Hello and welcome to another shiny fred for Just Shagging graduates!

The last fred was nice and busy so fingers crossed we get lots more members Grin

We've just moved over from the Shagged Out Viroids Volume 5 thread, where we finally found out that a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!
The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

Our stats thread is here, so if you find us, please add your stats too.

There is also a Just Mumming thread for grads of the grads thread Confused Grin

And if you want to find out what Just Shagging is about or catch up with the undergrads go say hello to the Just Shaggers here, now on the 12th thread Thanks

Nope, no running around at all thanks wing! I had a 2hr nap yesterday lunchtime and a lie in this morning until 9.45 so feeling well rested for a change. We went for a nice wander around Canterbury this afternoon it was very pretty. Just about to tuck into shepherds pie for dinner, yummy. Happy wrapping x

WingDefence · 23/12/2012 22:09

I had a two hour nap too today! And DS had an afternoon nap - first time in over a year probably that he's napped in his bed and not (say) when we've been driving.

Unfortunately that meant that he's been up and down from his room until 9:25 which is completely unheard of but we think he's asleep now, finally!

I got every pressie wrapped for DH bar one so I banned him from the lounge until I'd done that last one!

Night all Xmas Smile

Happy christmas for tomorrow (when I'll be absorbed in cooking a massive duck and watching crap TV)!

Had my dating scan today, I'm 12+5, and baby is fine and wiggly! It's actually starting to sink in that I really am pregnant!

tiredteddy · 24/12/2012 18:11

Yay persuasion especially lovely on Xmas eve. X

WingDefence · 24/12/2012 18:32

Oh that's great news Persuasion!

Well DS is in bed after a nice bath, new pjs and dressing gown, milk and a mince pie out for Fr Xmas and 'reindeer food' (oats and glitter) on the path. After he got up and down for a couple of hours last night, it does appear to be all quiet at the moment...

I'm planning on not coming online at all tomorrow so I wish you all an extremely Happy Christmas, free from stresses and strains. Xmas Grin

Happy Christmas

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 25/12/2012 18:31

Taking a moment to MN and wish everyone a very merry Christmas.

Great to have a lovely scan on Christmas eve Persuasion glad its starting to feel a bit more real.

We too did new PJs and drink for Santa last night. Both DCs were so excited it was a bit later than usual but at least they slept well.

It's been a successful Christmas here it seems, though DD keeps asking for more presents!

Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow for Christmas drama updates. Am now going to stare at DHs bottle of port longingly and munch a huge box of Thorntons whilst watching Room on the Broom. I love Christmas Xmas Smile

WingDefence · 26/12/2012 19:54

Evening all!

Hope you've had lovely Christmas Xmas Smile

We're heading down to London early tomorrow morning to catch up with friends and family although plans are a bit fluid as my uncle is seriously, terminally ill with cancer and everyone is taking each day as it comes. He just wanted to make Christmas this year Sad and we are hoping to see him on Friday afternoon. I am under no illusions that it is going to be horrible but I cannot not see him. I mean, it must be far worse for him and my auntie/cousins so why should I be selfish and not see him?

We were going to be down there for DS's birthday on Sunday but due to issues with my brother various reasons, we are now driving back on Saturday late evening with DS in his PJs and so will be home for it. I must get him a birthday card!

Aaaaanyway, I am also staring at DH's large glass of Wine while I munch the last few of my box of maltesers. I did treat myself to a nice glass of red yesterday with lunch but that really does mean I can't have another one as much as I'd like to.

Apart from tired, does anyone else just completely forget that they are pregnant a lot of the time? I do! Xmas Blush Even though I am in full-on maternity clothes and hoovering on Xmas Eve was actually quite painful in a ligament-stretching way! I really could neck a load of wine right now but obviously I won't!

Right, back to the footy...

tiredteddy · 27/12/2012 23:35

Hi wing hope you visit to London and your uncle is ok tomorrow. Will think of you. I def can't forget I'm pregnant that's for sure. I've got a good waddle going on now! We saw my dsis and her DH today ad its her birthday. we went to Canterbury it's beautiful. Packing up to go hone in Tbe morning.

tiredteddy · 27/12/2012 23:37

Hi Something it can be very overwhelming for little ones. I remember ds1 being like that on his first birthday. Hope you are feeling ok. Baby might turn yet. Mine was transverse until quite recently.

Pineapple80 · 28/12/2012 02:32

Hi all. Sounds like you all had nice Christmases. Ours was lovely too and my turkey turned out nicely!

Wing - I hope all went ok with your visit to your uncle, thinking of you...

I'm currently at our new house, waiting for delivery of our fridge! They have us a 3 hr window for a delivery and without any furniture to sit on, it is very uncomfortable on the floor! Speaking of uncomfortable, I think in finally getting too pudgy for my favourite jeans so have used the hair elastic trick which is working great!!

Not much else going on over here. Can't believe it'll be end of the year next week. Have you all got plans? We are having a quiet one with SIL and family.

StuckOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 28/12/2012 17:27

Happy late christmas all!

Has been lovely here - mum came to stay from overseas and much as its been lovely to spend it with her and the in-laws we are finally glad to have the house back to ourselves (and much JSing!!! its as if we're trying to get pg again!!!)

