People who have had babies before, what were your signs of early labour?

I have feet up in between my boobs again! Trying to poke them back down so I can breath. Hope mini eggs turns round soon

When I had my scan on thursday I could see the face so clearly! It was great

Photos up! Limited time only one of DD and I just because I love it and wanted to show off excuse my belly button, it didn't do this last time, hoping it means this baby isn't back to back!

I have a friend of mine who is into amature photography coming round tomorrow to do a "Bump" photo shoot!
Not my thing really but as this is last preg, and as I've felt like crap for most of it I thought it would be a nice thing to do!
If any turn out nice I'll pop them on MN.

She is also coming back while the baby is still tiny to do new born shots of him,

Had baby shower last night and didn't get in til nearly midnight. I'm knackered. Ate too much too so didn't sleep well. Nevermind it was a nice evening. X

walnut your bump is very impressive! Mine sometimes goes that pointy shape although I'm bigger all over than you are so it's not quite as dramatic.

Ugh, I couldn't sleep till 3am cos I was looking online for a sink unit for the bathroom that we've decided to have redone as soon as i start maternity leave which may be a week before the baby comes. Tile shopping today. Perhaps this is my version of nesting. There's certainly no oven cleaning going on here!

Ok spotty think your a bit bigger than me, nice neat bump! Your DD is too cute for words! What a lovely picture. walnut your bump is impressive, If mine was like that I might have more room to breath instead of baby being all up and inside to the back (hope that makes sense)

I can really feel her bum pushing out ... one of the midwives I see said that my anterior placenta is also causing the shape. Lo is actually really low down (I can feel something little right down there ... as in scary low). Have not had any indigestion or trouble breathing but do get rib pain.

Love all the bump pics, so many beautiful bumps, amazing they are all so different!

Alison I love the idea of proper newborn shots. I didn't get any with DD and regret it a bit.

Still no DH (9.20pm here) grrr.

Yep wednesday morning, I'll be 33+6, we can compare! I'm hoping my measurements even our a bit! Yeah AC is abdominal circumference :)

Hmm something odd is occurring here. My dmum an dsis are picking me up for lunch, one of my bf's has written something about travelling 3 hours to share her friends special day and I just bumped into another one in Starbucks and she was acting shifty. Either I haven't been invited to something or I am about to get presents for the baby how will I act surprised? Or how will I act not disappointed? Argh!

Haha I will smile and then cry...I'm really not a very good actress though and I'm terrible at accepting pressies!

I had growth scan but could barely see anything because the baby is so big now, no profile or face shots just a couple of measurements then done!

My growth scans have been like that - I couldn't really get a good view of anything ESP the face as he was face down in my placenta, as always. All I could really see were indistinct shapes.

Ooh hope it is Strawb if not try not to cry or sulk!

Just been to parentcraft class, it was good. Answered a lot of questions and showed us round the delivery suite.

How exciting a surprise baby shower, have fun! Walnut I'm 36+2 so we are very close in dates, mine is only pointy when he sticks his bum out, or a foot. He does like stretching a lot, which leaves me gasping in surprise and discomfort.

Have definitely over done it this week, whilst parents were helping clear my house a bit, I lost the peripheral vision in my right eye, then lost the sensation in my right hand and right side of face. Was very scary but resting seemed to fix it all!

My stretch marks from dd have come back I don't care about how they look but they're so painful this time. Anyone know what I can do?

Going to the cinema tonight for the first time since before dd was born!!

spotty your DD is adorable what gorgeous colour hair. Bio-oil for the stretch marks or camomile lotion?
