felt the nipper move. I am totally overwhelmed. As I'm typing, I can feel it again. I think he must like bananas and four cheese Count on Us ravioli from m&s. wow !

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/07/2013 14:38

Sorry to say I've started bleeding. I've called the EPU and they can't fit me in for a scan until Friday morning. I'll let you know more when I can.

fertilityFTW · 17/07/2013 14:57

WTF, Friday?! Angry
Hope it's a false alarm Franks - will be thinking of you and sending sticky wishes your way.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/07/2013 15:06

Only positive is I'm not in any pain at the moment. Nurse said that was a good sign.

Friday's just shite though!

fertilityFTW · 17/07/2013 15:21

Friday is ridiculous - I'd have worked myself up into a serious situation by then just through worry. No chance you can sneak into a neighbouring unit or something?

Hope it's just a blip at the beginning of a happy road ahead, seem to be lots of tales of early bleeds with healthy outcomes.

pinkr · 17/07/2013 16:40

Thinking of you frank
Maybe your gp could check your cervix for you at an urgent appointment? Or call the unit first thing and see if they have a space come up.

Nokkie73 · 17/07/2013 21:01

frank I really hope it's nothing serious. Friday morning is a bit shit though - if you get too upset, can you turn-up to the Early Pregnancy Unit and just ask to be seen ? I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you. Xx

SinkyMalinks · 18/07/2013 07:52

Erm. Thought I'd move over to save the besh from my incoherent ramblings...

It seems I'm part of the uber BESH cluster diff. I took a test because of some vague symptoms before taking provera.

I have absolutely no idea how far on I am. By last period it would calculate 16 weeks! (It isn't. I'm certain. I think)

I have a GP appointment on Friday to beg ask for a scan ASAP.

Can't quite believe I'm posting here...

Frank. Are you ok today?

FriendofDorothy · 18/07/2013 08:17

I am so bloody jealous if you are 16 weeks - all the worrying bit is done!

Great news for the massive-cluster-diff. Hope those who haven't managed it are ok.

SinkyMalinks · 18/07/2013 08:21

I know. I was saying only a few day ago that cluster diffs were the hardest for those left behind.

I don't really know the etiquette of sticking around. I will continue to slink around the fringes for the time being (until told to piss off)

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 18/07/2013 08:35

Thanks everyone. As I've said over in BESHland, I don't appear to have bled overnight and there is just a teeny bit of old brown blood when I wipe, remnants of yesterday maybe? I'm going to the loo every half an hour to check at the moment, but I think I'll be doing that all day regardless.

I'm still analysing every last twinge I feel, plus the fact I don't feel as nauseous as I have over the last week is worrying me a bit.

My BF is taking me out for lunch, bless her she's offered to drop her 7 month old off with her in laws in case I don't feel up to seeing babies. HWHNN will be home this evening so he can come to the scan tomorrow.

FriendofDorothy · 18/07/2013 08:39

Stick around. I hope people don't feel like I am that last person at a party who just won't leave sometimes. I would miss the BESH if I left and I try not to rub anyone's nose in it. I don't always succeed though and have been known to accidentally upset someone.

SinkyMalinks · 18/07/2013 09:04

Frank your BF sounds thoroughly excellent.

JethroTull · 18/07/2013 19:02

Frank it's hopefully good news that the bleeding has stopped. How was lunch with your BF? What time is scannage tomorrow? I'm here for hand holding whenever required.

Sinky Grin welcome & congrats!! Let us know what doctor says about how far along you are?

This weather is killing me. My feet are hideous. I also had random pins & needles on & off today. Phoned midwife, she wants me to go for a blood pressure test on Sat if the pins & needles carry on.

Noks how did the pillow make you have a better nights sleep? I've seen them but am confused what I'd do with one. I need something though because I'm not sleeping well & it's making me more vile than normal

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 18/07/2013 19:16

Thanks Jeffers, scan is 8.30 tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll have news either way by mid-morning.

I've had a bit of spotting this afternoon, but it is very definitely old brown stuff and I've felt quite queasy for most of the day, so I'm holding onto hope at the moment.

pinkr · 18/07/2013 21:14

Hope all goes well tomorrow frank...no pain and stopped bleeding sounds positive and i've got everything crossed!

Hey sinks...good to see you! Tis I, bluer, in disguise Grin

Nokkie73 · 18/07/2013 21:30

slinks wow - congrats ! That is spectacular unknown diffage if you are 16 weeks. Good luck for tomorrow !

franks best of luck to you too. Unknowingly, I also bled twice early on. Old blood and red blood so, as everyone has said, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's all over. With any luck, it means that the embie is snuggling down in your womble and making itself comfy. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Xx

jeff I have slept really well since having it. It basically cocoons you so whichever way you turn, you have support. It's in a 'U' shape and you pop yourself in the middle of the u. Mine is nine foot long so it reaches my feet. I can sleep on my side or on my front (with the pillow wedged Inbetween my legs so I don't squish the nipper). I highly recommend one. Blimey, that's the longest pillow monologue in history.

JethroTull · 18/07/2013 21:47

Good that it is early on Frank, will be thinking of you.

Thanks for pillow info Noks, I think turning over is what wakes me up so maybe it would help. 9ft is also good considering I'm 6ft. Was it an on line purchase? I'm also thinking I need one of those balls to sit on. I'm just not comfy on our sofa however much I move about.

Just been for tea with my friend & had a spritzer - I'm living on the edge me Smile

Nokkie73 · 18/07/2013 22:25

I got it on t'interweb jeff. From that there Amazon.

Tea, jeff ? Are you of a northern persuasion ? Wink

SinkyMalinks · 18/07/2013 22:41

Jeff, not that I know anything, but the majority of my breeding friends rave about that dreamgeni pillow. To the extent it was taken on weekend aways, long journeys, just in case...

Pinkr. Subtle change! Naice to see you again? All good?

I'm sure I won't be 16 weeks. I have crazily irregular periods. I've hit morning (afternoon and evening) sickness for the past week. So my money is on 7-8 weeks

If I can't get a scan for soon next week I'm going to throw money at the problem.

Frank- I have every appendage crossed for you tomorrow.

pinkr · 19/07/2013 00:16

All good...five Weeks till I get to meet our wee girl! Or sooner as I'm too big and so is she due to diabetes.
Have my friend staying tonight with her three and two year old kiddies...took over two hours to get them to go to sleep...they're great kids but it made me very tired, hope its different with your own!

JethroTull · 19/07/2013 06:57

Thinking of you this morning Frank.

Grin at 'my breeding friends'. I'm ordering one of those magic pillows today. Woke up almost every hour and sometimes with cramp in my legs too. SSG slept in the spare room so hopefully he's had a better nights sleep - no point both of us being miserable.

Noks I wouldn't say Northern, more Midlands. But I eat breakfast, dinner & tea GrinGrinGrin

Going to preggo yoga / hippo birthing this afternoon.

Pinkr have you done an anti natal classes? Written a birth plan? What is a birth plan - get it out pretty quick please?!
