orange yep, mother nature does have that way with most of us! I thought I would find it quite hard to give up alcohol, especially at this time of year, but I really haven't fancied it - in fact the smell of it on DH's breath can be enough to make me heave!
Well, I had a bit of a miserable evening yesterday. As all the books suggest, in an attempt to ward off the night time sickness, I forced down a bedtime snack, only to feel it coming back up moments later. Unfortunately I didn't quite make the toilet and threw up all over myself and the bathroom floor, promptly stood in it, went flying and ended up on my backside in the middle of it all! (Feel free to LOL - it was a proper slapstick step-on-a-banana-skin moment and would have been quite funny if I hadn't been so upset at the time)
Poor DH got back from the pub to find a nicely pebble-dashed bathroom and a freshly showered but tearful wife, frantically googling "falls in early pregnancy". Fortunately it seems that a minor fall, especially if you don't land belly first is unlikely to do any damage, but of course it has not stopped me worrying...
On a brighter note, as I may not be able to check in for a couple of days now, I'd like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy Christmas
, may you all get thoroughly spoilt by loved ones and those who are suffering, find enough of a lull in the nausea and exhaustion to enjoy the day, at least a little bit!
