New thread!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
utopian99 · 03/11/2012 09:33

willyou your post just made me laugh out loud (assuming it was a typo!)

FriendofDorothy · 03/11/2012 09:43

I have had a yellow/green discharge and haven't done anything about it either. Blush

I just worry about being seen as an over-anxious first time Mum!

SpottyTeacakes · 03/11/2012 09:51

So tired dd had us up loads with a cough, her throat gets really dry and she refuses to drink! Then once she finally slept she was snoring so loud I couldn't sleep Hmm I've only just got her dressed and I'm still in my pyjamas. Need to Hoover and do the washing plus should pop to tesco but I just want to sleep!!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 03/11/2012 10:02

Yep typo, I noticed after post but really couldn't be arsed to do anything about it! Although if I did need a poo in the night I'd definitely get up! You take your poos where you can get them at this stage Grin

Walnut8 · 03/11/2012 10:32

Yep will report when I have results back eggs and friend - it looks like it won't be until Weds though next week! Glad I'm not the only one ... TBH I have had it on and off for most of the pregnancy but every time I get around to thinking I should get that checked, it goes back to normal white.

fandango you certainly do! Grin

spotty after three rounds of colds I know that feeling far too well Sad Hopefully she has a long nap today and you can have a rest too? Popping to tesco reminds me I really should think about setting up a weekly grocery delivery like I did when DD was young.

SpottyTeacakes · 03/11/2012 10:40

She doesn't nap anymore really but hoping for a snuggle on the sofa also think that the housework and tesco can wait for dp Grin

Not got anything in for lunch but could rustle up a leek and potato soup or marmite pasta......

StrawberrytallCAKE · 03/11/2012 12:02

Yum I love marmite pasta...nigella's best dish Grin

EggsMichelle · 03/11/2012 12:20

I'm one of the rare few who really don't know if they love or hate marmite. Wouldn't enjoy just eating it on toast, but is really nice in gravy and sauces.

SpottyTeacakes · 03/11/2012 12:27

My mums like that Eggs!

We went for soup in the end and dd is having seconds so good choice. Her cold is getting worse by the minute though poor poppet

brooke89 · 03/11/2012 13:28

I have ate so much marmite on toast since being pregnant! Yummmm going to have to make some now!

I went and had a swab about the snot like discharge - hospital said it was a uti and thrush, nice! Quite common apparently in pregnancy, they gave me a course of antibiotics for the uti and a pessary for the thrush. Nightmare with the pessary as kept thinking I was going to poke bean in the head and wasn't putting it in right, 3 prescriptions later and it finally worked haha!

utopian99 · 03/11/2012 13:53

I always liked the idea of liking marmite Hmm but in reality i definitely don't like it on toast. Do love twiglets though, and make gravy with marmite and redcurrent jelly..

CODwidow · 03/11/2012 14:00

cookies if forgotten who it was that shared the date, I've also had some lovely snot like discharge but pains seem to have settled a little and the pressure below has eased a little so glad about that, I'm happy for her to arrive late November so I've had a wordGrin

pmgkt · 03/11/2012 15:13

Dating, I just found you on an nct thread, you aren't far from me, I live just outside fareham, and you say southampton area. A special local welcome.

PurplePidjin · 03/11/2012 16:46

Pmgkt, I'm also local in that case :)

cherrypiew3 · 03/11/2012 16:53

Hi Dating I am 34+5 and dd is transverse at the moment my ribs are taking a battering, I also have a small bump measuring almost 3 weeks behind have been having growth scans all the way through so I know baby is ok. At my mw appointment on Tuesday she did say that one of the reasons bump is small could be due to how dd is lying.

Stacey Hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Honey Glad to hear little Dash is doing well.

Well have brought the last few items for my hospital bag today so just need to pack it all now. Dh is starting to panic that if she does not turn we could have her in 3 weeks and he is starting to panic me.

SpottyTeacakes · 03/11/2012 16:59

Well we are meant to be going to fireworks tonight but I think DD is too poorly. She can't stop coughing, runny nose, temp 37.7..... It's the cough I'm more worried about because it means it's all in her chest. She really wants to go though so I don't know what to do! Going to be 6 degrees and we'd be outside for two hours

WillYouDoTheFandango · 03/11/2012 16:59

I seem to have a lot of rage these days, but I'm annoyed yet again! Grin

DP has yet again told me that he doesn't want to go to the 1 off baby class I booked us onto next Saturday. He says "Everyone I asked says it's a waste of time and we don't need to bother" I have politely explained that I don't give a fuck what anyone else says and I am well aware that he is just pissed off as he will miss a week of playing Saturday league football. This is the 4th time he has raised it, he even asked me to ring the midwives and ask if they could do one on a weeknight instead so that it wasn't a Saturday! what planet is he on?

I am going to stick a fork in his eye if he so much as mentions not going next week! Or I may cut his cruciate ligaments so he'll never play again! Neither of us have any experience with babies and I really want a tour of the baby suite. It's one day 10-3 FFS! Angry Angry Angry

SpottyTeacakes · 03/11/2012 17:03

Angry for you WillYou

EggsMichelle · 03/11/2012 17:22

Oh don't cut his cruciate, he will be on crutches for months, moan about how much pain he is in, and be completely useless. Will be like looking after two babies. Just kick his knees really hard, he will have recovered in time for the birth.

PurplePidjin · 03/11/2012 17:39

WillYou, he should have stated his objections before you booked it. It's too late now!

emilyeggs · 03/11/2012 18:09

Sounds like dd is a bit too poorly spotty Sad maybe you could buy some fire works for when she's a bit better

WillYouDoTheFandango · 03/11/2012 18:15

Good point eggs duly noted. To be honest pidj he did but as he works 6 days and plays football on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday his available options were thin on the ground! It's the free nhs one so not like you can pick and choose. They do one day each month and that's it!

Sorry to hear about your dd spotty

SpottyTeacakes · 03/11/2012 18:19

Well we've stayed in and we're getting an Indian instead Grin hopefully will be able to see some out the window as there's a few displays going on tonight. Good idea about getting some sparklers or something. Typically dd is full of beans now! Still coughing though.

emilyeggs · 03/11/2012 18:37

Even better spotty it will all be half price tomorrow/Monday Grin

EggsMichelle · 03/11/2012 18:43

I washed all the baby clothes on a short 30c just to freshen them up, and some red dye from a second hand sock ran on one of his beautiful brand new white sleep suits :( he's not even had a chance to poo in it and stain it himself.

On a plus we are having bonfire food in the comfort of the living room, too cold to go out!
