Have had back pain on and off all day and some pain in groin are but dont know if i am just having wishful thinking. Totally ready for this baby to be here as feel guilty on my other 2 children as got no energy to do much with them so they end up bored.

Agghh. Dash has been screaming blue murder for the past 4 hours and nothing is calming him. Enjoy your peace while you can ladies! Those who have DCs already- is it normal for them to scream like this?

Erm gone from nothing to a huge pain at 7.30 now having pains lasting 30-60 seconds every 3 minutes. Constantly feel like I need to poo. I think my baby might be coming!

honey, DD had a 'niggly' period from 5pm onwards for a couple of hours. I think it is very common and afaik it is termed as colic. nothing would placate her, just getting thru those few hours. however it could be a one off with Dash, hope he settles soon

Common honey I'm afraid. Some people swear by infacol so maybe worth trying that for a bit.

Thanks- have fed, winded, changed nappy etc repeatedly. Was just getting worried as he sounds like he's on pain and won't stop. Luckily DH has just got home from work so I immediately gave him the baby to give me a break!

Got home from hospital yesterday, felt miserable all night, so have resolved to be in a better mood today.We have been and got our christmas tree and started to decorate the house. DH has done an amazing job cleaning the house and has used all of the vacuum cleaner attachments He even cleaned the cobwebs in the conservatory and dusted the TV with the duster tool. He is at the top of my list of amazing things at the moment.

We have decided not to try and anticipate the baby's arrival anymore. We have upset ourselves with all the the positive 'signs' last week and then nothing. So we're now putting our focus on getting through all the inevitable bp checks and blood tests that next week will bring and seeing about having a baby sometime after that

DH has been taking my blood pressure regularly all weekend and it's high all the time, so that's the hospital's anxiety theory out the window
