just catching up before getting back to steelwork layouts (whoop) - congratulations on everyone's scans!! Sounds like a few pinks in there with our deluge of team blues..
All this willy talk Blush has made me wonder about ours; the sonographer pointed at something neither DH or I could distinguish from anyone else, and said it was a boy and that they're right 9 times out of 10, but we both decided afterwards we had no idea what she waspointing at!!

he (?) was front on to us rather than in profile, so maybe that's why? I would really really like a boy, so just hope she's right!

ellliebelle · 08/08/2012 15:07

2blessed was the sonographer happy to tell your dp and not you? Ours took a lot of persuading

Cookiesandcream06 · 08/08/2012 15:28

Congratulations spotty Grin

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/08/2012 15:34

Right I have no more appointments until 28 weeks with the midwife, how do I get the matb1 for DH to give to work for paternity leave?

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2012 15:36

Congrats knotty! We have a name we love but I'm worried what others might think. We like Felix.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/08/2012 15:59

Hello All,

Congrats knotty and Spotty, glad it was good news all round.

Thanks Kate I feel vindicated, if I could be arsed I'd ring the receptionist and tell her Grin

Stacey doesn't only your employer need the Mat1B? I thought the men just filled in this form? I could be wrong, I was the one asking about MAT1B's the other day.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/08/2012 16:12

Thanks willyou DH reckons he needs a matb1 (I don't have an employer as such, long story) but I've sent him the link and will see what he says!

utopian99 · 08/08/2012 16:17

hi stacey, I had this issue - I phoned the midwife after my scan and asked her to fill it in and leave it with the doctor's surgery reception to pick up..

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/08/2012 16:18

And if you do need a MAT1B Stacey you can ring your midwife/GP at 21 weeks and request one be left at reception for you and be told off by the receptionist and fed a load of rubbish about waiting til after 25 weeks

kate2boysandabump · 08/08/2012 16:26

The midwife said dh would need it for paternity leave. Don't know how it works if you both need it though.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/08/2012 16:45

Its all so confusing Confused we would both need one then if that's the case. What a PITA

Bubbless · 08/08/2012 16:45

had our scan today, were team PINK! yay! we saw a very definate 3 lines so hoping that its fo'so'! aha
congrats to everyone elses scans etc, will catch up later!!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2012 16:52

MyDaydream · 08/08/2012 17:52

bubbless congrats on your girl.

HoneyMum21 · 08/08/2012 18:45

Congrats bubbles

spotty - I love Felix :)

knottyhair · 08/08/2012 18:58

Lovely news Bubbless! Spotty, another "like" for Felix here as well Smile.

Bubbless · 08/08/2012 19:40

ohh felix is nice!

i think my sonographer fucked up my notes, she asked my EDD when i went in, i told her- my actual EDD puts me at 19+6 today.. however on my notes it says in due in january and 19 weeks today... is this a problem?!

also, my (obvs my girls!) head is measuring fine, as are limbs etc, but belly is measuring at 21+5.... anything i can do about this / anyone else in the same boat!?

xmasevebundle · 08/08/2012 19:41

Ive got to rant becuase i am going to explode.

I am job seekers(my stomach muscles parted and in lots of pain i gave up my hairdressing job).

I went on sick from 26 until last thursday i was due to get paid this tuesday.

I rung them up and got some stuck up bitch saying i shouldnt have morning sickness.

I rung up on the 26th saying i couldnt come in had morning sickness she then said oh we didnt even have you in

The sailing is on where i live and was told NO-ONE was allowed to sign on until i finished so either way 3 weeks without money.

Im due to go in tomorrow at 9.20 and so angry at them. Ive got no food niether money.

I told the lady this she didnt seem to care (most of them dont).

I want to go on income support but i cant until im 29w.

I was told my claim has been shut down and that i had to re-apply.

I am so angry right now.

Congrats on everyones scan today to hope all went well and few more pinks today [grins]

StateofConfusion · 08/08/2012 19:52

xmaseve i feel your pain, there is a huge shake up going on atm, and my dp is being penilised too, he recently had surgery and his Dr has signed him off until december, and he was on ESA. He had to have a private medical where they didnt even touch him just ask very odd questions and now theyve decided he cant have esa, so he applies for jsa as he had no choice but to leave his job (builder) but he isnt fit for work so they cant process jsa, he has to appeal its all a fecking nightmare where they get to withold money and be snooty.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/08/2012 19:57

Xmas eve bundle although I can't quite make sense of your post as my pregnancy brain is addled! It sounds like a lot of stress for you right now :( I hope they sort it for you!

Well Zumba seemed to help, although DH is trying to blame me because he had 2 sets of keys but the other 1 is missing, so obv I ( the one who hasn't lost a set of keys since I was a teenager, he who loses them all the time) am the one who's lost them Hmm so I had a little pop and he tried to have a pop back so I walked away before I ripped his head off got angry!

I am being beaten up from the inside, getting kicks slightly higher up these days but I'm pretty sure baby is still breach.

Stacks · 08/08/2012 19:58

Checking in after lurking for days. Been busy in work but trying to keep up with reading. Waves to all.

Bubbless · 08/08/2012 20:02

xmas sounds horrible, keep pushing and they will have to sort you out eventually!

stacey my retort would have been why does 1 man need 2 sets of keys?!
im still not feeling movement :'(

waves at stacks - hope everythings okay!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2012 20:02

xmaseve sorry to hear that, hope it gets sorted soon.

Bubbless mine has a fat tummy and short legs haha! Don't worry about the measurements they are not entirely accurate.

My Uterine Artery seems to be larger than average and they have highlighted this in the print off but I have no idea what it means?!

I bought the most gorgeous blanket from John Lewis today, it was £15 but totally worth it. Most clothes will be from eBay though so I wanted one nice, new thing!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 08/08/2012 20:08

Aw bubbless you'll get movement soon, everyone's different, I've felt all mine really early but they've all been blooming fidget arses! Dd used to HAVE to be swaddled before she could sleep because otherwise she would whack herself in the face with her hands Hmm and wake herself up when she was little! Grin maybe you will have a more relaxed baby than I have lol

SpottyTeacakes · 08/08/2012 20:10

Where's your placenta Bubbless? It should say on your print out. Mine is still anterior but high, only felt proper kicks as of yesterday ish but this is dc2 too...