Definitely not feeling pregnant anymore - keep having to poke the small bump thats appearing to check it is a firm pregnancy bump not just flabby fat from the christmas food! I'm now 17 weeks so keep lying still to see if I can feel anything but nothing at all so far! At what date have others felt their baby for the first time? I can't wait till it happens...

Have had my results come back from the Quad test today and very relieved its low risk (given that I'm going to be an older mum) so we don't have to go down the amnio route which was at the back of my mind lately. Although I will probably still be on tenterhooks till the 20 week scan in January for some more reassurance that all is ok.

We talked about New Year and if the weather stays mild we are thinking of getting wrapped up warm, heading for some high ground to see if we can see the fireworks over Manchester. I've never been a fan of boozy crowds at New Year, so this suits us perfectly!

Take care everyone...

somethingwittynot · 28/12/2012 22:45

I have a scan on new years eve! :) then staying in for the 2nd year in a row. Think this baby is head down now as getting alot of pressure in my hip though DS was breech till 34 weeks

tiredteddy · 29/12/2012 14:22

wing hope the visit to your u cle want ok? Has it been your DS birthday yet?

pineapple new fridge., new house, so exciting! Sounds like you are settling in. Tell us about the house please!

stuck 17 weeks already that's flying by. Bump growing nicely? Good to have no symptoms, I wish mine would disappear but I suppose they will vey soon Blush

something how nice to have a scan on New Year's Eve, do you still think it's maybe a dd? You are being very strong willed not finding out. Loving you FB pics of your DS he is very cute!

We are back home now. Just about unpacked from our Xmas week away. I'm laying in bed watching bbc ip,yer and catching up on all the crappy tv I missed Grin DH is entertaining the boys, they are making a playmobil city downstairs. Very sweet. Had some very groovy two-tone hunter wellies for Christmas, I'm going to look cool on the school run now! Wink

WingDefence · 29/12/2012 17:22

Hi all - just a quick one!

DS's birthday is tomorrow and we saw my uncle yesterday afternoon. It wasn't as horrendous as I had imagined in my head and doing it the coward's way ie when my parents and a couple of my cousins were going round made it far more bearable.

We've just had a lovely mini party for DS with my aunts and uncles (not the ill uncle obviously) and my cousins and their children too. Manic in this rented apartment but just lovely. Unfortunately my brother couldn't make it with his children so it's been 6 months now since we saw them but not my choice...

We're just about to have a quick chippy tea and then heading back home at 6ish.

Sorry I'm not replying to anything you've said above but I'm on my phone and can't scroll up to check!

Hi all! Well I'm ready to pop now that's for sure. Does anyone have exciting plans for nye? DH is at work in the morning. Pil are calling by at lunch ti deliver more baby goodies (we have been very spoilt by them, not sure where I'm putting it all though!) then we are all going (boys too) ti our friends house for the afternoon / evening. Plan is for a walk/ movie then dinner maybe sparklers and sky lanterns when it gets dark. Then seeing if we can stay awake until midnight!

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 30/12/2012 16:59

Ooo Tired that sounds lovely. As does the late night walk Stuck.

Glad the visit to your Uncle wasn't too bad Wing and happy birthday to your DS - saw the FB picture - very cute!

Re. NYE, we are hoping not to fall out and row like we did last year and the year before we are not really a couple that 'rows' so it seems to be an odd new years 'tradition' and one we could do without Xmas Confused

We are seeing my parents tomorrow, which given that we saw them three days in a row last week we could probably do without, but hey ho, I know Christmas is family time. Just feel like curling up for a few days and not being sociable - we got back yesterday afternoon following an overnight visit to MIL. It was fine but a bit sick of chatting now. Anyone else feel all talked out or it is just me sounding a bit bah humbug?

When are you due Tired? My best friend is having her c/s on 14th Jan and I can't wait for newborn baby snuggles...she can't wait to get the baby out of her!!

Really must go and make dinner now instead of MNing but it's been ages since I read/posted anything that I wanted to see how you're all getting on.

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 30/12/2012 17:00

p.s. am a bit Xmas Envy of your wellies Tired. I ofetn admire Hunter wellies but can't quite bring myself to pay for them Xmas Blush

tiredteddy · 30/12/2012 17:53

I know what you mean about the wellies guinea DH had obviously spotted me admiring them. They are lovely and were a great suprise! Due on 18th jan so just under 3 weeks to go. Buggy being delivered next Friday. Then everything is ready I think. yes I do also need a rest from socialising, I'm planning on being a hermit when the boys go back to school until baby arrives! Sleep and reading is all I plan to do!

somethingwittynot · 30/12/2012 20:07

I have my growth scan tomorrow at 32 weeks im guessing bean will be 4lbs 9oz but ill probably be wrong!

Have a major urge to sort tiny baby clothes tonight

Practisingparent · 30/12/2012 22:34

Hi all,
Its been a while from me. Glad to hear all is going well. Im a bit Envy tired, that you dont have long to go. I am really sick of all these pregnancy twinges and aches, and feel huge already, would be nice to know that Im due within the month when in actual fact I have till the end of April to go! But am also really gratefull for this amazing little baby, and also some time to sort stuff out.

My sis just gave me 2 extra large vac pack bags of second hand clothes, am in some desperation as to sorting through and finding places for them all!

Will be keeping a closer eye on this thread from now on as ladies begin to pop.... exciting times!

Happy New Year all! [shloer all round] Grin
