Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
xmasevebundle · 08/08/2012 20:17

They will make me re-apply and its simple mistake.

I owe my parents rent and its putting loads of stress on me!

My son must think im sort of mad women!! I shouldnt be like this, i might go on the sick.

I have money but not alot i have 200 pound left, i no you get a 500 pound grant on income support but as the dad is just a 'sperm doner' and dont wany anything do with it.

Im left to struggle, im at my ends.

God forgive me for this if i get any more stressed ill walk down the shop and get a packet of 20!!!!!!

CODwidow · 08/08/2012 20:27

I'm getting dh to call his HR department tomorrow to check all this paternity stuff as he was told today that he'll only get £120 a week! But I have my next appt at 25weeks so if need be I can pick up the form then.

I braved the scales today and I've only put on 3 lbs so a little relieved by that but there's plenty of time Smile I usually put on lots during my pregnancies Blush

22 weeks today and lots of movements but also still getting really dizzy when I stand up not sure if it's my blood pressure??

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2012 20:29

COD sounds like low blood pressure I wouldn't worry though just stand slower! Also £120 a week is what statutory is, makes you understand why so many men don't bother and just use AL instead.

ellliebelle · 08/08/2012 20:47

bubless congratulations on team pink :) spotty i love felix but dh doesnt :( toby is top of our list for a boy at the moment and amber for a girl i was thinking earlier that potentially dh already knows the name of our dc3 since he knows the sex :)

xmaseve all sounds very stressful :(

emilyeggs · 08/08/2012 20:54

Congrats on all the good scan news x

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2012 20:54

Oh I love Toby! Not an option for us as we know one close to us but it's a lovely name Smile

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/08/2012 20:58

Aw felix and Toby are both lovely :)

We have Bree for a girl and Cohan for a boy slightly more unusual than some but we like them :)

Cod that sounds like your low bp try standing slowly (no jumping up and running after those boys of yours!)

Cookiesandcream06 · 08/08/2012 21:27

Congratulations on your girlie bubbless and don't worry, my DD always measured big at the stomach and short legs and she's a very healthy 3 year old! My measurements don't match up this time either.
spotty I bought a nice blanket from John Lewis the other day too- £15 and I LOVE it.
Love Bree stacey and Toby whoever suggested
Oh xmas that sounds very stressful I really hope things calm down for you soon.

COD how have you managed this?! I weighed myself this morning and i've put on 4lbs in a week?! So much for not gaining weight in ages. Fatty fatty fatty over here.

Walked SiLs dog on the New Forest earlier with DD and MiL sciatica killed me and now I feel like an aching 90 year old although the air and exercise felt really good.

ISpyJumpHigh · 08/08/2012 21:33

Wow, so much great scan news over the last couple of days - congrats everyone.

Bubbles - my lo had seemed to have a large abdomen at 19 weeks (measurment was at the top of the chart whereas all the other measurements were in the middle). On Monday (22+6), they were all nearer the middle. I mentioned it to the sonographer, and she said that sometimes babies have funny growth spurts and one part seems to be further ahead for a bit then everything else catches up which is what seems to have happened with me. She also said if the measurements are anywhere on the chart they don't worry, so if it hasn't been flagged up as a problem then it's more than likely fine.

We've been discussing names tonight too and we're really struggling for a boy. Funnily enough, Toby was one we seemed to agree on a few weeks ago but now DH is worried it doesn't work with our surname. Nothing else either of has suggested really stands out. Got a feeling it'll end up being a compromise that we can both live with. Obv would never go with a name one of us hates, but it just seems such a shame we can't find something we both really love again.

CODwidow · 08/08/2012 21:45

cookies I have no idea! I'm eating normally and yet don't seem to be putting any on. I've done this 4 times before and every time piled it on so this is odd! I'm sure it'll catch up with me in the last month.

CODwidow · 08/08/2012 21:46

Ooo Bree is nice, we're thinking Keira at the mo as its the only one we can agree on.

HoneyMum21 · 08/08/2012 22:28

ugggh, my nipples appear to have got the memo about going mental... And i'm feeling HUGE now too - the nurse i saw today reckons it''s all bump, not fat, as i was quite slim before and apparently still look sllim apart from massive bump, but i can't see it. I just feel huge. Hmmmmpppphh. Moan over.

DH spent half an hour last night watching bump kick my stomach :)

cherrypiew3 · 08/08/2012 23:14

Congratulations on the scan news Spotty,Knotty and Bubbless.

