likewise Dixie ! and I don't iron either

If there is any truth in the old wives tale that heartburn means a hairy baby then I must be having a gorilla. I had to crack open my new box of rennies whilst waiting to pay for them this afternoon.
Has anyone elses morning sickness come back? I was randomly sick this morning but then felt fine again immediately afterwards.

tits I agree with those who said call your midwife and beg. You cannot function as you are. I really feel for you. I feel fed up with it all and there's nothing actually wrong with me, so I can't imagine how it must be for you :(

For me, a posh sleep suit is one with built in scratch mitts!

MissMummy1 · 18/10/2012 23:03

Me too kirrin I'm now buying rennies in bulk from amazon! As for ms, I was really really sick on tuesday night/all day wednesday. Not sure if it was ms, a dodgy pizza or a 24 hr bug. Given I'm fine today and dh survived the pizza, I think it was probably the latter!

By posh sleepsuits, I mean ones that are too nice for just sleeping in!

MissMummy1 · 18/10/2012 23:09

Also, I only iron work shirts/blouses. If immediately hanging them up in the airing cupboard when they're out the machine doesn't do a decent enough job. And occassionally as a special treat to myself, bed sheets (saddo). Does that make me a 'slummy mummy' already?!

Iheartpasties · 19/10/2012 00:07

well I'm just cheking in - it's 10.00am here, and I am disapointed that there we no babies born while I was sleeping Grin

MissMummy1 · 19/10/2012 00:21

I have a laptop again!!! After throwing it at DH in a hormone-fuelled strop about 5 months ago, he has finally recovered it from the dead for me Grin. It's 6 years old, crapper than when I bought it (won't connect to internet anymore unless through a cable) but it's been everywhere with me and I am very attached to it. And it works again! won't throw breakable things again

blonderthanred · 19/10/2012 00:49

Glad you have a laptop again MM. I have a couple of posh sleep suits my mum bought from the White Company, the rest are mostly Boots/H&M/Supermarkets. I am sure the baby will save its most explosive poos for the posh ones!

I'm having a bit of blood, it's brown so I think it has just been dislodged by the sweep. I was a bit worried about meconium but I'm pretty sure my waters haven't broken.

Went through all the Tens/yoga/massage stuff with DH tonight in case anything happens. Baby very active and I'm having some BH. Hope you all have a good night's sleep and anyone progressing into labour gets some rest tonight too.

horseylady · 19/10/2012 04:24

I can't sleep :( I feel sick I think I might actually puke and generally feel like I'm getting something :( my body feels so heavy :( and hot and shivery. Not good.

CandyPop · 19/10/2012 06:47

horsey how r u feeling now? Hope ur ok

kirrin I've had random episodes of ms too the last week or so. Very strange. I get very bad acid reflux so thought be its something to do with that.

Had a glimpse at my stretchmarks again and it looks horrendous . It's like spaghetti junction . So bad that I started looking at options of getting rid of them . Didn't know u can get laser surgery to get rid of them. ! Although of course no point doing that if we're gonna have more children...

36 weeks 2mo. I think my pregnancy has been relatively smooth and easy compared to some but god I'm so over being pregnant . I want this baby out very soon, she jjust needs to hang on for another 2 weeks whilst I finish work then ill be onto eating mass amounts of pineapple and plenty of curry and sexy time Grin ... Maybe not all at the same time....

I'm so so so ready for this baby to arrive now!! Sorry to hear you are feeling rough horsey. Can you have a warm bath maybe?

StuntNun · 19/10/2012 06:55

Detective remember you won't need extra hangers once baby's born because half of the stuff will be in the washing machine at any one time.

Pasties there could have been babies, has anyone gone quiet?

Blonder meconium is bright green, you wouldn't miss it. And while it can be a sign of distress it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. So if you do see meconium get medical attention right away but don't panic too much.

Today was supposed to have been my last day of work. I'm a bit sad about the redundancy as I left with a whimper rather than a bang. Sad I had a good working relationship with people across the company so today would have been a fun and exciting day showing off my bump and promising to bring the baby in. I do feel that I'm missing out.

