Hello Grin

Nbg · 03/04/2006 20:22

Suppose so
Dh has to be up early tomorrow so may as well have an early night.
Get them dream vibes going Grin

It was only a small car too
How did we manage it?????

MO is so talented that he can even ahem rise to the challenge of a small car. Respect.

Nbg · 03/04/2006 20:29

Can't wait to see them next month.

If I wasn't married and pg I'd go and stand at the back of the stadium and try to see if he really could Grin

noodlekitkat · 03/04/2006 20:31

Shame..... Still you have your own private MO all to yourself in dream land.

Arabica · 03/04/2006 23:27

Am I the only one NOT having erotic dreams? Mine are all about leaving baby on the bus, forgetting to flush the toilet, all the money disappearing out of DH's bank account, or the bed collapsing!
My back is almost better now, thanks. I have had disc problems in the past but this was just a trapped nerve. I treat it by putting an ice pack on and moving around gently for 2-3 days until it gets better and I may have a chiropractor appt in the next couple of days too. But I will be back in the gym in the next few days for some gentle exercise.

Nbg · 04/04/2006 11:22

lol at your dreams Arabica Grin

Do you know what, I just thought to myself, only 4 months to go!!! Shock
It seems so near when I think of it like that.

Just a little question to ask. Obviosuly I'm not going to be able to get a new Midwife where we move to until I have registered with a new GP. I have found a surgery but do you think I could call them and register before we move just to assure myself I have a midwife or do you think that would be a Nono?
I have this awful feeling that I'm going to have real problems with my ante-natal care when we move.

purpleturtle · 04/04/2006 12:45

It would be worth ringing to find out, Nbg. You might need to have exchanged contracts or something first, though.

I've just been to the supermarket where I parked in a space, opened the car door up to the car I was parked next to, and decided I couldn't get out through that gap! LOL. Had to drive round to a space where I could park on the end and open my door as wide as it goes. Grin

MW came this morning. She will see if she can get me an emergency appt with the physio. Apparently even getting a cancellation appt takes two weeks. I am booked in for a lovely massage at the beginning of May, and one of the MW team is an aromatherapist, who will make me up a blend to help in the meantime. I could barely get out of bed this morning!

suenorth · 04/04/2006 13:27

Nbg: excuse me for crashing the thread, saw your comment about ante-natal care when moving. I had this problem a year or so ago and called the GP surgery near my new house. I couldn't actually register, but they gave me the number for the right midwife team so I could set things up in advance with them. That meant there was no 'gap' in care when I did move.

Might be harder to do if you're in a city - this was out in the country so only one surgery & midwife team to choose from!

Nbg · 04/04/2006 13:38

Ooooh thats great.
Thanks sn Smile

I'll give them a call then and see what they can do.
It's more of a small ruraly town we're going to and we only have the choice of 2 gp's so it could be a possibilty.

Thanks again.

Nbg · 04/04/2006 13:41

PT, If I'm not wrong your only a few miles south of me aren't you?

It seems bizarre that it's all under s.yorks but yet I can be given immeadiate appts and you have to wait.
I know it's different hospitals but still...

OP posts:
Nbg · 04/04/2006 14:42

I've called the docs and they said to wait until we have actually moved and as soon as I register to make an appt with the MW.

When's the next appt after 24 weeks then?
My 24 week appt is on the 27th but another 4 weeks after that and I reckon we'll be in the middle of moving.

BigHotMama · 04/04/2006 14:43

Afternoon ladies, hope your all well.

LMAO PurpleT as i did the same few weeks ago, I parked next to the trolley cabin thingy and couldnt get past, how Blush but Smile.

Wonder what it is that makes us all have these erotic dreams? Lol at Mark owen NBG in back of car! Mine mainly seem to be about orgy's with my best friends' and their dh's, like a big massive swingers party! or doing it in places like under the desk at work with ugly bloke in office!

My friend at work has just announced she is 8 weeks pg, she has polycystic ovaries and didnt think she'd get caught so soon! So you can imagine everyone in the office wil be sick of hearing us yatter on about our pg over the next few months!

I did 40 minutes of ironing last night and it absolutley shattered me out, felt dizzy and sick and tired? Seems like housework is the most tiring thing at the moment.

Cant get over how often I'm getting kicks now while sitting watching tv, I actually saw my belly move for first time! Always kicks loads when I'm eating! Sure its gonna be a chocaholic!

Good luck for your scan next week Noodle!

Am off to Torquay for weekend break on Thursday for my 30th birthday! Cant wait! Grin

Nbg · 04/04/2006 14:45

PMSL at swingers party Grin

My Dh thinks I've become a pervert when I told him! Shock

noodlekitkat · 04/04/2006 21:34

Girls I sense the tone is getting lower here..... Can anyone top orgies?

I believe I am having a gay child as I keep watching musicals and listening to Madonna? I shall start calling beanie Rock. Or Coco.

noodlekitkat · 04/04/2006 21:59

HAPPY 30TH BHM!!!! Have a great time!!!! Smile

SnowBoo · 05/04/2006 11:07

Have a good birthday BHM!

Had scan y'day. Alls well, no sign of diabetes, just a BIG baby. Great. So i had better get used to the idea of an epidural....Sad

Can't believe how big i look! I look down and think oh not too big, then catch sight of myself in mirror and think OMG!!!! Whos THAT????? Didn't help that Consultant said it's because i'm slightly heavier than i was with ds. Cheers Doc!

So whats the 24 week appt? I'm not due back til 28weeks for another baby growth scan. Whens my next set of bloods??

purpleturtle · 05/04/2006 11:38

I think bloods are at 28 weeks. I got a haemoglobin reading of over 13 for my first lot Shock. I can't think why. I usually hover around 9.5. Must have eaten spinach for tea the night before. lol

Shouldn't be on here - came to find party games ideas for dd's birthday party this afternoon. This time 5 years ago I was in labour.. Grin

BigHotMama · 05/04/2006 11:52

Hi girls, breaking up today am very excited! Bought 2 boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts for work and greddy guts ere has already eaten one and put a sly one in desk drawer for later! Totally scrumptious!
Lol Noodle at your gay names, dont forget 'butch' if its a girl?
Snowboo, I had a shock too other day, people say I'm really big but I dont feel like my belly is very big until I got glimpse in full length mirror and was standing next to my size 12 sister! Shock
Work have asked me to write them a letter informing them of my mat leave and intentions but I dont really feel I can decide before the bab is born? Are you allowed to change your mind if you have handed in something in writing regardless wether it is your intentions or not?

SnowBoo · 05/04/2006 13:56

Where on earth do you get these doughnuts?? Been told the only place is Harrods????! Would love to just have a nibble.

BigHotMama · 05/04/2006 15:44

Snowboo, Selfridges in Bullring, Birmingham have a Krispy Kreme store and they taste amazing and so fresh! £14.00 for 24, they were gone within 1 minute..the plain icing ring ones are my fave Grin

Hi everyone. My back is all better but today I have hayfever! It's a lovely sunny day in London and I have been sneezing all afternoon. This happened with my pregnancy with DS too--did lots of sneezing, although, fingers crossed, my asthma didn't seem affected.
I don't like doughnuts, so should anyone offer me a KrispyKreme, I'll know where to send it! I do like chocolate M&Ms though--just had a little packet.

SnowBoo · 05/04/2006 16:41

Must go to Tesco. Think Birmingham is a bit too far... Dh will KNOW i've lost it then!

SnowBoo · 05/04/2006 16:46

Is it bad of me to have one teeny weeny glass of Pimms? Watered right down. Not for now but in the hot summer.... Just sitting here thinking about it!
