SchroSawMummyRidingSantaClaus · 03/12/2012 19:36

Just heard about the DoC, hope she is okay HG is fucking awful. Can't believe the news said it was rare though. Hmm

Still not sick this time! I am over the moon. :o

princessllama · 03/12/2012 19:49

Raquelw. Sorry you're having a horrible waiting game.
Bessie hope everything is ok.
Paolo- is zumba big in sweden? It looks great, i keep meaning to do it.
Poor princess katherine, hyperemesis would be vile.
Photographerlady- yes, if i'm feeling pants i do put the badge on. I know i'll be feeling fine at 20 weeks (if 2 last dc's same as this) and wont be needing to sit whereas now it really helps( and i dont have to say i need to sit or i think i will vomit Xmas Grin

Guavasforbreakfast · 03/12/2012 21:01

It's not me - my tablets are keeping me securely out of hospital, not doing a great deal for nausea and exhaustion though! Dr said 'try not to take it'...?!? Why give me it then? Have managed to go down from 3 to 2 a day, but can't go back to how it was.
There endothermic my rant Grin, congrats to the DoC, hope she reveals her baby names so I don't accidentally choose the wrong one and look like a royal copycat Hmm

Guavasforbreakfast · 03/12/2012 21:02

Ahk, ends not endothermic?! Wth? Predictive text on the iPad is ridiculuous.

Guavasforbreakfast · 03/12/2012 21:03

And it didn't correct ridiculous. Go figure.

Mizar · 03/12/2012 21:19

Guavas - I just love the idea that your iPhone thinks you are more likely to use endothermic in a sentence than ends!

How far along do we reckon Kate is? Less than 12 weeks, but would she make our list?!

Raquel - so sorry about the limbo you are going through.

Mizar · 03/12/2012 21:19

iPad even!

SundaySunshine · 03/12/2012 21:21

Hello again everyone,
I've been completely floored by MS these past 4 weeks (and no, although I may like to think of myself as a princess I'm no DoC) anyway tonight is the first night I haven't gone to bed at 7 with DD, so I thought I'd catch up... 3 hours later!

So much seems to have happened. Sorry for those who have had bad news. Thinking of you bessie hope you are ok.

dinky I've got my scan on the 13th too. It's been a long long wait. Good luck for yours Smile

Re stretch marks, I got loads when as a stick insect teenager I grew hips overnight, so when I was pregnant with DD I slathered my self everyday from neck to nethers in cocoa butter and didn't get any, or so I thought - the following summer whilst prepping for a beach holiday I tidied up my bikini region and found a brace of them hiding! It had gone a bit Amazonian down there in the later stages of pregnancy so the cream didn't reach Blush. I guess the moral of that tale is that cream works and your never too pregnant to wax

Cheeseandbread · 03/12/2012 21:24

I've been feeling the Rage myself at school today. Then felt a bit teary at lunch.

Thanks orange for advice on tingley boobs and flu jab. Why do you need to have it before 12 weeks does anyone know?

Exercise wise I do Pilates once a week, only started at the beginning of October. Told instructor DH and I were trying for a baby and then told her as soon as I got my BFP- it did feel strange telling her before friends. She said that I could do exercises as long as I don't feel uncomfortable.

Has anyone read about the whooping cough jab? I think that one you have later on I think.

On a totally random point woke up the last two mornings with slightly bloody nose... Pregnancy symptom?

Good luck to all having scans.
(Bit of a long random post- sorry)

elliejjtiny · 03/12/2012 21:29

I was going to ask which one of you is the duchess of cambridge but someone else got there first Grin. I came over all soppy when I heard the news. Prince William is almost exactly the same age as me so the idea of my baby and his being the same age too makes me go awww. I blame the hormones! If she is 10 weeks or less she will be one of us. Welcome to the thread your highness if you're lurking!

SundaySunshine · 03/12/2012 21:34

Oh that's a good point Guava re names. The bloody Camerons named their daughter the same as mine. Luckily mine came first, just, because I might have seriously considered changing it at the time - it doesn't bother me at all now though, as I'm sure Dave will disappear back into the obscurity that he crawled out from soon enough Grin

orangebubbles · 03/12/2012 21:51

She's so lurking. Evening Kate, mum to be Grin

cheese bleeding gums and nose bleeds here and had same with DD. Oh and Flu jab done anytime during pregnancy, they just want you to have asap. here's link for flu and whooping cough jabs.

