could have sworn i remember reading a post and thinking 'oh good babylily's isn't the only girl any more' can't find it by skimming down though, must be imagining things, great, thats all i need!

Evening everyone! I went for my scan today and all is fine - was told the baby was lying in a perfect position to see everything clearly, he was really good at explaining what was what (and didnt laugh at me when I asked if he was measuring the head when it was actually the abdomen! Blush). I am so relieved and he/she has been kicking away all day.Smile
we asked not to be told what it is although my curiosity nearly got the better of me!

Getting some great kicks now and can even see little feet starting to stick out Grin

Not great when it's right in the ribs though!

I am 21 weeks tomorrow and have my fetal anomoly scan. Have mixed feelings of excitement as we get to see baby again, but also anxious in case a problem is identifed.

How long do they take and what do they show you?

We wanted to find out the sex, phoned up the hospital to inquire( as you have to pay £50 for the pleasure!!!) and they told me you have to make a separate app...but they are fully booked until July!!! Hopefully we will get to find out when we go to have a 4d scan.

Is anyone else finding that pregnanct is going soo slowly? August seems so far away. Am not looking forward to looking huge with bump in middle of summer!

oh dear, baby just found my sore ribs...... was hoping he wouldn't take after his sister in that respect.

dd just came up to me on the couch and gave my bump a big hug and a kiss, so cute!

ronniemommy, ask the sonographer tomorrow anyway, some of them will tell you even if it's hospital policy not to, just pretend you didn't know what the policy was, it might be worth a try. good luck either way though, seeing the little skull looking out at you is what always gets me!

great news on scans
I can't believe some of you can hold off finding out about the sex, aren't you dying to know???!

lockets I know what you mean about pregnancy flying past. Only 4 months until my due date and I know it will fly. Saw a friend today with a newborn and a toddler and I was watching her at this birthday party trying to hold it together and I just thought 'yikes! help!'. The logistics are going to be challenging with 2 I bet.

The kicking has really started now hasn't it! I also saw my belly move the other day when he was thumping me and it looked as weird as it did last time round.
