MissOtis I've missed your name change - enlighten me pliz? Grin

MissOtisRegrets · 11/07/2013 09:49

I'm dead. Daddy killed me.

Grin
MissOtisRegrets · 11/07/2013 09:54

(Just clocked that I'm always choosing dead people for my usernames...not sure what that says about me!)

MsJupiterJones · 11/07/2013 10:15

That was very sinister MissO. But I worked it out.

JethroTull · 11/07/2013 13:13

Nope. No idea!! Smile

FriendofDorothy · 11/07/2013 13:21

Me neither.

JethroTull · 11/07/2013 16:48

I had my midwife appointment earlier, had my Anti D injection, heard the heartbeat & she said everything was good. I'm measuring the right size, which made me feel relieved as people kept saying that I only had a little bump. Am meeting my friends for dinner later, it's such a beautiful day, we're going to a pub with a beer garden. I may even have a spritzer! Grin

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 11/07/2013 17:12

I know who she is Grin

If I said dwarves talking backwards would that help?

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 12/07/2013 07:52

How are the PESH doing today. Hope all the little ones and heavily updiffed are coping with the hot weather.

Well, after reading the What does Morning Sickness Feel Like? fred in Cinception I am now prepared to say I have it! For the last 3-4 days I have just felt queasy All. the. Time. Eating helps, as does drinking tea but it never quite goes away. I haven't been sick or even gagged but it's like a constant travel sickness feeling. Not pleasant, but yay for a symptom!

pinkr · 12/07/2013 08:23

I have never felt so blooming hot and uncomfortable In my life! I'm also starting to get this weird feeling...a mix of total fear and excitement! 6 Weeks to due date and I can't believe it.
frank I was only sick a few times but I had the constant icky feeling...I found salt and vinegary crisps helped! I love tea but went right off it strangely enough...started drinking a lot of milk. I have been getting through three points some days although the diabetes has stopped the need for our pen cow

TWinklyLittleStar · 12/07/2013 09:37

Feeling tired today, and quite flat. I felt very sick yesterday. I find cheese and onion or ready salted crisps help. Laughing at frank being pleased to feel crap :)

I am thinking maybe.I conceived very late in the cycle. We had the sechs on CDs 10, 12, 14 & 16, then not until CD25, so if I didn't ovulate until then it would explain all the negative tests until CD40, and why the dildocam couldn't pick up a sac.

Nokkie73 · 12/07/2013 13:51

Hurrah for voming frank. I felt mildly queasy about twice. It went the minute I stuffed any kind of cake/biscuit/chocolate/sweet in my fat gob. That's probably why I now have fat feet.

I went out last night. And I am going out again tonight. I am so rock and roll. Strangely enough, this not really drinking malarkey is actually fine. I had a small glass of red and really enjoyed it. I wasn't that arsed about having another. I thought it would be a problem (in terms of the going out with others who are supping vast quantities of wine) because drinking vast quantities myself used to make me feel all warm and cuddly inside (and used to make the rage disappear Grin) . I just thought I would share this with you as I eat my box of salad, which has been lovingly prepared by Dick Turpin's brother who wanted £6.75 for that and a measly piece of quiche.

pinkr I am sorry you are feeling The Fear. Being heavily preggo in this weather cannot be fun. X

twonks I also ovulated at a very strange point in my cycle. One week after my bfn after ivf. Very odd indeed to pay a random egg at that particular point in time. Sometimes, our bodies don't follow the rules do they ?

jess did you have your spritzer ? Mmmmmmmmmmmmm love spritzer s in the sun.

Hello to everyone else. What are we all up to this weekend ?

Noks xx

Nokkie73 · 12/07/2013 14:05

Lay a random egg. Not 'pay' for a random egg.

That'll teach me for typing that last message using only my fat feet.

TWinklyLittleStar · 12/07/2013 15:11

pinkr I can't believe you only have 6 weeks left. That's flown by! It only feels like yesterday you told us you were diffed.

norks I hope that is a bloody nice piece of quiche. This weekend I am working, so on Saturday I will mostly be standing outside for hours boiling alive in a yellow coat. On Sunday, less standing and no coat, so that's better.

I threw up quite spectacularly not long after my earlier post. Cherries look very dramatic on the way back up.

pinkr · 12/07/2013 16:17

It has flown by! I've been careful not to moan too much as so far i've had an easy time!
Been to hospital today and kitted out with a monitor to test blood.. They'll decide on Monday if I need to go on insulin injections eek! Also been told if I do I'll be induced at 38 Weeks but even if I don't they won't let me go over 40...guess this baby is coming soon Grin

fertilityFTW · 12/07/2013 18:39

fresh blood! or lack thereof! how luffly!

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 13/07/2013 19:14

Even more fresh blood on the way Grin

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 16/07/2013 08:16

Hello PESH, how are folks doing?

I'm 7 weeks today and riding out the morning, aka ALL DAY, sickness. I had a rough weekend but things seem to be settling down a bit today.

FriendofDorothy · 16/07/2013 08:40

Oh poor you. Must be hard to feel so crappy all the time.

pinkr · 16/07/2013 08:57

Try to keep eating frank...whatever you fancy and little and often. Also keep sipping water! It'll pass soon and then you'll get the glow

pinkr · 16/07/2013 08:58

Nokkie73 · 16/07/2013 13:26

Congrats frank a brilliant milestone. Sorry that you still feel the need to vominate (my friend's little boy's work for feeling sick - love it).

In other news, my feet are quite painful. They did go down for a day or so but are now swollen again. The telly tubby midwife I saw yesterday literally couldn't give an arse about them, so I was none the wiser about how to deal with them.

How is everyone else coping in the heat ? X

fertilityFTW · 16/07/2013 13:52

Ooh, I suffered horribly with the hippo feet, Noks. Was told to keep them elevated - which doesn't help if you're on them all day Hmm. But at night I'd stick a couple of pillows underneath and that helped when morning came around- they were swollen by evening again though. And soon enough you can't lie on your back anyway so it becomes even more awkward to elevate them in bed. I also didn't realise that after you've laid baby they become even more ginormous! My DM was in a panic when she saw them and was insisting I get to an HCP immediately (they were clearly a horrific sight) - but MW said they'll calm down in a few weeks - and they did.
I also ended up with chilblains because the weight of the pregnancy combined with swelling and the wearing of flip-flops (it was still chilly then but nothing would fit) - totally messed with my circulation.

JethroTull · 16/07/2013 20:00

Frank sorry about the vomathon. How are you sleeping? Up to about 14 weeks I could have easily slept all day.

I've got the elephant feet going on too . I try to elevate them but isn't lying flat on your back meant to be bad for differs as well? You can't win. The heat is making me a moody cow as well. And tomorrow I have a meeting in that there London which starts at 8am so have to get a 5.30am train. Nice.

Nokkie73 · 16/07/2013 21:24

This bright idea about keeping your feet elevated is fine if you're a bat. More difficult, I find, if you're a functioning human being. I have them elevated now but find that makes my back ache .

In other news, I ordered a nine foot long pillow to see if sleeping gets easier. This may seem random, but stay with me viewers. I keep flipping onto my front in the night and then waking up panicking that I have squashed then nipper. So, off to google I went and got me one of these snaky pillows. Anyone else have experience of these ? I hope it works because I love my zeds.

ferts your story of trotter woe had me in bits. Thank fuck it had a happy ending. Grin

jeff you're coming to That There London ? Watch-out for the bounders, rotters and cads. Oh, and the murderers, thieves and scoundrels. And the robbing fuckers who charge you two quid for a bottle of water.
