Hello Grin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 19:47

Let me see. Back? Head? Ermmmm i'm sure something is ok....
Got it! My HAIR doesn't hurt......Grin ouch, now my cheeks hurt from grinning....

SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 19:48

Trust me, what he has can't be classed as 'wind'. More like Nuclear Warfare....

noodlekitkat · 29/03/2006 19:48

I am imagining you now with a fabulous Audrey Hepburn-style coiffure!

Go you!

noodlekitkat · 29/03/2006 19:49

Ok - Audrey Hepburn with a gas mask!!!

SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 19:51

PMSL! Oh if you only knew....

noodlekitkat · 29/03/2006 19:55

What does he eat? Bean and Bitter Vindaloo?

SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 20:10

Beer and Madras. And Tabasco in EVERYthing. Even a nice normal casserole gets swamped with it. Can't stand it myself....

PinkTulips · 29/03/2006 20:23

Eve here, finally got around to changing my username, only took me 3 months! can never think of anything good when i go to do it, only picked this coz i bought myself some for mothers day and they're sitting in front of me Blush

lol at audrey hepburn in the gasmask image, can't get it out of my head now!

noodlekitkat · 29/03/2006 20:31

Cute name! You may have to get yourself a pink trench coat like the other girls now.

Well I'm off to have dinner... Have a good night girls! xxn

SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 20:34

TTFN Noodle!

Must get a pink coat....

Liking the name Pinktulip!

PinkTulips · 29/03/2006 20:40

speaking of clothes, does anyone have any suggestions for cheap maternity clothes that don't involve e-bay? (no credit card)

desperate for some summer tops as i was strolling around town today in just a sleeveless top as i was so warm already, only have 2 tops that'll fit at the end of preg as last time it was the middle of winter and i wore big baggy jumpers, not a good idea for summer!

SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 20:44

Try H&M. They have some nice tops and cheap too.
Also from next month New Look are introducing their own affordable maternity range, Bloom. As are Mars & Spencer.

PinkTulips · 29/03/2006 21:11

thanks, might try M&S, theres a new one near us.

still feeling fragile after poking and prodding i got in hospital so i'm for an early night, in the mood to cuddle up with my teddy and my cat Wink

SnowBoo · 29/03/2006 21:19

Have a good sleep.

I'm turning in for snuggles now. Dh at pub so more room for me in the bed!!!

Night night all x

MummyToToby · 29/03/2006 22:02

sorry an invader from due in july here, but i want to ask BHM something as i notice she is from tipton and was wondering if she is going to have her baby at russells hall?

olivo · 30/03/2006 08:15

Are you mocking our pink coats Grin?!

BigHotMama · 30/03/2006 09:52

Morning Ladies, Hope your all well.

MummytoToby yes I am going to Russells Hall, what a small world! Are you there too? Where do you live? When's your EDD? I had the choice of either Sandwell or Russell's Hall, didnt have to think much about that one lol. It looks great, your own room with en-suite cant be bad!

Well I look about 28-30 weeks on the swedish woman link. My mom said I look 7 months, then my sister said I've put weight on my arse so it must be a girl lol. Does anybody else find that people are either staring at your belly or your boobs? I feel like I'm on constant display everywhere I go, (dont mind though Grin)

Did the boy/girl test and says 57% girl and 43% boy so am still bit clueless!

Any more scan news yet?

Nbg · 30/03/2006 10:09

Hi everyone!

Eve, what a nightmare your hospital are being! I think you need to have words. I thought the whole maternity care thing involved lots of reassurance?!!! Glad the bleeding stopped anyway and I hope your placenta budges in time.

I think that link's a bit daft really (the pg lady one). Like the rest of you, I'm huge compared to the pictures and the boy/girl test says I'm 57% of a girl and 43% for a boy, lol!

PinkTulips (aprilgirl, yes?) Try searching through the voucher code sites like HotUK Deals for some money off codes. La Redoute are normally a good one for codes.

Well we've deffo sold our house and bought the cottage, solicitors are geting on with their bit and all parties involved want a speedy sale so it looks like we'll be moving from the middle of May Shock!!!
Have to go through the nightmare of getting a new midwife and getting booked in at the hospital again.
The down side is that dh is very reluctant to get internet connection when we go so I may be leaving you all Sad
Of course I will nag the arse of him though Grin

Baby is moving loads now, plenty of stomach rippling and some really good kicks which is lovely.

PinkTulips · 30/03/2006 10:48

nbg, tell him you need the internet otherwise you'd feel very isolated and that you don't think that would be a good state of mind to be in with a new baby Wink love guilt tripping my dp, works every time (poor man!)

it's eve btw, got annoyed with the 2005 bit i had to add on so finally changed it.

Arabica · 30/03/2006 13:52

PinkTulips, I hadn't seen your post about the bleeding when I posted mine about backache--so glad you're OK.
Luckily my back isn't too bad, paracetomol taken a bit of the edge off and have managed to potter about, luckily DS is being collected from school by someone else today.
My baby absolutely refuses to move whenever DH puts his hand on my tummy, so I don't think he really believes I can feel anything moving!

PinkTulips · 30/03/2006 14:21

thanks arabica, feeling tonnes better today, although still annoyed at the hospitals general attitude.

lol at baby not moving for dh, mines the same backflipping away til dp comes over, then nothing. dd was exactly the same so i try and placate him by saying he has a 'calming influence' on them!

babylily · 30/03/2006 15:54

Very quick message before I'm off for a few weeks...
Found out at scan this morning that all is very well with baby-babylily and that we'd better look out all the PINK clothes that were DD1's!
DH is very pleased but a bit intimidated by the idea of a house full of girls!!!

Take care everyone and catch up after easter
xx

Arabica · 30/03/2006 16:04
