Sounds sensible re the exercise pinky. No sense in pushing it. I've just started exercising again walking round the village pushing the munchkin. I read it's good to take them out in the fresh air in the day to encourage good sleep patterns and the exercise and fresh air is doing me good physically and emotionally.

I'm quite excited, today we're off to a breastfeeding shoot with my local BF support group. I saw the photos they did last time - very classy b&w shots - and I really wanted to do it. I feel like establishing BF was a big trial and I want a photo to commemorate this :)

FriendofDorothy · 03/06/2013 11:23

We are having photos of Edward taken ever 2 months as part of a yearbook. The last session we did there were some breastfeeding photos. Haven't seen them yet so I am curious as to whether they will be nice or whether I will look dire.

pinkr · 03/06/2013 21:02

Hurrah! I thought I'd killed the Fred! Company!
Ooh breastfeeding photos sound interesting. A guy at works wife is trying to start up doing those funny posed photos but he says they need to be less than a week old to get the photos to work....think he could tell bi the look on my face i'm not keen! The thought of someone fiddling with my little baybee like that its A bit strange. They don't look boondoggle!

pinkr · 03/06/2013 21:03

eh? I've no idea what boondoggle is! I meant comfortable!

HadALittleFaithBaby · 03/06/2013 21:18

That sounds a bit odd pink! All ages having photos today. I sat in a rocking chair. We'd never have managed at a week, we'd only just established feeding and I had to use the nipple shield all the time. I wouldn't have been confident enough then!

Those photos sound luffly dor - you put some on t'other place yes?

Wish I hadn't gone into work. I owe them 50 hours apparently (they didn't give me enough when I was working) and when I go back I'm meant to go back to the ward I don't like. Just hoping it'll all be different again by the time I go back. Right now I don't want to!!!!

Second night in a row Faithlet has gone to sleep by 8.30! So nice to get something of an evening :)

FriendofDorothy · 03/06/2013 21:41

I haven't seen the breastfeeding photos yet.

We had a newborn photoshoot done pinkr. It was fabulous and I love to see the pics of my lovely boys feet and things like that.

I'll friend you on the t'other place and then you can see some of the pics. We had to go before he was 10 days old.

FriendofDorothy · 03/06/2013 21:48

Actually, pink, are you on FB? Can't remember what your Proper Name is?

pinkr · 03/06/2013 22:34

Yeah on the group...I will request you!

pinkr · 03/06/2013 22:37

She didn't want bf pics but those ones where the baby is contorted into odd positions! I wouldn't mind a normal baby shoot but these ones just looked weird to me!

FriendofDorothy · 03/06/2013 22:57

We had a few pics of him asleep, but more normal Looking ones I think.

pinkr · 04/06/2013 22:03

Oh the pics are lovely dor!

FriendofDorothy · 05/06/2013 00:26

A bit cheesy but I love them!

pinkr · 06/06/2013 20:54

I got toothache a few Weeks ago and the dentist thought the root was infected but was reluctant to xray...he dressed it and it settled down until Monday night, I have spent the last three days with a constant throbbing and have had to be drilled twice in two days as the nerve couldn't be reached the first time. I hate the dentist Angry although the dreadful throbbing seems to have finally stopped and has been replaced with a general tenderness! I may finally sleep tonight!

pinkr · 08/06/2013 05:22

Well time without tooth pain lasted exactly 21 hours..am currently in throbbing agony and have an emergency appointment at 930 organised by the lovely nhs 24 nurse I was crying down the phone at. Bloody tooth! And I can't tell you how many people have nodded sagely and said you think this is bad wait till labour. . Fuck right off...Angry Sad

HadALittleFaithBaby · 08/06/2013 06:18

I know someone who had awful toothache and she said it was worse than labour pain and she's had 3 kids! At least with labour there's an end in sight and you know there's a positive outcome!

pinkr · 08/06/2013 07:53

Yeah i'm pretty tired of the blooming thing now...can't understand why the dentist hasn't been able to stop it! Plus the injections are seriously ouchy! Ah well at least the treatment is free....

pinkr · 09/06/2013 20:28

So far no tooth pain...hoping the nerve has settled at last. I am officially an idiot....bought a cresent shaped bf pillow and was exclaiming to Mr df that the stupid thing was really tight and uncomfortable, he suggests trying it on one side in case that's how to use them. I do this and it still seems really near. The dawning realisation that my stomach is really pretty huge atm hit us at the same time and we can't stop laughing Smile

HadALittleFaithBaby · 09/06/2013 22:02

pink glad the tooth is better. Re the pillow, I had google it to check I was using it right!

We had a nice day, been to see family in Cambridgeshire and introduce Faithlet to my Grandma :) generally she was settled and cuddly although we had to stop halfway home in a layby on the A1 to feed her!

Backinthebox · 13/06/2013 16:41

Hello, long time no see! I'd just like to make a little request please. Could you take my name and child's details off the not-list? I think there is nothing at all that I have in common with anyone here (and I don't mean that in an unpleasant way, I just put things bluntly, that's all!) other than that I have been pregnant at some point in the past and you lot are or very recently have been.

Ta muchly and happy cake carrying,
Boxer.

HadALittleFaithBaby · 13/06/2013 16:46

Ok will do next time we start a thread.

FinallyMrsFC · 13/06/2013 16:47

Please could I ask the same? I don't know any of you and it feels weird being at the top of your thread. I wish you all the very best and easy sneezes x

FannyPriceless · 13/06/2013 17:15

Hi, yes please could you take my name off the list when you start the next thread? I haven't been around here for ages so it doesn't feel right to have my name attached to your group.

Keep up the swearing, and all the best!

TinksStinks · 13/06/2013 21:51

Me too - CluckyKate....my latest baby is 2.5 now and I'm not planning on having another one.

Fishslaps all round xxx

SilverSky · 13/06/2013 22:12

Moi aussi please. I'm not listed twice. Wishing everyone easy-easy-sneezes. Ta very much.

pinkr · 14/06/2013 20:33

Well the tooth saga continues...flared up really badly and I asked for it to be pulled. Went today and a twenty min appointment turned into an hour and fifteen...lots of tugging, slicing and cracking and she couldn't get the whole thing. Ended up with stitches and the bruises on my face from her fingers ate evident already. The throbbing pain has been replaced with a general overall pain wahhh!