Really hoping bessie is ok

Sunday sorry you've been suffering too.

Ragggggggge is out of control, honestly, I just flew off the handle at DH for NO good reason and then burst into tears! If I was him I'd divorce me today!

Thinkingof4 · 03/12/2012 21:52

It is lovely about Kate and wills but what a shame she is so unwell, hopefully she will be able to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy once she is past the early days. My dh was like 'pah hospital for morning sickness' till I explained hyperemesis is a bit different from just a bit of puking.

mcktastic that's funny that you are going there too, I don't think dr was very impressed when I turned up with my 3 kids (plus dh) but we had no-one to leave them with and they were pretty good, and mostly stayed in waiting room!

missmaybe · 03/12/2012 21:58

Ah just call me Princess MissMaybe. I'm not, but I quite like the sound of it, so go ahead!

ohgood, so pleased for your good scan results. That must be a real relief.

specialknickers (and anyone else experiencing The Rage) - I am veering wildly between rage and hormonal over-emotional gushing. When the nice man at the station cafe gave me my steamed milk for free last week, I nearly cried! Best of luck for your next scan.

Cheeseandbread, yes, apparently being more prone to nose bleeds is a pregnancy thing. Go figure. I think it's to do with the increased blood circulating around the body or something I'd better not try to explain because actually I have no clue!

orangebubbles · 03/12/2012 22:23

News at Ten speculating she's 8 weeks! I wonder if you'd get good odds on laying a bet that your baby would be born on the same day as the Royal couple's?!!

SlouchingPanda · 03/12/2012 22:55

Evidence that I am her Katiness
I am 8 weeks pregnant
It is my first child

Evidence that I am not
I have stretch marks
I like lasagne (a lot)
And custard doughnuts

I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions, but the very lovely Mrs Windsor doesn't look like much of a carb loader to me...

In other news my cold is still here, but morning sickness has vanished. I really don't feel very pregnant at all, especially as tired and grumpy is my default state, even before pregnancy.

marimama · 04/12/2012 01:18

A quick check-in! From my bed at 8pm! Can't make it a moment longer. Too bad i have piles of work and piles of clothes to fold. Those will have to wait as i am tired and have lots of burps. Love pregnancy.

Congrats to duchess! We share the same first name (albeit diff spelling), but i am not her. :)

I hope bessie is just absent today because she got good news, ate a big bowl of ice cream & went to bed early. Fx

Rage continues. Now that my parents-in-law have gone home i am finding all kinds of kitchen items wrongly stored, food items poorly packaged in refrigerator. Rage indeed!

BoyMeetsWorld · 04/12/2012 05:47

Just need to vent. Been in hospital since 11pm. Started bleeding so went to A&E (had bad cramps too). I've had bloods taken, bag upon bag of fluids pumped into me & being scanned at 8am for suspected ectopic. Worst thing is I'm not allowed to sleep- they're waking me every 20mons as my blood pressure's too low & im on a ward with a woman who keeps screaming in her sleep. Just want to know now if this baby's real & go home Confused

BoyMeetsWorld · 04/12/2012 06:25

& now it transpires mirena coil puts you at high risk of ectopic pregnancy AFTER removal. Well....nobody warned me of that

RacquelWelsh · 04/12/2012 06:40

Boy.. fingers crossed for you. The waiting is the pits. Hope everything is good for you.

Thanks to everyone who's wished me well, it helps to have support as haven't told many people. Pretty sure I'm out of the running, Sad won't go into detail, still have scan on Friday but feel relatively ok.

Good luck to everyone, especially those having stressful times. Thanks

BoyMeetsWorld · 04/12/2012 07:34

Massive good luck to you too raquel - thanks so much. 1 hour til scan here Hmm

SundaySunshine · 04/12/2012 07:55

boy sorry you've had a rough night, good luck for the scan Flowers

orangebubbles · 04/12/2012 07:56

Oh boy Sad good luck for the scan, thinking if you and hoping it's not ectopic x

racquel sorry it's not looking good. (((Gentle hugs)))

RacquelWelsh · 04/12/2012 07:56

Virtual hand holding you Boy. Not long to wait now.. X

SundaySunshine · 04/12/2012 07:59
