Hi Carman - Hope your appt went well and so sorry to hear about your Dad, I lost my wonderful Dad in June this year too. It's bloody unfair isn't it. I was reduced to tears earlier after hearing Clive Dunn had died and the radio playing 'Grandad'.
WRT your water retention - dandelion leaf tea is very good, although I am not sure how soon in pregnancy you can drink it, some of these herbal teas are not recommended in early pregnancy so best do some research just in case.
Shockedminder the lightheadedness is awful isn't it? I've had a couple of bouts of labrinthitus in the past few years and it feels exactly like that - like the morning after without the fun of drinking the night before....but it lasts all day
I've just spent the last two days at my mums and had to hide the fact that I am feeling sick and I am sooooooooo tired. She's had me up in the loft sorting out stuff and we've been out for coffee with her friends this morning and then we went out for lunch - I then had to drive two hours home and have just collapsed on the sofa - it seems pretending you are fine for 48 hours makes you feel a lot worse when you let it out!
DH just fed DD and put her bed and has now gone out to get a kebab
I eat so healthily normally but I still cannot look a vegetable in the face and sometimes you just need brown food
Preggersbycheggers well done for the reminder about pelvic floor, for those of you who are on your first - do them every day, many many times!!!!
SunnyL I'm joining you on the insomnia wagon, it is just hideous isn't it. Towards the end of my first pregnancy I was awake at 4am every day so ended up making lots of cakes, my DH had sandwiches to take to work every day...and I made many many lists...I find doing stuff makes me feel better, laying in bed getting cross does nothing for me.
Now of course if I wake up in the middle of the night I MN
Oooo lovely - dinner has arrived!