Must pack my hospital bag today. 20 days to go!

Horsey, sympathies :( also feeling pukey, but it's crazy baby movements making me wonder which end will explode first :(

Am so angry right now, not gonna bother explaining why but needless to say DP is not on my Christmas card list Hmm

Was it Sophia talking about positioning? I wouldn't worry too much, just keep doing what you are doing. There is no way this baby could be kept LOA! I've woke up to find it there this morning, but throughout the day it flips to ROA ROP direct OP LOA and LOP. I'm just learning to be grateful that the child is head down!! When it's not your first your baggy uterus gives much more play space Hmm unfortunately!

ValiumQueen · 19/10/2012 07:01

If you are month better horsey do think about being seen, or at least have a day in bed.

Iheartpasties · 19/10/2012 07:02

oh yes - maybe catbag has had her LO's?!

stunt Will you still take your LO in to show it off, or will you really not want to do that? A shame that you dont get a big celebration on your last day at work.

ValiumQueen · 19/10/2012 07:04

Sorry stunt

Iheartpasties · 19/10/2012 07:11

detective explosions?! ut -oh!

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/10/2012 07:16

I have to sleep on my right all night atm, my left arm hurts too much from the WC jab to sleep on that side.

Need to take ds to docs today but our surgery is so busy you have to physically go down there at half 8 when it opens to make a same day appt so that's what I'll be doing at that ungodly hour (I don't usually eat washed/ dressed til 9!)

Lilliana · 19/10/2012 07:21

I've had a few days of feeling sick in the mornings. Haven't actually been yet though.

So glad it is the weekend tomorrow as not slept well the last couple of nights and really overdid it a bit at work yesterday. While marking after schoool I got flashing lights in front of my eyes but didn't last to long or come back so I'm guessing it's ok.

DH and I are going out for a nice meal tonight. Really looking forward to it, I just hope I don't fall asleep ing my dinner!

I'm guessing something is happening with Catbag, hope she is snuggled up with her little ones.

Hope you are ok Detective

Good luck to the people having c sections / sweeps / inductions today. Will be thinking of you and look forward to hearing about your babies and births

ValiumQueen · 19/10/2012 07:24

Yes, thinking of those going into hospital today x

georgee · 19/10/2012 07:27

Yes, best of luck everyone! x

horseylady · 19/10/2012 07:32

Morning, it was really odd last night?! Feeling better this morning but I felt really small in bed and like I had giant hands??!! You know those like out of body things? Am wondering if I have mild uti as drinking and weeing lots? I don't see the mw till next wed though. It could just be late pregnancy of course!!

Today I'm not doing a huge amount anyway so will relax as much as possible.

horseylady · 19/10/2012 07:32

Oh and good luck to those having sections!!!

TheDetective · 19/10/2012 07:39

Good luck Petit and Nervous!

I have a midwife appt this morning. I am vowing not to moan Grin

Going to try and do the things I've been putting off all week! Am just grateful I managed to wash AND dry my hair yesterday, so I can get away with it today just.

Wonder if I can find anyone who wants to do lunch. I'll have to go and text people I suppose! I quite fancy a lunch out now baby seems to have stopped making me feel explosive (had to get up out of bed to achieve, but hey!)

horseylady · 19/10/2012 07:44

Oh detective you've just reminded me I'm meeting with the baby group at 230. Perhaps I am a bit busier then!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 19/10/2012 07:45

Morning, thanks for your messages yesterday. I am meant to be phoning the Mw today anyway and I'm also meant to have a physio appointment that ironically I can't physically get too so I'll have a chat with her on the phone too.
Although last time I spoke to my consultant she just said she is keen to make these last few weeks as easy as possible but it's not their policy to induce until term (40 weeks) for SPD. That is still 3. Weeks away!

So another day in for me by the looks of things, DP was called into work this morning so I won't be getting anywhere.

Good luck to the ladies having their babies today! I hope everything goes smoothly and you're happily snuggling your little ones by tea time :)
