Thought I'd get the ball rolling as I know there have been some BFPs in the last few days on here.....

Just got a confirmatory BFP on a clear blue. This will be DC2, DC1 will be two in two weeks!

So grab a seat, buckle up and enjoy the vino soft drinks on offer.

Ps is it really bad that I am craving a jug of Pimm's?!

Haywire · 19/06/2012 13:12

That was confusing Boola Confused! i'm not feeling very sick just queasy but seem to remember it got a lot better at 12 weeks last time (little comfort right now I know)

Haywire · 19/06/2012 13:14

right now my symptoms are bone crushing tiredness and freezing cold all the time also very strange dreams! last time and when I had my MC I have had the overwhelming sense of smell thing. seems every pregnancy is slightly different. how are you feeling apart from sick?

LoisLame · 19/06/2012 13:15

Hi Everyone! I've been on the Due in Feb... thread but will come and join this one. Just marking my place so I can come back and add my details properly when I'm on the computer :)

HulaBoola · 19/06/2012 13:24

Ooh, I have the smell thing too. It's SO strong. I'm not cold but am sick, tired, dry mouthed and windy!

How many weeks was your MC? Have fingers and toes crossed for you Haywire.

Welcome Lois Lame!

Not had any sickly feelings yet (fingers crossed) but boobs are sore and belly is bloated. Also I am hungry ALL THE TIME! Trying to eat healthy snacks but nothing seems to fill me up

Docs appt tomorrow - excited SmileSmileSmile

Splinters · 19/06/2012 13:43

Hmm, got up from my desk just before lunch and felt a rather uncomfortable stabbing pain. Then I thought, stabbing pain? NOOOOOO! Doctor is fitting me in between other patients late afternoon -- really hoping he'll tell me I'm a timewaster with trapped wind!

Haywire · 19/06/2012 13:45

Something - I am hungrier this time too isn't it interesting how different it can feel

Boola when I had the smell thing I could not open the fridge without heaving had to get DH to make me food; this time am okay so far. Thanks goodness as I run a cafe!!!! My MC was about 8 weeks happened in March, thanks for the good wishes. I am feeling nervous but trying to keep positive and what will be will be I guess.

BeanDunne · 19/06/2012 14:01

Zany the wedding is in 6 weeks :S

BeanDunne · 19/06/2012 14:05

Fingers crossed you do a giant fart and there is no more stabbing pain Splinter

DinkyPenguin · 19/06/2012 14:10

Sending lots of positive thoughts your way splinters.

I'm not feeling sick or nauseous but I am freezing, mega thirsty, tired, with a heightened sense of smell and manky taste in my mouth. Oh and can't stop eating too. Not sure whether my larger stomach is down to baby (don't feel bloated though) or the fact I've been eating for England without exercising as much as I'm used too!

LittleMissSnowShine · 19/06/2012 14:29

Hello all! Managed to get slightly better zzz last night tho was still up with DS about half 3, slept with him in tiny toddler bed for about an hour til I woke up with pins and needles in my arm which was wedged under him and then managed to retreat back to our room without waking him and he stayed down til 7. Not enjoying this 4 day sleep protest!! Sat and read all about potty training today, think I'm going to start him just getting used to sitting on loo and buy him training nappies next month (he's 2 in Aug) - really determined to have him trained by the time new baby comes!

Adding to list (is there a more condensed way we can format this btw?? Takes forever to scroll thru on the phone hee!) Also sticking you in there sonics

splinters hope all is ok, I had stabby pains last week but not too bad this week. Let us know what doctor says.

So soon to wedding bean how sweet that there'll be 3 of you at the alter Grin

Welcome lois Smile

perfectshadeofgrey · 19/06/2012 14:51

boola my dd was 2 weeks late so my due date is more like the 15th :o

Pinkie29 · 19/06/2012 14:53

Fx Splinters am sure it's nothing to worry about and your not wasting their time that's what they're there for Smile

I've had all manner of tweaks twinges and stabs the last few weeks! Phoned on a few times but they've said only to worry if it's prolonged/unbearable or accompanied by spotting/bleeding and even then some bleeding is normal they said

BeanDunne · 19/06/2012 14:57

lets just hope i dont puke or fart or pass out at the alter...and hope my dress fits. i probably say that every day...

LittleMissSnowShine · 19/06/2012 15:19

Yes let us know how u get on at drs splinters, i've been getting twinges and sometimes they're a bit stabby, usually when I wake up during the night I notice they're slightly worse and between those and the weird dreams I tend to have a wee 30 second panic until all calms down again. But cramps without bleeding are usually ok, so fx for you xx

somethingwittynot · 19/06/2012 15:48

so have just been to the doctors and she was lovely. has sent of my refferal for an early pregnancy scan and ill get the appt through the post Grin

QueenOfTheDrama · 19/06/2012 15:55

Great news that you're getting an early scan something! Did the doctor give you any indication of how long you're likely to be waiting?

somethingwittynot · 19/06/2012 16:05

nope she just said it will come through the post! i hope its soon! Grin

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 19/06/2012 16:15

Loads of new people! Hi everyone. Just come back from weekend away pretending to drink. Was easy actually, much easier than I thought!

Went to drs today. I have to call and book my own scan as they don't do midwife booking here any more, and fill in all the forms myself before I go!!

Never mind.

BeanDunne · 19/06/2012 16:18

So i was weeding the garden and now i feel like im going to get sick... this is the sickest iv felt so far. bean doesn't like to garden then...