We are also struggling to find a name the only one we really like is Kimberley but we don't like Kim which we know it will be shortened to no matter how much we ask people not to.

Little bit worried now that I have seen all your lists so far we have

Pram
Car seat
Moses basket
Some little dresses

I totally forgot about all the stuff I need to put in the hospital bag.

pmgkt · 09/08/2012 03:54

As you can tell by the time I'm posting I can't sleep. Why not, I have the whole bed to myself, I'm tired, and its cosy here but I'm wide awake after 3 hours sleep.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/08/2012 06:47

Sorry you had a bad night pgmt

I hope you don't think I'm being insensitive but I had the best nights sleep for months good job as have to work today. Also thinking about stopping dd's naps, I selfishly want to keep them but bedtimes a nightmare at the moment.

Argh I'm having a boy!! Do excited!!

pmgkt · 09/08/2012 07:32

I'm working today too, my only 1 day all week. Nevermind.

Boys are great, I'm glad you are excited so many people seen to think you wouldn't be happy.

gilsbubbles · 09/08/2012 07:37

Felt inspired to write a shopping list yesterday after seeing all the studs tove all been buying. We've bought absolutely nothing so far and seeing it all written down gave me a wee scare. it's not just the buying, which I'll need to start soon, but where to keep it all. We moved into this house about a month ago and haven't totally unpacked. Still lots of boxes bowen here and in the attic that I've still to find homes for.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/08/2012 07:42

pmgkt I'm sorry I got your name so wrong Blush I'm on my phone and have forgotten by the time it comes to typing it! Hope your day at work isn't too strenuous I've been here half an hour and done nothing apart from bid for stuff on eBay Grin

kate2boysandabump · 09/08/2012 07:48

Sorry you're having a bed night pmgt

I like all the names people have chosen. We've chosen Noah and had done before conception!

Xmas I don't really understand but it sounds stressful.

COD my dh would only get £120 per week, which we can't afford, so is taking 2 weeks holiday.

Equimum · 09/08/2012 07:49

Congratulations on all the good scan news. We went yesterday and everything was okay, but bubbless our sonographer actually gasped and said, 'my, what a big fat tummy little one has!' it's right at the top of the scale, but just over the 50 percentile line for femur length! Mind you, that probably describes DH quite well too! Hehehe (he did actually say that at the time!).

Went out and bought first baby purchase afterwards - a little hat and mitten set, not that we'll probably ever use the mittens! I missed the discussion on lists, but it's absolutely terrifying! We have a spreadsheet worked out, but have been reluctant to start shopping until now. Have quite a bit of making up to do, me thinks!

CODwidow · 09/08/2012 07:56

He's going to ring them today as a memo sent out has stated he'll recieve 90% of earnings for the two weeks so a little confused. If not then annual leave it is. I'm just pleased that his call out rota has changed because up until yesterday he was on call all Xmas and new year which in all honesty was worrying me slighty.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 09/08/2012 08:54

Cod Keira is lovely, I have a keiran laying next to me playing mario kart Grin

Sorry to hear about your bad night pmgkt

I slept quite well and we have been invited on a picnic with friends today so I'm sacking off work and doing that instead (I do live setting my own hours)

2blessed · 09/08/2012 09:34

Gorgeous day today ladies, hope you'll all be out to enjoy it while it lasts
pmgkt I didn't have the greatest nights sleep either but did mean that I was in work early so I can leave nice and early - yay!

elliebelle My DP used charm to get the sonographer to reveal the flavour even after she had said its hospital policy not to say if the mother doesn't want to know. He left the room saying "I wish she hadn't told me". Now he could be winding me up but, it either means its got a boy and he wishes he could shout it from the rooftops (he really wants a boy as he already has two girls) or its a girl and he wishes he hadn't told her because his surrounding of females in his life (he has sisters no brothers adn one son) is about to increase... Grin

FriendofDorothy · 09/08/2012 09:42

I wish I was out and about but sadly I am working!

HoneyMum21 · 09/08/2012 09:53

Sorry about people's rubbish nights sleep. :(
No enjoying the sun here as hard at work (she says while in MN)

Quick question- my maternity exemption certificate for prescriptions is still in my maiden name and up till now no one has been bothered but the snooty pharmacist this morning (who was being difficult as I'd had the audacity to come into boots while she was sat down behind the counter drinking her coffee) was really arsey and said she couldn't accept it. How do I change my name on it?

Thanks
