I'm mostly gutted that the panda maternity hoodie I was coveting from New Look turned out to be the biggest pile of shite ever.

It appears on the picture to be a hoodie that will go past your bum. It does not. It is a short hoodie, thin and crappy, and the sleeves stop part way down your arms (that is the style it seems!). Now I'm 5ft 2, so I dread to think of anyone taller in it Shock

I've sent it back. But now I have no comfy hoodies for wearing post delivery. Was planning on living in the panda for a while!

Not that I am a hoodie girl usually, but for doing the school run, and in the house, I make the exception. I have a rather good pink hoodie, which arse covers and still fits me, but its grubby and old. I wanted a new one :(

YellowWellies · 09/10/2012 16:07

Wah tits that sounds like a bloody show no? Are you going to be next!!!!??

Am so envious - I want to meet the 'parasite' now, despite the fact that when I had my upset tum yesterday night I was having the weirdest and most overwhelming stomach contractions and realised that I might be shit at this natural labour malarky. I nearly called DH to help and I'm normally pretty hardcore.

Tiago · 09/10/2012 16:14

Go tits! Hopefully you will soon be meeting your LO.

Titsalinabumsquash · 09/10/2012 16:15

Well that's what I thought but at 35+3?!

No other signs, still wiggling around, still feel like my vagine may explode... Erm slight random bum explosion last night Blush but I blamed DP's "baking"

We shall see I guess. I'm eating this bloomin lasagne one way or another though, been craving it all day! Grin

Tiago · 09/10/2012 16:16

Hmmm. Maybe the LO will oblige and wait another week and a half. Just stay away from the raspberry leaf tea.

YellowWellies · 09/10/2012 16:18

Wooo I had a random bum explosion last night too Blush but reckon a bloody show would make DH faint if it turned up right now at 34+1. As soon as I get to 36 weeks I want one as from that point on I'd be allowed to have the baby up here.

Tits how are you feeling? Go for it lovely!!!!

horseylady · 09/10/2012 16:20

Wow tits?!!

I have been going more frequently but have put that down to no more iron!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 09/10/2012 16:24

I don't think I could handle anymore early arrivals, I feel like I've still got a lifetime to go as it is!

horseylady · 09/10/2012 16:29

Dh21 I know!!! I'm not due for another three weeks!!

Quite happy to let him grow a bit more

Titsalinabumsquash · 09/10/2012 16:30

I'm just continuing as normal at the moment and waiting for a midwife's advice whenever they call, DS2 was born at 36+5 I think (depends on who's dates we go by)

I'm sure it will amount to nothing though, was only a very tiny bit and BH are nothing more than usual today.

applepieinthesky · 09/10/2012 16:32

Same here DH. Everyone's having their babies early!

Just got a lovely unexpected present for the baby from a colleague. A cuddly toy, bandana bib and toy teething ring thingy. It's made me all emotional.

applepieinthesky · 09/10/2012 16:32

When are you due DH?

TheDetective · 09/10/2012 16:37

You never know Tits...! Advice will most likely be to observe loss for now, but wait til they ring back!

Bloody show is a good sign, but I've known them happen (even the bloody ones!) weeks before. I like a good bloody show in labour... :D

I'm contemplating buying one of those cushions to raise the height of the sofa for me to sit on. You know like old people have Grin. I am very uncomfortable, despite having hundreds of cushions and pillows and have tried them every which way. The sofa just seems too low, and I want my arse to be higher than my knees! Hmmmm.

Ps. currently on hold waiting for the on call supervisor of midwives. I've waited longer than 2 working days for a response to my email now, which I clarified its urgent nature. So I'm back to do some arse kicking in the right direction.

If I get nowhere with this, I'll be taking it to the local supervising board.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/10/2012 16:38

Ooooooooootits how exciting.

Veg casserole and roast chicken in the oven. Extreme amout of veg casserole to freeze for DS as he seems to love root veg and is not so keen on meat. Can't be arsed to chew it IMO.

How I would love a Dominos. In fact DH and DS are going to Northern On Sat for three sleeps so I might treat myself in secret! Smile

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/10/2012 16:39

*Northern Ireland not Northern On.

TheDetective · 09/10/2012 16:40

I love the secret takeaway idea Grin

I'm still hungry. Those chips did nothing to appease my hunger, and my stomach is making very angry noises. There is nothing else to eat in the house, and I am in my pj's. Feck.

TheDetective · 09/10/2012 16:41

The baby seems to be objecting to the hunger too...!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/10/2012 16:43

I just had a look at the Dominos website (haven't had one for years) what would you recommend? I am liking the look of the Vegi Mexicano.

Detective just do it.....phone now!Grin

applepieinthesky · 09/10/2012 16:46

The Vegi Mexicano is amazing Sophia. You won't be disappointed

YellowWellies · 09/10/2012 16:47

I always liked the Texas BBQ when I lived in a place with a Dominos - though also find that Dominos can really upset my tum... something to do with the oil they use. Oh and the chicken dipper thingies with BBQ sauce for me too please. Wah why am I getting excited about a takeaway where the nearest branch of which is 180 miles away in Inverness...

applepieinthesky · 09/10/2012 16:49

Got to get some garlic sauce with it as well sophia Yummy!

FatimaLovesBread · 09/10/2012 16:49

I'm not due for another 6 weeks!!
Hope everything's ok tits.

Detective - I not longer fit in any coats and jackets so I got a zip up hoodie from primarni which is nice and comfy

TheDetective · 09/10/2012 16:50

DP only finishes work at 7, I am never ever going to last!

I might resort to the McDonalds drive thru, since it is right by my house. And I can be a total scrubber and just put a coat over the pj's!

I don't really want one though... hmmmm. Maybe I should just get dressed. After all, Sainsburys is right next to McDonalds Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/10/2012 16:50

Am getting so excited about their break, I will have to feign tears at the airport and rush home to the phone!!

FatimaLovesBread · 09/10/2012 16:52

Ohh garlic pizza bread, chicken strippers and pepperoni passion with garlic and herb dip. Yummy yum yum
