Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Clarella · 07/12/2012 22:50

Oh pmjkt sending positive vibes and hoping all goes well

I had that once Brooke, looked in toilet bowl and it was like a long thick fat white spaghetti (but much thicker) - I assumed discharge as once Googled pics of shows and mucous plug (your eyes will hurt) after a hilarious but useful thread in the pregnancy forum.

pmgkt · 07/12/2012 22:51

The reason I can't feel it is the fluid, I do feel movement and kicks but more as floaty movement rather than jabs. And certainly not pain. My fluid levels are off the chart!

Cookiesandcoffee · 07/12/2012 22:51

brooke you did make me laugh so thank you! I'm a miserable moody bitch so well done ha. Grin I've had that for a while, on and off, looks like a huge glob of clearish snot and v stringy? I found a massive slug in my knickers yesterday. Vile. Does this sound similar?

This evening I have painted my finger and toe nails, shaved all my unwanted bodily hair (lady garden included hurrah! just) and covered myself in a gradual tanner .. I'm clearly not going into labour anytime soon, I'm far too 'prepared' I've clearly jinxed myself into the 42 week club now Ha Hmm

Cookiesandcoffee · 07/12/2012 22:53

Hope bp comes down sharpish kate and best of luck at the hospital pmgt do keep us updated if you can wont you.

pmgkt · 07/12/2012 22:56

Will do cookies, strangly enough I did the whole body hair thing this morning ahead of a spa day tomorrow and see where it got me!

Clarella · 07/12/2012 22:58

Oh maybe I have then - it was whitish clear no colour at all though.!

Hope things improve soon Kate

Well done willyule! I had no idea there was one!

brooke89 · 07/12/2012 23:01

Thank you everyone - glad I made you laugh cookies and yes does sound similar to everyone else's, hmm could it be plug or is a snail living up there too?

Clarella · 07/12/2012 23:04

It could be bits of plug but I know mine was when cervix definitely tight and posterior. It renews its self continually. A friend once said 'I was worried I would miss a show - but how can anyone miss THAT!'

Cookiesandcoffee · 07/12/2012 23:12

pmgkt maybe I should have booked a spa day! Sods law and all that. hope youre ok. Tomorrow deffo isn't the day as someone is having Dd tomorrow night- this baby is far more awkward than to be that helpful and arrive when it's convenient !
Yes clarella I heard it can renew itself as well, I lost loads at 34ish weeks, then nothing for ages. I lost extra lots after my sweep (this time was bloody but think that was from sweep) but now everything has died back down again. I'm hoping brooke this wont happen to you and you'll go though this just the once. I guess it's all a sign of the cervix doing some work (she says- hopeful !) are you still high and posteria clarella ?

itsMYNutella · 07/12/2012 23:22

Evening everyone!

I'm trying to keep up, honest! Congrats to all the new mummies!!! How many have we got of what flavour so far? I have totally failed to keep track!

DP came home this evening, gave me a hug and then kissed my bump and said "I love you".... I almost cried! Soooo cute.... Xmas Grin

Anyone that wants to vote for willyule in the christmas name change doo dah ... I think you can do it here

StrawberrytallCAKE · 08/12/2012 01:39

Quick update....I had Phoebe at 9.56 this evening and she weighs in at 10lbs 2oz.....out in two pushes but I've had some stitches. She would have arrived earlier but for me freaking out about internal examinations, full blown labour lasted less than 2 hours.

Full birth story later, I'm so relieved Grin

StrawberrytallCAKE · 08/12/2012 01:44

Ooh also don't want to scare anyone with the stitches part, they didn't hurt a bit and I'm ridiculously squeamish!

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 08/12/2012 01:52

Congratulations Strawb she's a big one! Glad everything went well and hope you manage some rest tonight Thanks

Bellaboo123 · 08/12/2012 02:08

Congrats on all themes babies Thanks and good luck to anyone being monitored.

eggnog re pooing after....I went no problem on day 2, is put a pack of dried prunes and a pack of dries apricots in my hospital bag and snack them after birth and am still snack days later...made all the difference no pain when I went! Or try prune juice, anything to ease things! I had stitches too!

2blessed · 08/12/2012 02:24

Congratulations acj, mamapo, alison and strawberry. What busy day!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/12/2012 02:27

Congratulations strawberry

I'm awake with mammouth back ache urgh!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/12/2012 05:10

Waking up and desperately needed a wee is not aided by a 39 week bump!

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 08/12/2012 05:39

I think you and I are on the de non-sleep schedule stacey!

I just woke up after 2.5h sleep to be sick, lovely!

olliebob · 08/12/2012 06:29

Congrats strawberry. I also finding it very difficult to sleep at the moment, although last night was a bit better, undisturbed from 11.30 to 3, but since then in and out and now up with ds cos couldn't sleep. Well due date today and if anything like previous two will be at least another 12 days, totally fed up now of it and had a good cry to dh last night cos of lack of sleep and being uncomfortable. Think i need to keep myself more busy now otherwise the next few weeks are going to stretch on forever. Sorry for the bit of me post.

SpottyTeacakes · 08/12/2012 06:43

Wow strawb congratulations! I'm very impressed! Envy

EggNogMichelle · 08/12/2012 07:00

Congratulations Strawb, another speedy birth, well done!

Good luck pmgkt, hope you don't spend too long on the ward and home soon.

Thanks for poo advice, just had branflakes, raisins and orange juice (Felix kindly let me put him down long enough to prep and eat it!) so hoping some gentle movement will follow, bit of a change from the in readable loose bowels I had in the week before birth, assumed it was down to the cold but since I still have the cold it must have been the 'clear out'.

yuletopian99 · 08/12/2012 07:21

Congratulations strawb, that's a super encouraging story!

Just had another wake-up-actually-screaming nightmare, have only been getting them since being pregnant.. Not nice.

brooke89 · 08/12/2012 07:31

Congrats strawb lovely name Thanks

2blessed · 08/12/2012 07:36

Hope you're feeling better willyule, I was a biy nauseous last night and it reminded me of the 1st trimester...

New bed is being delivered today!

Clarella · 08/12/2012 07:51

Congratulations strawberry! Well done you!! Another lovely name :) and wow what a size!

Eggnog try a lot if lactulose too, mw told me the other day that people don't take anywhere near enough of the stuff!!

I know it's the internals I'm going to find hard :/ going to have to apologise in advance!

I'm not speaking to my cervix.
