Eve2005 · 27/03/2006 20:07

excellant news nbg, you must be over the moon!

am i the only one keeping the sex a surprise? going to be so annoyed if i'm the only one who doesn't know before aug! Wink

congrats to you too pucca, do you get offered the blood tests automatically over there? even with a family history all they do here is scan.

sarahlou1uk · 27/03/2006 20:22

Olivo:-
I am also due in August and currently taking Sanatogen Natal and Mumomega supplements as I don't like fish. This is my second pregnancy and find that I have a lot more energy. If I miss a day, I don't feel as good so I think they are working!!!

jayjaybaby · 27/03/2006 20:32

Hi all,
Just popping in to say a proper goodbye...

Some days have been so bad but today has been my first 'good' day (I know its all relative). The funeral is booked for 7th April and we are going away for a break sometime after that. I've realised that keep reading your thread is probably not good for me although I like to see how you are all doing. Its good to hear your scans are going well - well done to those of you with a bit of patience Wink . it was lovely when you said 'hi' but as your excitement increases it'll inevitably be harder for me so I'll wish you all well and remove the 'watch this thread' over the next day or two (would do it instantly but never was good at saying goodbye! Anyway please say 'hi' if we meet on another thread. And if I'm lucky enough to get a BFP before Aug I'll let you know.
Take care
love and hugs Ruth

Eve2005 · 27/03/2006 21:11

bye ruth, and good luck with ttc. (i would say good luck with the funeral but i don't think thats the right wording and i don't know what is)

big hugs for you, mark and lydia {{{{{hug}}}}}

noodlekitkat · 27/03/2006 21:50

Bye Ruth,

I hope to see you on other threads.

Take care,
Nina

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 27/03/2006 21:53

Bye Ruth and all the very best of luck in the future! Hopefully we will hear from you in the next few months. xxxx

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 27/03/2006 21:56

Nbg, congrats! And as for buying pink, mine is definately a boy but i just LOVE pink. Maybe he'll be gay...Grin But have a few blue boy things organised....

Hope everyone else is doing well, got to go to bed as busy day tomorrow. Got dh's nans funeral which is going to be testing for us, his uncle has been stirring things up telling his mum maybe the body isn't in the coffin etc etc! So if he doesn't watch it he'll be joining her....

Will let you all know how it goes....

Eve2005 · 27/03/2006 22:05

lol snowdrops, sounds like an entertaining family! Wink

noodlekitkat · 27/03/2006 22:07

Good luck with the funeral SnowdropsInTheSpring Shock

I am loving that raspberry trench coat also - wish I hadn't recently bought a duller and pricier one at Gap Envy

I am not going to ask the sex of my baby. I have this corny, overly romanticised image of the "It's a boy/girl!" moment when the baby comes out.

I've seen too many films! I'm so sad.... Blush

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 27/03/2006 22:15

Hahaha trust me it is!!!! They are a bit eccentric to say the least.... ANd his cousin is a mad Dutch Lady, love her to bits JUST NOT IN MY HOUSE!!!Grin

noodlekitkat · 27/03/2006 22:20

Ha! Well at least it will be over with soon. Good luck, I am off to eat a pizza....

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 27/03/2006 22:21

Yum! Enjoy...

pucca · 27/03/2006 23:09

NBG...No way! a little boy, how sweet for you Smile

Have you felt different this pregnancy compared to when you had your dd? I can't wait to find out on friday!!

It is a routine thing the blood test, good to have as it puts your mind at ease. Smile

kitegirl · 28/03/2006 07:59

Nbg! A BOY!! I can't believe you were right! So pleased for you. Pleased to hear he is well. Little boys are lovely! just watch out for the pee - the way they can aim on the changing table is quite spectacular. I've had it go in my eye, up the wall...

I had a scan on Thursday and the boy is fine, we saw his dangly bits right in the middle of the screen so no doubt about his sex.

Hope you are all well
x

Arabica · 28/03/2006 10:39

Ruthlouise, I hope to stay in touch with you via other threads; I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that you will always be one of us August girls, even if you aren't posting on here any more.
Wishing you all the best for the future and sending you big hugs for the funeral.

Arabica · 28/03/2006 10:45

NBG, it's a boy! I'm so pleased for you. DS is a total joy, and never weed on me--but he did wee on our GP when he went for his 6 week check!!! I can't stand pastel colours so tended to avoid pale blue and pale pink in favour of the brightest shades I could find!
Eve2005, we aren't finding out our baby's sex either--that'll be DH's job at the birth, to stop him from swooning like a Victorian laydee. Smile

jayjaybaby · 28/03/2006 11:10

hi ya so how many boys and how many girls so far
i cant work it out
hi to ruth sending my love to you all

BigHotMama · 28/03/2006 11:27

Morning all, hope your all ok.

NBG thats fab news, how did you know you were having a boy then? I aint got a clue yet? Most think its a boy though but I'm gonna keep everyone guessing till the day! My sister told me she'd love a niece or a gay nephew so she could do her beauty treatments on them when older lol. DH's face was a picture!
We may need to alter the statistics to show who's having what? I think its all boys so far aint it? I get so confused with remembering all the info!
Congrats on your scan too Kitegirl..anymore scans this week out there??

Ruthlouise & Mark, thinking of you at this sad time x x x

Arabica · 28/03/2006 12:23

I won't be adding baby's sex to the thread but will be able to say when it'll be born (delays on the day permitting). I can't remember if I told you, but the same day I had my scary 20-wk scan, (when they first found the cysts), I also saw the consultant. She said as DS was a normal size and still got stuck, chances were it might happen again--so if I wanted an elective C-section she would support it.

purpleturtle · 28/03/2006 12:32

I'm another who won't be finding out what I'm having till he or she arrives.

I had a friend on the June 05 thread where somebody clever managed to put what looked like a word document online somewhere with the stats on, and then it was linked to from the thread. I think it meant that the same person had to update it, but I've not got a clue how to do it. Just a thought, as it saved having to copy and paste the whole time!
