Now I am planning a trip to a bakery or cafe tomorrow.

YellowWellies · 16/10/2012 12:32

Ahhh it wasn't so bad, I topped up on a calcium supplement (cream cake) for junior to give me energy to get back up the hill. Grin

YellowWellies · 16/10/2012 12:34

MM I bet after the birth your DH will cave to your ideas - he'll be in awe of you after labour. That's how my sis managed to get her first choice names for both of her two kids!!!

Touch wood - we both agree on first names with no squabbles and have similar ideas for second names. Certainly the short list is only 3-4 long for middle names now. We will need to take the list to hospital as my memory is totally shot now! My sister has suggested some lovely middle names Aurelia / Aurelie which means dawn. Errr and I can't remember the others. Balls.

ValiumQueen · 16/10/2012 12:41

Balls is different. Might catch on.

Do share your names pasties

ShellyBobbs · 16/10/2012 12:43

Wonder how GT is doing, bet she's had him now.

ValiumQueen · 16/10/2012 12:45

I hope so shelly

Iheartpasties · 16/10/2012 12:53

aurelia - love love love this name!!!

I have been wondering about gt

Our names are all Cornish ones. My dh loves Perran and I love Jory. I think they are both very unusual outside of Cornwall! Girls names seem easy peasy as there are loads of gorgeous ones. My pick for a gilrs middle name is Loveday :)

georgee · 16/10/2012 12:54

Ah ladies you do do me good, just back from a morning's play date (where I consumed 2 x rocky road cakes, 3 x pancakes and one tray bake cake - it was just me and another lady visiting my friend who had baked and the other one was on a diet so of course I had to step up ... anyway, I digress) and there's all sorts of interesting stuff on here from toes to sleeping to pooing to Maxi Cosi car seats. BTW dixie I took my cover off too and instantly regretted it, particularly when DD decided she would snap off some of the polystyrene padding for the actual seat (I was in the shower at the time), thus rendering it useless as a car seat. We are keeping it as 'baby armchair' ...

MM just to say that although my due date is 25 November, according to my own dates it's 29 November. Then of course DD was 16 days late. So I can certainly see myself being here for the whole of that month. The last date I can give birth is 7 December (if nothing's happened by then it's ELCS for me). So you won't be completely alone!

Iheartpasties · 16/10/2012 12:58

Baby armchair!!!! yikes!!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/10/2012 13:09

At least we know that whatever happens our babies will ALL be here a good few weeks before.

My best friend is due on the 22nd dec...she's sooo going to have a Xmas baby!

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/10/2012 13:09

Good few weeks before Xmas that should say!!

Dixiebell · 16/10/2012 13:19

georgee, yes I did notice after I'd removed it that the polystyrene bit says 'do not remove' Hmm.

I am also due 27 Nov, and DS was a week late (and induced), so think I will be here a while too.

MissMummy1 · 16/10/2012 13:22

Oh phew, fc I won't be here alone then! I'm due 29th/30th November (depending on which page of my notes you look at) so could potentially go up to 14th December!! Shock

applepieinthesky · 16/10/2012 13:28

MM and DH I could have a December baby if I go two weeks overdue. Don't think I'll be graduating any time soon.

No news from gt? I bet she's busy cuddling her baby.

My second working day since finishing work and I'm bored already. I need to find something to do. Went to dentist this morning and had a filling, came back, had lunch followed by a nap and now don't know what to do with myself. Aaargh!

WaitingForMe · 16/10/2012 13:38

I've had my mum up for a long weekend which was lovely (I didn't disappear to have a baby) and she got a bit tearful as she left as it was the last time she'll see me pregnant Grin

I have simultaneously got my feet up and am getting the oven spotless. I've hired someone to do it for me. It feels so wrong to be lazing about the house while someone works though. I know I can't physically do it myself but I still feel rather guilty.

YellowWellies · 16/10/2012 13:46

Am loving your style waiting you should be eating cake and drinking tea whilst a skivvy scrubs though to maximise the opulence. Don't feel guilty - in a few weeks we'll all be cleaning up someone elses shit!!! Literally. Make the most of your time now is what everyone is telling me.

Balls as a baby name eh? Given our surname is Payne... am not sure that's a good idea Grin

Dixiebell · 16/10/2012 13:49

A whole Chicago Town pepperoni pizza to myself for lunch is preggo lady's prerogative, right?

MissMummy1 · 16/10/2012 13:50

A rummage in his garage has found half a tin of miniature heroes - my lazy day in front of the tv is complete! Grin

ShellyBobbs · 16/10/2012 13:51

We're going to need another thread soon Shock

rowingdowntheriver · 16/10/2012 14:40

Miniature heros missmummy? I so need some of them right now! I was just trying to figure out what I fancied eating and now they are the only things that will do.

shelly (at least I think it was you) I'm with you on the evacuation from both ends. Have been sick since last night and feel generally nauseous and unwell. Bump feels a little tight so I don't know if that is what is causing it or if it is something I ate yesterday? DH is in an exam today so couldn't stay off work to help with DS so my saintly father has come up to take him off my hands while I rest.

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/10/2012 15:47

I've been munching through dh's birthday tin of quality street- yum!

Booked my WC jab for tomorrow so couldn't have been sooner. Hope they don't do it in the same arm as the flu jab that I had on sat that would hurt!

MissMummy1 · 16/10/2012 16:06

Can't remember who started it last Tuesday, but it's buy one get one free at Dominoes tonight!! And I missed out last week due to having people round for a meal Sad. So ladies, convince me that I need to have pizza tonight instead of the planned fishcakes, and it's all for the good of junior.. Grin

YellowWellies · 16/10/2012 16:08

You need to ensure that junior is of sufficient weight that if he / she arrives early they will thrive. Grin

Also the international law that is - preggo lady wants preggo lady gets? Surely all men are taught this as small children?

rowingdowntheriver · 16/10/2012 16:16

Pizza tonight is a must. Think I'll be having the same. Managed to find some cake and choc hobnobs in the house for my lunch. Was nice but am slightly regretting it as has brought the nausea back. I wonder I'd it is like morning sickness where I can eat my way through it?

NervousAt20 · 16/10/2012 16:21

Had my consult appointment this morning an I'm having a section on Friday!!!!! Oh shit

Baby is still breech and doesn't have alot of fluid around her so they want me to have her early. Just had a steroid injection and have to have another one tomorrow and a fetal check up Thursday

Omg!!!
