Still getting contractions but no closer than every 8-9 mins Gonna go to bed soon. Having visions of not being able to sleep but not being ready for hosp either. Hope I can either sleep or things ramp up a bit, I'm so tired...

Hope you get some sleep dairy, and that labour speeds up without waking you so you are nice and rested for the morning
surf ha ha! Exactly how I feel, not linking cervix softening to an actual baby coming out.....my head can't cope with that !
DP has just been called out (he works for emergency services) because of all the called they're getting for flooding hope he's back safely soon. Also hope no one gets hurt on the floods, it's so sad watching it on the news.

Calls not called! Need sleep

The not being able to sleep has returned.

Oh no McKayz Hope you manage to drop off again.

I slept but was woken by a contraction around 3.. Then had the squits, lovely. Just had another contraction. Really thirsty now but can't be arsed to go downstairs for a drink!

No sleep here, and not even a fricking contraction to blame. 3hrs until I can call hospital to book induction. Frustrated.does not even come CLOSE to describing my current frame of mind!!

aww kveta what a pain... fingers crossed when you book it sods law kicks in and all starts happening. good luck today rhi nothing for me today please oh off to london town.

DP still not home still out sorting flooding in West Sussex. Just spoken to him, he sounds shattered. Hope he can get home later as he's been out all night with no sleep. So no baby for me today please!

Well, contractions were every 8-10 mins between 3 and 5.50 but then I haven't had another yet and I fell back asleep. I'm getting pissed off now as dh has to go to work as I'm not regular enough to go to hosp. Now I'll have to watch the boys whilst having contractions.

Oh dairy how frustrating especially now you've got to cope with them and look after your LOs too. Why do our bodies do this to us?!

I feel asleep at 5 and got woken up at 6.

DS2 is back at play school today so the walk to school resumes. I'm not actually sure I will make it as my hips are killing me just sat down. But never mind.

Hope you're all ok and there are some babies today!!!

Amethyst why indeed! Hardly having any at the moment which is good cause I have the boys but really annoying after a whole day of them already!

No more contractions here but just had quite a bit of a show..

I'm just popping in to give a huge hug to the overdue ladies as I can only begin to imagine how they are feeling right now [hug] and lots of to the new mums

Breast feeding was good in hospital but struggling with latch yesterday/today. Midwife over shortly so will hopefully be reminded again of what needs to be done. He's just not opening mouth wide enough and falling asleep too easily it seems. Shame as they thought he was doing really well in hospital and we were left to it.
DH back at work and am alone till mum pops up later it's quite nice, will have breakfast and persevere with this latch I think wish me luck x

looks like I may yet be induced this week, even if I have to march up to the hospital and weep at them. Typically the consultant who agreed I should be induced tomorrow didn't actually write it in my hospital notes, just my hand held ones, so there is no record of it, sigh. Am hopeful that I put my case across though, we shall see. I had DS at 40+6 last time, so as am 40+6 today, am alternating between fury and self pitying tears. I'm sure people told me girls were easier than boys too :o

so fed up though.

oh, and congrats to the babies born yesterday! let's hope some more appear this week!

Owwww. Walking is not good but I'm really hoping it will help. But right now I'm gonna collapse on the sofa and eat cookies.

Well, I was going to come on here to ask for a virtual hug, because i've been feeling really tearful this morning, but you've all really cheered me up already!

So bp was up again yesterday morning and so AGAIN was back into hospital all day for monitoring. Or rather, two hours of monitoring and four hours of sitting around in a hot room waiting for them to confirm what i knew which was that i was fine. I know i'm being blase, and it's better to be safe than sorry, but dh and i had hoped to spend probably-last-pre-parent day together in the sunshine. Made up for it by going for an evening drive and eating takeaway by an estuary (watching the shelducks! Will explain that at some point btw!) but spent a lot of the evening snivelling because i kept thinking about how super dh is and how much i love him. (bloody hormones!)

Mw has been this morning and bp ok so i have escaped hospital for another day. I really really don't want to be induced - maybe for stupid reasons, but that's just how i feel. But i think it's going to be hard to avoid. Kveta - how do you fancy going to my appointment tomorrow and pretending to be me!

I have had my daily clary sage bath. As usual it does nothing. My hips are still really hurting so I will be having a day off bouncing on the ball.

Well I am in Surrey and the rain is something else today, started yesterday evening and it tipped down, I know that because I heard it every time I woke up! And it has just kept coming.
Off to ballet with DD shortly but need to go to bank with DS in tow, should be fun (not).

Last night I cried because I forgot to put the fried mushrooms on our plates - tired and hormonal covers that I think!
